1. Coffee

Alex is a coffee drinker. She adds Inulin to her coffee, she revealed to Now Foods. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

2. Lacrosse, Yoga, and HIIT Workouts

Inspired by sports, Alex started an online fitness community. “Through playing lacrosse, I’ve found that nothing bonds and lifts people up more than sweating together,” she told Pro Lacrosse Talk. Most of her workouts are weight and strength training, like HIIT, and yoga.

3. Walking

Alex is a walker. You can find her walking her dog daily, a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

4. Pickleball

Alex loves playing pickleball and even competes in tournaments. The racquet sport is very similar to tennis, which blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination, says ACE Fitness.

Larson opened up about her stint on The Bachelor on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. She says that she didn’t take the show super seriously, and just enjoyed herself. "I feel like a lot of the girls [on the show] were careful about what they said or [did]," she explained. "They wanted to present themselves well and like, yeah, I just wanted to have fun. It's a show. I wasn't taking it seriously. 'Cause, I mean, that's what it was."

2. She Sticks Up For Herself

Larson was subjected to a lot of criticism because of her time on The Bachelor. Unfortunately, that included some body-shaming. However, Larson made sure to defend herself. When her season’s lead, Matt James’ friends commented on her body, she immediately responded. Larson posted a photo on Instagram and captioned it, “Tell me again, how my body doesn’t look good?”

3. She Got Lasik

Larson revealed on Instagram that she received Lasik surgery. However, this wasn’t just to fix her eyes, but to help with her anxiety. On her Not Skinny But Not Fat interview, Larson revealed that she is working on being more positive. I didn't think I'd find the love of my life and ended up finding the perfect man, not just the perfect body, but just didn't realize, hey, when you leave the villa that you have no idea what's going on. I had no idea. I had this love and this support and I just want to be thankful to everyone. Even my haters, I love them as well. Even if there is that, I'm just over the moon. It's been really busy. “It was all real though in there,” she said to Lorraine. “It was. And that's why I was shocked when we won because we forgot it was a show at one point. We were like, if this relationship isn't working, I felt like walking at one point and I felt like if it's not going to work, I don't want anyone else. And he felt the same. She felt comfortable on screen because the cameras, “they're so hidden. These cameras, you don't know where they are. You can't pretend or act on there. If you were to act, it would happen for two days and your mask would fall off. Then you're yourself. And in Casa Moore, obviously there was a moment, I dunno, I'm going to say this. Medics came. I had a mini panic attack, I was thinking, oh no, what's Davide doing in Cass Amor? Is he with someone else? And the medics were like, it's fine. Just relax.” She took deep breaths.

4. She Really Was in Shock

When she won, she really was “shocked. When I say my heart, my heart was beating. It was coming out of my chest. I genuinely thought everyone's winners. I didn't really expect anything. And then when our names were called, I was like, is this a dream,” she said on Loose Women.

5. ”In Relationships, You Make Mistakes”

“In relationships, you got to make mistakes,” she said on Loose Women. “You got to know it's right. You have to have these tests, and in real life, whether you have a normal job day-to-day walking on the street, you have to trust your partner and there's going to be people who are going to try it on you. Ginny And Georgia star Sara Waisglass went on a magical trip to Neuchâtel, Switzerland over the summer. I’m currently testing out a couple of other practices. The one that’s helped me the most is meditation. It’s the only thing that can quiet the mind, in my experience. I’ve used it before auditions, on flights, in the bathroom on dates… It's incredible. Also, yin yoga has done wonders for me. It gets you out of your head and into your body. I love it.”

Waisglass loves how brave the character of Maxine is. “The thing that immediately drew me to Max was how brave she was and how unafraid she is to speak her mind,” she says. “Degrassi does an incredible job making characters that they write for us once we're on the show. It felt a lot more normal. But is very, very out there. That was a huge challenge [for me] and super fun. Every single day [getting to play Max] was just the best day of my life.”

3. Facing Fear

Waisglass struggles with anxiety but is learning to manage it. “The biggest challenge in my career is managing my fear,” she says. “I’d say my largest fears in life are rejection, comparison and travel. Acting asks me to face all of them on a daily basis. I think it’s healthy to have a career that challenges you and makes you want to grow. Being part of this industry has made me brave, and I’m very grateful for it.”

4. Inspired by Maxine

Waisglass is inspired by her character’s dress and fashion sense. “Maxine’s wardrobe truly defines who she is,” she says. “I used to always wear black and dark colors and gray, but now, I’m experimenting with color.”

5. Practicing Gratitude

Waisglass practices gratitude every day, and reminds herself how lucky she is. “I’ve been incredibly fortunate with the roles I’ve booked and the career I’ve had so far,” she says. “I find it difficult to pick favorites because every role has given me something different, something new that I’ve gotten to carry with me in future work and also in my personal life. I’d say Max from Ginny and Georgia is the role I’m most proud of. That character unlocked me and gave me a freedom I’ve never known before. And the way the world embraced her, and in turn the show (which I’m incredibly proud of), makes me swell with pride!”

She Lifts Weights

According to The Mayo Clinic, these have a lot of benefits. “Research on cold-water immersion has found evidence that it helps reduce the degree of exercise-induced muscle damage that can occur after physically challenging activities. Less damage leads to less inflammation, which in turn reduces soreness and helps restore physical performance the next day. Last year, Malik gave fans a look at her workout routine in an Instagram video, where she powered through hanging crunches, lunges, and weightlifting sessions. She captioned the post, “Got some major work to do before my next session,” proving that even elite athletes are always striving to improve. She Lifts Weights

Malik is seen doing a lot of weight lifting in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. ACE Fitness says that lunges are a form of unilateral training, and that makes them effective. “Unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side.”

She Does Core Workouts

Malik is seen doing core workouts, like hanging crunches in her Instagram video. Core workouts are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “While it takes aerobic activity to burn fat in your stomach, core exercises can strengthen and tone the underlying muscles. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes.”

She Does Pull-Ups

An upper body workout that Malik likes to do is pull-ups. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them at the gym. Malik captioned it, “Got some major work to do before my next session.” Asphalt Green says that pull-ups have a lot of benefits. “Pull-ups are a fantastic way to improve upper-body strength. This exercise primarily targets your back and biceps, but involves many stabilizing muscles in your core, arms, and shoulders. Depending on the way you grip the bar, you can even work your chest. Plus, you don’t need any fancy equipment to do a pull-up. Tree branches, scaffolding, and even door frames are all places people can do pull-ups.”

Golf is obviously one of the ways that Malik keeps herself in shape. Better Health says that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

She Does Lunges

Guper shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunges. According to The Mayo Clinic, lunges have a lot of benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles.”

She Does Leg Extensions

In the previous Instagram video, Guper is seen using the leg extension machine. Asphalt Green says that leg extensions have a lot of benefits. “These machines provide isolation exercises for your legs.
