Amanda Seyfried's Morning Drink Routine May Be the Secret to Her Glow

When it comes to healthy tips, we always look to someone who truly shines. Actress Amanda Seyfried has a beautiful complexion and clearly takes the essential steps in her skincare routine and diet to maintain her iconic glow. The Mamma Mia! star happens to be quite particular when it comes to her beverages in the AM and the products she uses on her face.

The celeb recently shared in a Vogue video interview that she suffers from eczema, a condition that can cause itchy and dry areas of skin, which is why she's so on-task with her regimen. Although you can treat eczema, it's not curable. Amanda has had perioral dermatitis since she was 19 years old.

"I learned about a lot of medicated products; I learned a lot about, just products in general from my dermatologist at the time," she said.

Celery juice is completely packed with healthy benefits. It provides nutrients, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties, and hydration. When you blend celery into a juice, you're concentrating all of that goodness together. It's also worth mentioning that celery juice is low in sugar, which makes for happy, healthy skin.

In addition, celery juice is low-calorie and provides ~2 grams of protein and ~5 grams of fiber, according to The Cleveland Clinic. Some of the vitamins and minerals in celery juice include vitamins C, B9, and K, along with potassium.

Amanda shared in her interview this crucial step in her daily routine, noting, "First step, I'm drinking my celery juice. Apparently, that's what you do."

2. She Also Loves Black Coffee

So many people kick their day off with and run on coffee—and Amanda is no exception, stating, "I can't wake up and not have coffee." The celeb skips the dairy and takes her coffee black—Casa Tua, to be exact.

Black coffee is full of health benefits as well. Aside from the obvious wake-up and energy boost, coffee has also been associated with a lower risk of Alzheimer's disease, heart disease, colon cancer, and more. The secret, however, is keeping it black—especially if you're watching your waistline. Many coffee creamers and syrups are loaded with calories, so you may want to think twice before ordering a sugary latte and opt for black instead.

She Lives an All-Around Balanced Life

Amanda also focuses on leading an overall well-balanced life. In fact, the celeb traded in city life for living on a farm in upstate New York.

"I moved upstate long before I had a family. Staying here was the best decision for privacy, peace and nature," Amanda told PEOPLE. "It offers a more balanced life than the city does." She also pointed out that this life change was "essential for my mental health."
