We found the wellness secrets of actress/guru Gwyneth Paltrow and her star-studded circle. From Paltrow's advocacy for natural products (via Goop) to Cameron Diaz's unique breakfast routine, each celebrity offers a glimpse into their health philosophies. Jennifer Garner emphasizes self-confidence, while Beyonce's rigorous stage prep is revealed. Dakota Johnson shares her diet strategy, and Ross Mathews narrates his weight loss journey. Fitness apps are Jessica Alba's go-to, while Robert Downey Jr. and Jennifer Aniston divulge their workout and fasting regimes. Rita Ora and Emma Roberts close the list, highlighting varied exercises and self-confidence insights.

1. Gwyneth Paltrow

Paltrow is vocal about her love of natural products. “Over the years, I’ve learned how important it is to read labels and know what’s in a product before putting anything in or on my body,” she said to W Magazine. “There can be so many unnecessary ingredients in products that we just don’t need, and even scarier, there are a lot of toxic, harmful ingredients that are masked by product marketing.

2. Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz is one of Paltrow’s close friends. She shared her diet secrets in an interview with Bon Appetit. “I’m a protein girl in the morning. That’s a big thing for me. A lot of my friends can't stomach breakfast, but I have a first and a second breakfast. At my first breakfast, I just put something in my stomach before my workout—usually scrambled eggs, toast, an avocado, an apple with almond butter, overnight oats, or a piece of chicken. It's just enough to kick things into gear. Then I work out. After that, at second breakfast, I joke that I eat dinner for breakfast. It's a full meal with chicken, grains, and sautéed or roasted vegetables.”

3. Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner is another close friend of Paltrow’s. Garner is all about having self-confidence. She shared her tips for building it with TODAY. "When you start getting super critical of yourself, turn around, pivot in that spot and go do something nice for someone else. Or go work out, or just take that and make it active instead of letting it just fester in you."

4. Beyonce

Beyonce and Paltrow are close friends. They are often seen hanging out, and Paltrow introduced Beyonce’s performance at the Grammys. The singer’s trainer, Marco Borges, shared her fitness secrets with Glamour. "I stretch B at the end of every workout. Sprints are ideal for building stamina and explosiveness. Which B needs to move across the stage.”

5. Dakota Johnson

New,York,,Ny,-,June,13,,2022:,Dakota,Johnson,AttendsShutterstock

Paltrow has become close friends with actress Dakota Johnson, due to the latter’s relationship with Chris Martin, Paltrow’s ex and the father of her children. Johnson works with trainer, Ramona Braganza, to help her stay in shape. To prep for Fifty Shades Freed, Braganza had Johnson try the 3-2-1 diet. “It’s just proportions, when to eat, smaller meals and more meals,” Braganza told Healthista. “So things like having three meals a day, two snacks and a minimum of one litre of water a day.”

6. Ross Mathews

Paltrow is close friends with Ross Mathews. She even wrote the backward to his book. Mathews opened up about his weight loss and diet changes to PageSix. “My choices are just like yummy, good, healthy food. I call them my 'rossipes,' and I cook every day. I broke up with pizza, and then I fell in love with the love of my life, my husband, and we just take really good care of each other.”

7. Jessica Alba

Paltrow is close with Jessica Alba, and the two filmed an episode of Carpool Karaoke together. Alba shared with Marie Claire that she uses fitness apps to help her stay in shape. “I downloaded a few apps and I'll watch YouTube videos of different fitness folks. So I signed up to [the Equinox+] app and they do meditation, they do yoga, strength training. They have all those things and you can keep track of your health."

8. Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr. and Paltrow play love interests in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Downey Jr.’s trainer, Brad Bose, shared how he stays in shape to play Iron Man in an interview. “We’d do intervals on the Perfect Storm, hitting his major muscle groups from loads of different angles, then finish up with a climb on a Jacob’s Ladder – an inclined climbing treadmill to improve cardio.”

9. Jennifer Aniston

Paltrow’s close friend, Jennifer Aniston, revealed to Insider that she loves intermittent fasting. "I noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours,” Aniston explained. “Fortunately, your sleeping hours are counted as part of the fasting period. You just have to delay breakfast until 10am."

10. Rita Ora

Another of Paltrow’s close friends is singer and TV host, Rita Ora. She tells Shape that she does a variety of exercises to keep herself in shape. “I usually work out for one or two hours, depending on how much time I have. I do three circuits and repeat that three times. I mostly focus on my thighs and my bum, so I do a lot of squats and weight lifting. And I do one circuit of cardio.”

11. Emma Roberts

Emma Roberts and Paltrow recently saw each other at a party. Roberts opened up about her journey with self-confidence to Shape. “I used to have a complex about being short,” Roberts says. “Now I love that I’m 5’ 2". I’m strong, and that feels really good to me. I believe we are all innately confident. I believe we lose touch with ourselves and let other people’s opinions and thoughts get louder than our own."

