Aly Michalka in Two-Piece Workout Gear is "Starting Up Workouts Again"

Aly Michalka, renowned actress and singer, first captivated audiences on the Disney Channel's "Phil of the Future" and later in the Disney Channel movie "Cow Belles," alongside her sister AJ. She shared a photo from a Pilates studio on Instagram, captioning it, “Home! Back at it @wunderbarpilates. 1. She Does Pilates

As you can see from her Instagram story, Michalka loves to do Pilates. She talked about this in an interview with Parade. “It’s great for strength, for core. I love that there’s no way to bulk with Pilates. That’s impossible because you’re using your own body strength. It feels great on your joints. My body always feels so good afterwards. And warmed up. I don’t know. We’ve been doing it now for the past almost five years and we’re regular Pilates goers.”

2. She Has An Active Job

The main way Michalka stays in shape? Playing a concert. She tells Parade that doing live performances is one of the main ways she stays in shape. “Our show is kind of a workout; it is very physical. We are sweating and moving around on stage so that’s a form of an hour-and-a-half workout throughout the night.”

3. She Doesn’t Overwork Herself

Michalka said to Parade that she and her sister have learned to not overwork themselves. “Growing up in the business as young girls, we just were so used to saying yes,” Michalka said. “We didn’t want to come off rude or come off like we were shutting someone down. There’s a way to say no and still be nice about it and still be kind. We’ve started especially working on that on the road, whether it’s maybe a fan encounter or something’s that’s asked of us and we just are like, ‘You know what? We need to save our voices. We can’t do that.’”

4. She Eats Healthy

Michalka makes sure to eat healthy. She talked about this with Parade. “Trying to keep the greens in your diet, that’s been actually like the hardest struggle. It’s not always the easiest, but when we’re in a city and there’s the option to have a pizza, you’re like, ‘Well, maybe I won’t do that, and I’ll get something instead that’s actually going to nourish me.’”

5. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Michalka makes sure to take care of her skin. She shared her routine and favorite products in an interview with Allure. “I do nothing like a terrible person, which probably drives people insane when they do find that out. I literally use Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads or and that’s really it. I’ll also use the Glossier Priming Moisturizer Rich, but that’s it. AJ has more of a regimen that she does every morning and night.”
