Alexis Ren is a very successful model and influencer. She competed on the 27th season of Dancing With The Stars, and finished in fourth place. Ren shares a lot of gorgeous photos on social media. She recently shared a set of selfies on her Instagram story. In them, Ren wore a colorful swimsuit top and a bandana. Ren’s impressive figure was on display. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Alexis Ren stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Uses Serums

Ren has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared her secrets in an interview with Glamour. Ren makes sure to use serums on her face. “I just started implementing the Sonya Dakar Super Clear as a base. It's a preventative thing for breakouts, and I use it every day. Then I use the vitamin C serum with hyaluronic and vitamin C, which I've learned is important. I kind of pat it on as opposed to rub it in, because it peels away, which is kind of weird.”

2. She Works With A Facialist

Ren helped come up with her skincare routine with the help of facialist, Sonya Dakar. “She's helped me understand the types of substances that work on my skin,” Ren says to Glamour. “She came on and taught a skin course to my community, and she broke down why we need vitamins, why we need hyaluronic acid. Then you don't have to rely on one brand. You can be like, ‘I'm just looking for these exact ingredients.’ It puts the power back in your hands.”

3. She Uses Two Facial Cleansers

Ren tells Glamour that she makes sure to cleanse her face. “I use two facial cleansers: One of them is the Sensi Wash by Sonya Dakar, and the other one is the Blueberry Rebalancing 5.5 Cleanser from Innisfree. The Sensi wash is made with oat milk, so it has this milky feel. That doesn't actually get the makeup off; it just cleanses my face. If have makeup on, I use something soapy that's going to get rid of everything and that's the Innisfree.”

4. She Keeps Her Skin Moisturized

Alexis.Ren.1Alexis Ren/Instagram

Ren shared her favorite moisturizers with Glamour. “After serums, I use the Stem Cell Transformer, which is an antiaging cream. I just got on it. It's also by Sonya Dakar, and I think she said I can start it around 24, which is how old I am. For my neck, I started using the SBLA Wand—I don't really know if it works, but I like to try things. It's this sculpting thing; you put it on your neck and under your chin and stuff, and it uses collagen tightening and metabolic melting, because our necks are the first parts of our body that you can really start to see aging. I wanted to start a treatment early, and I'm just trying this now. I use it every night just before bed time. I feel like we neglect our chest and our necks, but our chest is more sensitive than our face.”

5. She Works Out Each Morning

Alexis.Ren.2Alexis Ren/Instagram

Ren shared her daily routine in an interview with Grazia. She says that she works out in the mornings, and shared her favorite ones. “Starting my day off with a workout helps me to be my most productive self. I have been a ballerina for 20 years, so ballet is my first love when it comes to movement. I also love long walks and hikes, yoga, and surfing. For me, when I can move through an activity that I love, I enjoy the time spent doing it rather than it feeling like something I need to check off of my to-do list.”

1. Her Fridge is 98% Vegan

alexis-ren-1Alexis Ren/Instagram

Alexis took Women’s Health into her fridge and revealed it’s 98% vegan. “Just eating more plant-based foods overall is a huge leap in the right direction. So if being a vegan feels overwhelming, consider starting with a goal of eating more plant-based foods,” dietitian Julia Zumpano, RD, tells the Cleveland Clinic. Here are some of Alexis’ ideas:

  • “What I love to do with broccoli is I love to saute it with coconut amino acids.”
  • “I love fruit so much. It keeps me happy.”
  • “Almond butter for smoothies. I make sure that there's no sodium in it because we have a tendency to put a lot of salt in it.”
  • “The milks that I like are usually macadamia milk or oat milk. They're great with my favorite snack in the world,” which is Catalina Crunch.
  • “For more protein oriented things, I would say I'm 98% vegan. So for my proteins, I love beans, garbanzo beans. I love tempeh.”

2. She Makes Food From Scratch

Los Angeles Special Screening Of "Marry Me"Steve Granitz/FilmMagic

She and her God sister, “We love just making things from scratch,” she told Women’s Health. “I think, coming from a background of having an eating disorder, I just think it's so important that we make our food with love and you know what’s in it. So that's when I started actually cooking for myself, was when I realized how much better I felt when I knew what was going into my body. And also that I put so much love into it. Because so much of the time, you'll order something and everyone's in such a rush all the time that it just doesn't have the kind of quality and energetic balance that it needs. And since I'm very sensitive, I can usually feel that. So I love, love, love eating at home.”

3. She Works Her Core Bigtime

Los Angeles Premiere Of Amazon Studio's "The Tender Bar" - ArrivalsSteve Granitz/FilmMagic

Alexis shared a video of her abs workout and it’s intense, a deceivingly short 10 minus that’ll make you burn. Included are sit ups, knee touch crunches, heel crunches, bicycle crunches, reach through crunches, tow tap legs lifts and more. Here’s a core exercise from personal trainer Mark Langowski that you can do at home:

“Alternating Forward lunge with medicine ball core rotation. Men use a 10-20lb med ball. Women use 4-10lb med ball.