Discover how these actresses blend fitness, nutrition, and self-care into their lives and see why their routines are as captivating as their performances.

Kaley Cuoco

Kaley Cuoco played Penny for the entire series’ run. She makes sure to workout on a regular basis. “You never leave a workout and go, ‘I wish I didn’t do that,’” she told TODAY. “Even if it wasn’t the workout you envisioned, even if it it was a little bit more low-key. Getting a good sweat sets the whole tone for the day.”

Melissa Rauch

Melissa Rauch played Bernadette Rostenkowski from the third season onward. She shared some of her favorite foods to cook with in an interview with Parade. “Lots of whole grains, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Something that’s not in the book that I make a ton is stir-fries with tofu. That’s also quick and easy. It's tofu-based, but not necessarily tofu. Have you heard of Shirataki noodles? House Foods also makes them. They’re so great and kids think that they are eating spaghetti. It’s also got protein and is healthy for them. I love that.”

Mayim Bialik

Mayim Bialik played Amy Farrah Fowler from the third season on. She is open about being a vegan. Bialik shared some of her favorite foods in an interview with The Beet. “Carrots are my go-to, any fruit really: grapes and berries are easiest. A handful of nuts. And air-popped popcorn! And Boba non-dairy milk tea.”

Christine Baranski

Christine Baranski played the recurring role of Beverly Hofstader on the show. She talked about the importance of wellness in an interview with Parade. “Being a performer, you have to stay healthy, get your rest and be physically and vocally in shape. I’m not an exercise fanatic or terribly strict about my diet, but I eat well, sleep well and exercise. I just came from a Pilates class and, whenever I can, I power walk, take yoga or dance in my living room. When I have more time, I’d like to go back to my ballroom and Afro-Cuban dancing.”

Sara Gilbert

Sara Gilbert played Leslie Winkle on the series. In an interview with Prevention, she revealed that she is doing the Spread The Health challenge, which involves working out each day. “I've let exercise slide since having my third child, and I wanted to put it back into my schedule—to regain both the physical and emotional benefits. I decided 15 minutes a day would be a manageable goal. I found it was easiest to squeeze in a daily walk or jog, though one day I was able to do an hour of yoga.”

Alessandra Torresani

Alessandra Torresani played the recurring character Claire. She is open about her bipolar 1 diagnosis. Torresani talked about how she manages her mental health to 1 and 1 Life. “My husband and mother are so supportive. They help me with so much, and they are also extremely supportive. I have a daughter to live with for now, so when I need extra help, my mom and husband are there. I always use the analogy of if I was on a plane with multiple people. I have to put my oxygen mask on first, you know if I’m feeling on edge or if a manic episode is coming on.”

Lauren Lapkus

Lauren Lapkus played Denise on the last two seasons of the show. She talked about what inspired her to become an actor in an interview with We Live Entertainment. “When I was in high school, I started taking improv classes at Improv Olympic in Chicago. That was really the huge thing for me, where I started finding my voice comedically and figuring out how I would end up getting my dream of becoming an actor. I think that path can be so amorphous and hard to figure out when you have no connections to the industry. So at the time just doing improv was a great creative outlet. Then I could see that it led to things like Saturday Night Live or TV shows and the teacher that was there.”

Sara Rue

Sara Rue played Stephanie Barnett in season two. She opened up about how her diet and approach to eating changed in an interview with Cosmopolitan. “I used to zone out without even realizing I was overeating. Because I'd lose track of what I'd eaten, I'd feel like I hadn't had enough food. What really helped me was becoming a conscious eater. I became someone who really paid attention to what I was putting in my mouth. I think that awareness gives you perspective so you can go, ‘I don't need to eat that because I just had this.’ It becomes a reasonable dialogue in your head as opposed to unconscious zombie eating, which happens to a lot of people who are really busy and running from place to place or from job to job. When you really become conscious of what you're putting into your body, you want to make healthier choices for yourself. I didn't cut out any particular foods to lose weight, but I now eat a mostly plant-based diet.”

Riki Lindhome

Riki Lindhome had a recurring role as Ramona Nowitzki on the show. In an interview with The Times, she talked about her struggles with infertility, and how women shouldn’t feel ashamed about it. “Women are often made to feel it’s somehow their fault: they’re not taking enough supplements or they’re taking too many supplements. They’re not doing acupuncture or doing too much acupuncture; they’re not working hard enough at it or they’re working too hard. We are supposed to find this perfect Goldilocks balance in everything. And never be stressed, because that’s also your fault. In reality there’s so much we don’t know about fertility, why one pregnancy works and another one doesn’t, and no one should ever feel ashamed.”

