Alena Gerber is eating her veggies – or chips at least – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the German model shows off her fit figure in a two-piece workout set while eating a potato chip. “Eat your greens ✌🏽🥔,” she captioned the Instagram photo. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Surfing

Alena enjoys surfing. Outside and the sun is the main thing. And in a bikini, of course,” she captioned a post of herself holding a surfboard. According to the Australian government’s Better Health, surfing provides many health benefits including cardiovascular fitness from paddling, shoulder and back strength, which also strengthens from the paddling, and leg and core strength. “Once you’re standing up on the board, strong legs and a strong core will keep you up,” they say.

2. Walking

Alena loves to walk, especially while traveling. “A bit Vegas, a bit Amsterdam 🫶🏽 #lastweek #love,” she wrote in one of her Instagram posts. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

3. Baths

Alena enjoys taking baths to wind down. How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

4. Tennis

Alena also plays tennis. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.

5. A “Relaxed” Approach to Diet

Alena keeps her diet healthy, but doesn’t obsess over it. "Personally, I don't count calories, I eat vegetarian and healthy and I eat something sweet every day because I simply like it and I treat myself to it. I have a relaxed relationship with food and that's why my body reacts in a relaxed way,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

Melissa Pfeister is sharing a “work it Wednesday” workout – in her two-piece workout clothes. In a new social media post the trainer and fitness influencer shows off her amazing body in skintight workout wear while breaking a sweat. “Want a lady in the streets but a freak in the…gym 😜💪🏻🔥 #workitwednesday,” she captioned the video. If you want to sweat like Melissa – and eat like her – here is everything you need to know about her workout and eating habits.

1. Here Is Her Workout

In the clip, Melissa does 12 to 15 reps of each exercise and 2 to 3 sets:

  1. Plank row
  2. Weighted crunch reach
  3. Plank pull thrus

“This was more of a core workout but overall a pretty good workout,” explains Kendra Gamble, HIT Fitness Training, Huntingdon Valley, PA, NPTI Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant. “I would have thrown in a rotational exercise or some oblique exercise to target the entire core.”

2. Recreating Her Favorite Dishes in a “Healthy Way”

Melissa, who competed on Food Network Star, explains her goal when it comes to cooking. “I take foods that maybe aren’t the best for you and re-create them in a healthy way,” she told them. “My greatest strength I would say is adapting. I eat healthy, and I have a lot of allergies ... I’ve always had allergies my whole life. ... Lactose, dairy, I’ve always been that, and then as I started getting older, more allergies developed. So, you really have to learn how to, like, get creative with food if you want to be able to eat something. ... If cheese is in something, what else can I put in it?”

3. Living Off Green Drinks

Melissa also loves to drink her greens. “Some people may think it’s weird — I don’t. I live off of green drinks where it’s, like, you know, your kale your spinach your parsley your apple,” she says.

4. Baked French Fries and Chicken Fingers

Melissa’s signature dish? “It’s baked, not fried, French fries, but they have flavor; they have taste. Or chicken fingers, but same thing — a healthy version. So ... simple things,” she says.

5. Cheat Meals

Bangkok,-,May,26,,2019,:,Top,View,Of,DiaryShutterstock

Her “guilty pleasure” food? “I mean, Dairy Queen for sure. The thing is I’m happy that I don’t know here Dairy Queen is around me in LA, so it’s kind of a good thing. But when in doubt, if it’s, like, ‘no, I don’t care, I am just going for it,’ then I will just drive myself to the store, and I will get an either Oreo or cookie dough ice cream, and then I’ll be sick, because [of] my dairy issues. But eating it those few bites — it’ll be worth it.” She admits, “if my stomach would allow me to eat a Dairy Queen Blizzard every day, I would eat one, extra Oreos and cookie dough. You go big or go home. That’s it.”

6. Eating Out, But Healthy

Apanese,Sushi,Food.,Maki,Ands,Rolls,With,Tuna,,Salmon,,Shrimp,Shutterstock

Melissa, a member of the ETNT Medical Review board, explained to the publication that eating out at restaurants doesn’t have to be sinful. "It's all about the choices you make," says Melissa. "For instance, my first thought [of a healthy option] would be a sushi restaurant with lots of edamame and lots of fresh fish and seafood, but then again, you can order fried rock shrimp tempura in a creamy aioli sauce there, too. You just have to look a little harder and be a little more creative, but healthy options are always, always there."

2. She Drinks Water and Coffee with Creamer

Davina.Potratz.2Davina Potratz/Instagram

Davina starts her morning by hydrating. “I typically start my day with a glass of water because your body's been dehydrated after sleeping. So that's the best way to start,” she says. “And then I have a cup of coffee with one of these two creamers, depending on how sweet I'm feeling, which I absolutely love, and they're delicious.”

3. She Follows It Up with a “High Protein Savory Breakfast”

Davina.Potratz.3Davina Potratz/Instagram

“I love to start my day with a high protein savory breakfast to avoid blood sugar spikes, followed by a seeded gluten-free granola with Greek yogurt for more protein and blueberries and strawberries,” Davina dishes.

4. Protein Bowls and Smoothies

Davina.Potratz.4_bb4a6dDavina Potratz/Instagram

“For lunch, I like to have protein smoothies, or my favorite is a protein bowl. This just has a frozen banana plant protein, almond butter, and almond milk. Top with a little bit of granola, blueberries, and manuka honey,” she says.

5. Chlorophyll Water

Davina.Potratz.5Davina Potratz/Instagram

“As a juice alternative, I love this beverage,” she continues. “It's a chlorophyll water, super low in sugar, only eight grams for the whole bottle. It also has aloe vera. It helps with digestion, and it's super yummy.”

