Alex Scott Shares Swimsuit Photo of Jess Glynne

Here are her lifestyle habits.

Jess Glynne is being celebrated on her birthday in her swimsuit. The singer's friend, Alex Scott, shared a bathing suit snap of her in honor of her 34th birthday and the day her new song, Friend of Mine, dropped. "Happy new song day and you day," she captioned the Instagram Story, a photo of her friend sitting on the dock at sunset. How does the singer maintain her amazing body? Celebwell rounded up her top health habits.

She Hydrates

Jess prioritizes hydration "As a singer, it's so important to be healthy and have a great stamina, and be hydrated," she told  Glamour. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

She Works Out

Jess makes sure to exercise, no matter what. "If I'm on the road, I make sure I get up in the morning and go for a jog or do some stomach stuff," she said. "Or when we're doing a sound test, do something around the venue. I can't always be that strict, but I try as much as I can. But after everything that's been going on [with the surgery] – I want to be fit and healthier."

She Doesn't Drink

Jess chose not to drink alcohol, which is high in calories and can damage your health in other ways. "I don't really enjoy it," she says.

She Maintains a Balanced Diet

Jess says she is "100% conscious of my diet. But I love chocolate," and maintains a balanced diet. "I'm not one of those people who says, 'I don't drink, and I just drink water, and I only eat green.'"

Her Dad Is Her Fitspiration

Jess has a major form of fitspiration. "My dad is obsessed with fitness to this day. He goes to the gym every single day. He goes at stupid o'clock in the morning as well. And he's 62," she told  Female First. "He's amazing and super healthy. Since I was a kid he's always wanted me to be an athlete, he wanted me to be in the Arsenal team. I've grown up loving all kinds of sports. I was on the football team, netball team, basketball team, all of that, I've always tried to maintain that kind of fitness."
