Alex Scott In Bikini Shares “Postcards From Rhodes” With Jess Glynne

The couple took a vacation together, and enjoyed a relaxing boat ride.

Former women’s football star, Alex Scott, and her girlfriend, singer Jess Glynne, are enjoying a vacation in Rhodes. Alex shared some highlights from the trip on Instagram. In them, they enjoyed a boat ride, sunbathed, and went to a local restaurant. Alex wore a white bikini, highlighting her figure. She captioned the post, “Lil postcard from Rhodes.” Here are 5 of Alex Scott’s secrets to keeping herself fit.

1

She Loves HIIT Workouts

Alex shared some of her fitness secrets in an interview with Stylist. One of her go-to workouts is high-intensity interval training. “My routine varies a lot. I am a big fan of high-intensity exercise, so I take a lot of HIIT classes because I like to feel the sweat and that burn; it’s something my body craves, probably because of my time as an athlete.”

She Loves Walking

Alex does many different workouts to keep herself in shape, and they can range from gentle to intense. When she wants an easier workout, she opts to go for a wlak. “I also make sure to switch it up and I enjoy going for a nice long walk when it’s not too freezing cold outside,” Alex tells Stylist.

3

She’s Consistent

While Alex may no longer be a professional athlete, that doesn’t mean she has given up working out consistently. “If I’ve not moved my body for a couple of days – if I’ve not been eating right or not been to the gym – my energy is low and my mood is very different to when I’m working out regularly,” she tells Stylish. “When I do exercise regularly, I feel like I have more energy, my mood is more upbeat and positive and my outlook is a lot different.”

4

She Believes In Herself

Alex has never doubted herself or told herself that she couldn’t do something. “I’ve never limited myself,”  she reveals to Women’s Health. “I never thought, ‘I can’t do that,’ [or] ‘I can’t do that.’ It was always, ‘What if?’ Like, my mind was always open and bringing it in.”

5

She Uses A Glucose Meter

To keep herself healthy, Alex reveals to Women’s Health that she uses a glucose meter. “Wearing the Lingo glucose biosensor has got me back into that mindset of just checking, like, ‘Okay, am I good? How is my body reacting to what I’m eating? What I’m doing?’ Sometimes you just need that little form of education… this is another step for people, [without] going too much into the science, but you can learn and see and help your body out.”