6. Fish and Salad or Veggies

And, for her last meal of the day, she pairs a protein with produce. “So we made it to dinner. I typically have fish and salads or mixed vegetables,” she says.

1. Exercise, But Not Just to Look Good

Jana is a firm believer in the power of exercise. “Still not feeling 100 percent,” Jana explained in her Instagram stories video, previously revealing that she was battling a cold. “But I'm still going to run it out, sweat it out." She also told Us Weekly that she exercises for mental health benefits as well. “Working out for me is my sanity…Even just going for a walk, that is a place where I come back and I'm like, 'I feel good, I feel balanced. Working out is 100% how I stay level."

2. Run It Out

Jana loves a good run. “Run done. Feels good to be back at it after taking time off during movie. I feel better after running it out. Good for the soul. Also, Deodarant [sic] lines for the win,” she captioned a recent Instagram snap

3. Go High Intensity

Jana trains with Nashville trainer-to-the-stars Erin Oprea, whose workouts combine high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and Tabata circuits with strength training exercises. “Don’t be scared of weights — weights make pretty muscles,” Oprea told Us.

4. Eat Clean

Jana maintains a clean diet. Recently she shared a photo of herself noshing on a grilled salmon salad. “I contribute so much of it to her eating,” Oprea told Us, revealing that her client is a “clean eater.” Jana described her average food day to The New Potato. “Two eggs over easy with some avocado toast and fresh squeezed OJ. I’m not much of a lunch girl, but I snack throughout the day – apples, cottage cheese, carrots and hummus, almonds…I’m always snacking. I love a good hearty dinner: Salmon with risotto or a strip steak and a sweet potato with a kale salad,” she said.

5. Drink Your Greens

Jana loves sipping on smoothies, describing her dream drink to The New Potato. “My perfect smoothie would consist of kale, spinach, cucumber, parsley, lots of ginger and lemon,” she said.

6. Know Your Self-Worth

Jana’s latest song was inspired by abuse she has suffered and is a reminder to all that you are enough. “The voices in my head….I’ve been mentally physically and emotionally abused in past relationships. I allowed certain behaviors to continue on because I actually believed the negative voices in my head that were spoken to me,” she wrote on Instagram. “All the words, i abuse equaled, I’m not enough. And I’m not worthy of love. For years I’ve repeated patterns, fallen into the trap of believing those voices, hurting myself and hurting others because of my desire to be chosen, to be enough. And I’ve fallen for the same abuse in a relationship because it’s what I thought I deserved. My healing…your healing…our healing is to stop those negative voices. Now is the time to grow, learn, HEAL, and love ourselves. We are enough. You are enough. I am enough. ‘I’m done with voices in my head.’”

Bianca Bustamante is revving up her engine in 2025 – in her workout gear. In a new social media post, the racecar driver reveals she is taking “the next major step” in her physical journey as a race driver “and I’ve set the target high!” she says in a new Instagram post, filled with video clips of herself lifting heavy weights at the gym. “Never been more motivated in my life, it’s not physically easy for a girl in this sport, but I’m super excited to take on this new challenge and the next big step on my racing journey,” she added. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here are her top lifestyle tips.

Lifting Weights

Bianca spends hours at the gym where she focuses on strength training along with endurance, cardio, reaction time, and reflexes. “You know, to be a driver, it’s a complete package. It takes strength. It takes mental fortitude. It takes reflexes, smart thinking, and survival skills,” she told MEGA Active. “Sometimes it's for the body, sometimes it's for the mind. Nothing more peaceful than early sessions,” she captioned an Instagram post of one of her sessions.

Double Down On Training

In her recent post, Bianca reveals that she working extra hard at the gym. “I’ve been working hard over the years to build a solid foundation, but in 2025, I’ll be working with @j_w_90 and I’m doubling down on my training. Increasing to two workouts a day not just on lifts but aerobic endurance, as well as a better focus on nutrition and rest, in order to raise the bar to compete in the higher formulas,” she said.

Fueling Your Body With Protein

Bianca makes sure to eat enough protein in order to build more muscle and stay as lean as possible to meet the weight requirement. “It’s been a really cool journey seeing my body develop and transform into this whole different person I never knew I could become,” she said. In her new post she added that she is meal prepping. “I’m soooo all in that im even learning how to cook & meal prep better than ever before,” she writes.

Taking Cold Plunges

As for recovery, cold plunging is part of Bianca’s training regime. Limited research supports the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increasing focus, improving sleep, and decreasing inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes post-sport recovery.

Working On Self-Esteem

Positive self-talk is also important. “Of course, I put a lot of pressure on myself, but in the end, I always tell myself that as long as I give my best and I learn from it, any mistake I make is valid,” Bianca explained. “I always try to repeat that to myself that I am valid. I’m here for a reason and there’s nothing I would rather do than be here.”

There’s a city program to Spay and neuter with the wonderful @sobecats ladies and the feeding is made official by a City Sanctioned badge, yet new cats keep getting dumped daily sadly and there’s a never ending amount of work, emergencies and so on. I was on a feeding rotation but during the pandemic I was left alone caring for so many as people left town or couldn’t afford feeding anymore …I decided to start my own non profit @helpmiamicats . We feed close to 200 and when Batman got paralyzed took him and other special needs cats under my care … @stevensachs69 with the cat room and the amazing people involved devote their lives to these special souls … My life has changed a lot too … way less spare time, way more sweat and tears and lost the person I had by my side who had sadly other priorities … yet gained so much love from these lovely creatures !!! If you can please get involved in any way … follow @helpmiamicats , share, volunteer, adopt … donate … Only together we can make their world a better place !!! And yes … just me feeding the kitties and talking to them … 🤷🏻♀️👀😆❤️🙌”
