Amanda Batula in Two-Piece Workout Gear Says "Sup Baby"

Here’s how she stays in shape.

Amanda Batula is best known for being a cast member on the Bravo series, Summer House. She's also appeared on the spinoff, Winter House. Batula is married to cast member, Kyle Cooke, and the two own the beverage company, LoverBoy. Batula shared a set of photos on Instagram last June. In them, she wore a silver bra top and black pants. She Intermittent Fasts

Batula likes to intermittently fast. She talked about her approach to it on her Instagram story. "I drink bulletproof [coffee] on the days that I'm intermittent fasting because it's full of healthy fats and it keeps me full until I'm ready to eat lunch around 3:00 or so. This way I don't feel like I'm starving myself and I'm still getting, like, nutrients. What worked best for me and was easiest and I saw the best results from was intermittent fasting. And bulletproof [coffee]."

She Stands Up For Herself

Batula isn't afraid to stand up for herself, as you can see from her on Summer House. After receiving criticism for the way she used eye patches, she hit back on Instagram. "That theory makes sense to me, so that's what I'm going with. Plus, the skin under our eyes is so thin and absorbent I really don't think it matters what way you wear them so … whatever way your heart desires is the right way to wear eye patches. Let's not judge one another, OK?"

She Swims

As you can see on Summer House, Batula spends a lot of time at the beach. She naturally loves to swim. Batula shared these highlights on Instagram of a trip to the Amalfi Coast. In one, she is seen getting out of the water. According to the Mayo Clinic, spending time in the water has a lot of benefits. "Exercise in an aquatic environment offers numerous options and techniques for almost all levels of physical ability. Exercise can be as basic as walking in the water to more high-level aerobic activities, such as deep-water running or swimming. Standing exercises often are performed in water that is waist to chest deep. These exercises can focus on improving range of motion/flexibility, balance and strength. Resistance training can be amped up by simply increasing the speed of movement or adding equipment, such as mitts, paddles, noodles or bands, to increase drag."

She Skis

While filming Winter House, Batula hit the slopes. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself skiing. The University of Rochester reports that skiing has a lot of benefits. "Skiing and snowboarding are thrilling activities and great workouts. Both sports are excellent cardiovascular exercises that strengthen the heart. They are also weight-bearing exercises. So hey strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles. Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also work to reduce your risk for ongoing (chronic) diseases. They lower your blood pressure. And they help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer."

She Has Dogs

Batula and Cooke are dog owners, and their pups are featured heavily on Batula's Instagram. Harvard Health reports that having a dog has a lot of benefits. "Owning a dog can be one of the best ways to manage many health issues older adults face," says Dr. Beth Frates, director of lifestyle medicine and wellness in the Department of Surgery at Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. "It can be a real team effort, too. You take care of the dog, and the dog takes care of you."