Stand with your toes facing forward and your feet about a foot apart. Hold a medicine ball in front of your belly with both hands, arms extended. Inhale and step your right foot out approximately three feet in front of your body (depending on your height). Your front knee should be bent at a 90-degree angle, with your foot directly under your knee. As your front foot hits the floor, rotate your torso to the right and reach the medicine ball out over your right leg. Now twist back to center as you use the muscles of your leg and core to push yourself back up to the starting position. Repeat with the left leg. Total of 20 reps. (10 each side)”

4. She Stretches

Sony Pictures' "Spider-Man: No Way Home" Los Angeles Premiere - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Alexis always stretches, starting with “relaxing our necks and stretching them out, listening to those micro muscles.” Sometimes you wanna go deep and painful and sometimes you “want to acknowledge these tiny little micro muscles—we take them for granted.” “It's helpful to include stretching in your exercise regimen. Stretching can increase flexibility and improve your joints' range of motion, helping you move more freely. And ensuring that you have equal flexibility on both sides might help protect you from injury,” says the Mayo Clinic. “Before stretching, warm up with 5 to 10 minutes of light activity. Better yet, stretch after a workout. Keep stretches gentle and slow. Don't bounce. Breathe through your stretches. If you feel pain, you've stretched too far. Hold a stretch for about 30 seconds, to the point of a slight pull, on each side. Repeat the stretch on both sides 2 to 4 times. Stretching is recommended 2 to 3 days a week.”

5. She Says Yoga is All About the Breath

Sony Pictures' "Spider-Man: No Way Home" Los Angeles Premiere - ArrivalsMatt Winkelmeyer/WireImage

Ren has posted a video of her doing a yoga cool down. “Yoga’s pretty much about breath,” she correctly states at the beginning. “The good news is that anyone can do yoga. My teacher used to say that if you can breathe, you can do yoga. Everyone starts where they are, and the practice of yoga should be adapted to the needs of each person,” says Michele Hoffman, a certified yoga therapist at Mayo Clinic Health System. “When people think of yoga, most people think of the physical poses or stretching when in fact yoga has many tools to offer for healing body, mind and spirit. The tools of yoga include physical poses, breathing practices, meditation practices, hand gestures and a disciplined lifestyle of cultivating healthy habits.”

Ren has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it on a regular basis. “It's similar to how I feel about working out,” she says to Glamour. “It's not about doing intense products or harsh things. It's really just about consistency and making sure that when I wash my face, it's 100%. If I have to, I'll wash my face twice. That's what I think really took my skin to the next level: when I realized how hard it is to get everything off. It's more of training your skin or body to be on a certain regimen.”

2. She Uses Two Skin Cleansers

Ren shared her favorite skincare products with Glamour. She says that she uses two cleansers. “One of them is the Sensi Wash by Sonya Dakar, and the other one is the Blueberry Rebalancing 5.5 Cleanser from Innisfree. 4. She Works Out In The Mornings

When it comes to fitness, Ren likes to get it done right away. “Starting my day off with a workout helps me to be my most productive self,” she said to Grazia. “I have been a ballerina for 20 years, so ballet is my first love when it comes to movement. I also love long walks and hikes, yoga, and surfing. For me, when I can move through an activity that I love, I enjoy the time spent doing it rather than it feeling like something I need to check off of my to-do list.”

5. She Goes Outside

Ren shared her daily routine with Grazia. She says that she loves to spend time outside. “I was born and raised in Santa Monica, CA and because of that, I have always loved going to the beach. I love surfing, picnics on the beach; you name it. I love bringing my dog to the beach and letting her play in the sand, and say hello to everyone that passes by. I enjoy the simple things! Give me a journal, a picnic, my puppy, and a bikini, and I am content.”

Alexis Ren is one of the most successful current models and now she's off to conquer new lands in Hollywood. “I realized acting is connected a lot with regulating your nervous system, being present, having a connection with God in that way. Ren wants to be an inspiration for young girls. One way she does so is by being open about her skincare routine. “I've made it a purpose of mine to break the taboo [when it comes to treatments],” she tells Glamour. “It's weird when celebrities say, ‘Oh, yeah, I just used this cream.’ It's like, ‘No, you don't.’ I want to help girls understand that.”

2. She’s Educated About Skincare

Ren decided to learn more about skincare products. She tells Glamour that Sonya Dakar has taught her about them. “She's helped me understand the types of substances that work on my skin,” Ren says. “She came on and taught a skin course to my community, and she broke down why we need vitamins, why we need hyaluronic acid. Then you don't have to rely on one brand. You can be like, ‘I'm just looking for these exact ingredients.’ It puts the power back in your hands.”

3. She Keeps Skincare Consistent and Simple

Ren breaks down some of her favorite foods to Women’s Health. She says that she loves different salads. "I'll do kale salad," she says. "I'll chop up the kale I picked in small pieces with my hands and add onions and then garbanzo beans because they're a really good protein."

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”