Regina King

Regina King played the recurring character of Janine Davis beginning in season six. She shared the skincare advice she received from her mother and grandmother with Glamour. “My mother emphasized the importance of moisturizing, all the way from our scalp to our toes. We always oiled our scalps and were mindful of dryness—we were a family with humidifiers. Right after we'd get out of the shower, while our skin was still damp, we'd put on Vaseline or lotion. I know I sound like an ad, but I'm really dead serious. My grandmother seriously had the softest skin I ever felt in my life, and Vaseline was always in the house.”

Kate Micucci

Kate Micucci played the recurring role of Lucy on the show. She makes sure to eat a healthy diet. Micucci revealed in this Instagram post that she is growing her own oranges. She captioned it, “My first orange tree! When I was a kid in Pennsylvania I had a kumquat plant and I so wanted them to taste good but they were really bitter. Today’s oranges ... 💯 🍊”

2. Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz is Barrymore’s best friend. The two starred in the Charlie’s Angels film series. Diaz opened up about her diet in an interview with Bon Appetit. “Since my mid-30s, I've been conscientious about my eating and good nutrition. It's not really something I grew up with. 3. Lucy Liu

London,,United,Kingdom,-,March,07,,2023:,Lucy,Liu,AttendsShutterstock

In an interview with Women’s Health, Liu says that she doesn’t believe in following societal norms. “I do what I want according to how I feel,” she says. “I don’t have to fall into a social norm of ‘now you’re going to get married.’ No! Not because I’m rebelling against it. When it’s right, it’s going to be right. But I’m not going to do it for the sake of doing it. Marriage is not on my bucket list. I don’t have a bucket list.”

4. Kristen Wiig

Los,Angeles,-,Apr,26:,Kristen,Wiig,Arrives,For,CarolShutterstock

Barrymore’s friend, Kristen Wiig, shared her diet secrets in an interview with Women’s Health. “I'm a vegetarian; I eat a lot of tofu and soy. I drink a lot of water, and I'm addicted to cranberry juice. I do have a splurge day once a week when I can eat whatever I want. It's good, because it helps you stay on track the rest of the week. In the beginning, I ate anything I could see. But it's funny: The more you do it, the less you end up splurging."

5. Nancy Juvoven

Ross Mathews co-hosts The Drew Barrymore Show. He shared his weight loss secrets in an interview with Page Six. "I've lost like 60 pounds, but I've kept it [off] for like three years. Cooking myself. 8. Reese Witherspoon

9. Elliot Page

New,York,,Ny,-,June,4,,2019:,Ellen,Page,(elliotShutterstock

Barrymore’s friend, Elliot Page shared some of his favorite recipes with Men’s Health. "Probably my favorite thing to cook is a big spread of roasted vegetables of all kinds," he says. "Fennel, broccoli, cauliflower. Ummm. Japanese sweet potatoes, I love. And then brown rice, I love. And then I just kinda make some tofu in the pan, then steam or boil it—do you know kombu? Seaweed? You boil it, and then—this is funny—and then you mix it all in with some tahini or something, and then you roll it in the kombu. I’m telling you, it’s good."

New,York,,Ny,-,October,29,,2019:,Jennifer,Aniston,WearingShutterstock

Jennifer Aniston plays one of the lead characters, Alex Levy. She shared how she stays motivated to workout with Byrdie. "Sometimes I just don't [work out]. And that's entirely okay. And then sometimes I say, Just do 10 minutes or 15 minutes. Then when I do those, when I really make myself, which is most of the time, you can do a 15-minute class, and then you're like, 'Okay, I feel pretty amazing. I'm going to do a different 15 minutes.' And then I do it. And then by the end of it, you realize you've done three, four classes, and you feel amazing."

2. Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon plays the other lead role, Bradley Jackson. She shared her skincare secrets with Harper’s Bazaar. “I believe just the importance of taking off your makeup every night, moisturizing your skin, and sunscreen! 3. Mark Duplass

Mark Duplass, who plays Chip Black, shared his typical diet with Bon Appetit. “Breakfast is like my diet portion of the day, because I still have my self control about me. It's usually something like two hard-boiled eggs and yogurt, or a bowl of bran cereal with low-fat milk. It's the monk diet breakfast.”

4. Julianna Margulies

Los,Angeles,-,Jun,07:,Julianna,Margulies,Arrives,For,TheShutterstock

Julianna Margulies plays Laura Peterson. She shared her secrets for working out consistently with TODAY. “Some days it’s hard to get going. But it makes me feel better. It makes my mind feel calm and rested. The rest of my day is a piece of a cake if I’ve gone to the gym. Yesterday I took my dog for a two hour walk. I need to do that.”

