Professional surfer and model Alana Blanchard is letting fans see how she invests in her happiness every day. Blanchard, 33, shared a video of herself wearing a variety of different workout outfits, detailing what makes her happy: HIIT, yoga, weights, spending time with her kids, being out in the fresh air, and more. “A few of my favorite ways to move my body and invest in my happiness,” she captioned the post. Here’s how Blanchard lives a charmed, happy, and sunkissed life.
1. Surfing For Sport and Fun
Blanchard’s favorite workout is simply hitting the waves with her board, but she also enjoys cardio sessions and Pilates. “I love incorporating interval training and sprints into my workouts,” she told Amodrn. “I also enjoy mixing it up with Pilates and yoga, which are amazing for toning. I’m a health food junkie and stick to a vegan diet. I have learnt that I feel so much better when I eat lean, clean foods.”
2. Out of Her Comfort Zone
Blanchard loves trying new workouts to keep things interesting. “Switch up your usual workout routine and don’t be afraid to try something new, like yoga, or the Les Mills Hiit Workouts, which are some of my personal favorite ways to move my body and also relax my mind,” she told Authority Magazine. “Sometimes stepping out of your comfort zone is exactly what you need for a fresh perspective.”
3. Vegan Smoothie Bowls

Blanchard follows a vegan diet with plenty of grains. “We’re plant-based in our house, so I’m always making smoothie bowls with lots of greens and CBD oil,” she told Medterra. “I also like putting it into turmeric lattes and salad bowls with potatoes, hummus, and quinoa. It's a really big part of my me-time, so I’m excited to be able to get that back into my routine.”
4. World Traveler
Blanchard is grateful her career has allowed her to spend time in some of the most beautiful spots in the world. “I love going to Mexico. Especially Salina Cruz,” she told Thermal Travel. “Something about that place feels so fun and you're in the middle of nowhere and there are fun point breaks everywhere. I mean, it's SO hard to pick, honestly. Fiji is at the top of my list too, but, it'd probably be Indonesia at the top.”
5. CBD For Stress Release
Blanchard is a big fan of CBD, which she had to replace with other relaxation methods while pregnant. “I can’t take CBD right now, so I’ve been turning to some other all-natural remedies to help me destress and get some sleep,” she told Medterra. “A good bath with soothing epsom salts, a glass of tea before bed, getting out into nature, and staying active have helped keep me happy and healthy. I’m a big believer in looking into all aspects of your life when it comes to your health. Living naturally, eating fruits and veggies, and avoiding processed foods has helped me so much.”