5. Gugu Mbatha-Raw

New,York,,Ny,-,July,25,,2022:,Gugu,Mbatha-raw,WearingShutterstock

Gugu Mbatha-Raw plays Hannah Shoenfeld. She talked about her approach to beauty in an interview with ELLE. “I definitely feel more comfortable with beauty now than when I was younger, maybe because I feel more confident in myself and more established in my career. As an actor I think beauty can be a bit of a double edged sword; I want to be able to play characters that are flawed and messy and human, you have to be unafraid to be not beautiful, you have to be bold enough to be real as well, and I think there's beauty in that authenticity. But, I also work in an industry that celebrates beauty and is, by its nature, a visual medium.”

6. Jon Hamm

Shutterstock

In season three, Jon Hamm joined the cast as Paul Marks. He shared some of his favorite workouts with Men’s Journal. “I snowboard and ski and do all kinds of stupid shit. But I also don’t go crazy. When I ski, I’ll go into the moguls and immediately think, ‘Oh, yeah, there’s a reason I don’t do this. I’m bad at it.’”

7. Karen Pittman

New,York,,Ny,-,July,11,,2022:,Karen,Pittman,AttendsShutterstock

Karen Pittman plays Mia Jordan on the show. She shared the changes she made to her fitness routine with New Beauty. “I think one of the things that I figured out during my work time was that I don’t love the big gym experience with the gym membership and tons of people and exercise machines all around. I switched to a much smaller workout gym in Los Angeles called SLAY Gym. I work with Eric Strangis, who’s my trainer. I also found that I really need yoga, and I love to sweat in hot yoga. Overall, I wanted a more curated experience as far as self-care is concerned. When I made my exercise experience smaller, special and more curated, it became a lot more enriching to me.”

8. Bel Powley

Los,Angeles,-,Oct,14:,Bel,Powley,Arrives,For,TheShutterstock

Bel Powley played Claire Conway on the show’s first two seasons. She shared her skincare secrets with Vogue. “It’s nice to have a skincare routine in the morning. Even if I just cleanse my face and put on two different serums — or moisturiser and do a bit of gua sha — taking that time to look after yourself is comforting and grounding. In the same way, cooking for yourself can also be a form of self-care. I try to eat healthy stuff. Even if you just feel like making your favourite pasta dish, some homemade pesto can make you feel good. I like the ritualistic side to it.”

Greta Lee joined the show as Stella Bak in the second season. She revealed to Grubstreet.com that she does things to improve her metabolism. “Lunch was a Shake Shack burger because I read somewhere that you have to shock your body’s metabolism with trans fats. I want Shake Shack to be In-n-Out, but it’s not. It’s the closest thing to that West Coast burger, though, so I go there. I have to reengineer it a little bit. I have to ask to make sure they put in pickles and raw onions.”

It continues to get easier, but I keep fighting. I tried to evict the bitchy roommate, but she claimed squatter’s rights. She gets a little loud from time to time, but for the most part I just ignore her. And at the end of the day, I’m still here. So I think it’s pretty clear who won this round. Never stop fighting for yourself, no matter what form that takes. Choose you, choose life, choose happiness. You’re worth fighting for.”

Then maybe Italian for dinner. . . I like taste sensations in my mouth."

Also, don't tell my brother, I do yoga. I'm a fairly stocky guy, so I like doing things that use my own body weight to keep off added bulk. The psychological element has also been life-changing for me.”

Los,Angeles,-,Nov,12:,Maria,Menounos,Arrives,For,Baby2babyShutterstock

TV host Maria Menounos is a close friend of Cuoco’s. She revealed to People that her diet and workout is dependent on what outfit she has to wear for an event. “If I have a dress with a high slit, I’ll work more on my legs, but I’m always active so I don’t [do anything differently]. I have been working out with a trainer for the last few weeks because I really want to build my upper body. The amount of weights I’m doing I can’t do by myself. For me anything over 10 lbs. is a lot for me! I’ve gotten up to 25 lbs.”

People DM me about the best facialist, the best cream I’ve tried, a mask I was wearing. When I wake up, I brush my teeth, have my coffee, and put sunscreen on before I leave. When I turned 40, I became really excessive about putting sunscreen on my face. I think it’s something people don’t really do, but here you have to do it, do it, do it.”

Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Kim French in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Real Results" Workout

Learn how she sculpts her powerhouse physique with deadlifts, lunges, squats, and more.

Kim French is more than just a personal trainer—she’s a fitness coach who empowers thousands through her Believe App and Instagram workouts. Known for her structured, effective home training plans, she proves that you don’t need a gym full of heavy weights to build serious strength.

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

French is seen doing hamstring curls in her Instagram post. According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
