Kaley Cuoco

Kaley Cuoco played Penny for the entire series’ run. She makes sure to workout on a regular basis. “You never leave a workout and go, ‘I wish I didn’t do that,’” she told TODAY. “Even if it wasn’t the workout you envisioned, even if it it was a little bit more low-key. Getting a good sweat sets the whole tone for the day.”

Melissa Rauch

Melissa Rauch played Bernadette Rostenkowski from the third season onward. She shared some of her favorite foods to cook with in an interview with Parade. “Lots of whole grains, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Something that’s not in the book that I make a ton is stir-fries with tofu. That’s also quick and easy. It's tofu-based, but not necessarily tofu. Have you heard of Shirataki noodles? House Foods also makes them. They’re so great and kids think that they are eating spaghetti. It’s also got protein and is healthy for them. I love that.”

Mayim Bialik

Mayim Bialik played Amy Farrah Fowler from the third season on. She is open about being a vegan. Bialik shared some of her favorite foods in an interview with The Beet. “Carrots are my go-to, any fruit really: grapes and berries are easiest. A handful of nuts. And air-popped popcorn! And Boba non-dairy milk tea.”

Christine Baranski

Christine Baranski arrives to the 2025 National Board of Review Gala.

Christine Baranski played the recurring role of Beverly Hofstader on the show. She talked about the importance of wellness in an interview with Parade. “Being a performer, you have to stay healthy, get your rest and be physically and vocally in shape. I’m not an exercise fanatic or terribly strict about my diet, but I eat well, sleep well and exercise. I just came from a Pilates class and, whenever I can, I power walk, take yoga or dance in my living room. When I have more time, I’d like to go back to my ballroom and Afro-Cuban dancing.”

Sara Gilbert

Sara Gilbert played Leslie Winkle on the series. In an interview with Prevention, she revealed that she is doing the Spread The Health challenge, which involves working out each day. “I've let exercise slide since having my third child, and I wanted to put it back into my schedule—to regain both the physical and emotional benefits. I decided 15 minutes a day would be a manageable goal. I found it was easiest to squeeze in a daily walk or jog, though one day I was able to do an hour of yoga.”

Alessandra Torresani

Alessandra Torresani played the recurring character Claire. She is open about her bipolar 1 diagnosis. Torresani talked about how she manages her mental health to 1 and 1 Life. “My husband and mother are so supportive. They help me with so much, and they are also extremely supportive. I have a daughter to live with for now, so when I need extra help, my mom and husband are there. I always use the analogy of if I was on a plane with multiple people. I have to put my oxygen mask on first, you know if I’m feeling on edge or if a manic episode is coming on.”

Lauren Lapkus

Lauren Lapkus played Denise on the last two seasons of the show. She talked about what inspired her to become an actor in an interview with We Live Entertainment. “When I was in high school, I started taking improv classes at Improv Olympic in Chicago. That was really the huge thing for me, where I started finding my voice comedically and figuring out how I would end up getting my dream of becoming an actor. I think that path can be so amorphous and hard to figure out when you have no connections to the industry. So at the time just doing improv was a great creative outlet. Then I could see that it led to things like Saturday Night Live or TV shows and the teacher that was there.”

Sara Rue

Sara Rue played Stephanie Barnett in season two. She opened up about how her diet and approach to eating changed in an interview with Cosmopolitan. “I used to zone out without even realizing I was overeating. Because I'd lose track of what I'd eaten, I'd feel like I hadn't had enough food. What really helped me was becoming a conscious eater. I became someone who really paid attention to what I was putting in my mouth. I think that awareness gives you perspective so you can go, ‘I don't need to eat that because I just had this.’ It becomes a reasonable dialogue in your head as opposed to unconscious zombie eating, which happens to a lot of people who are really busy and running from place to place or from job to job. When you really become conscious of what you're putting into your body, you want to make healthier choices for yourself. I didn't cut out any particular foods to lose weight, but I now eat a mostly plant-based diet.”

Riki Lindhome

Riki Lindhome had a recurring role as Ramona Nowitzki on the show. In an interview with The Times, she talked about her struggles with infertility, and how women shouldn’t feel ashamed about it. “Women are often made to feel it’s somehow their fault: they’re not taking enough supplements or they’re taking too many supplements. They’re not doing acupuncture or doing too much acupuncture; they’re not working hard enough at it or they’re working too hard. We are supposed to find this perfect Goldilocks balance in everything. And never be stressed, because that’s also your fault. In reality there’s so much we don’t know about fertility, why one pregnancy works and another one doesn’t, and no one should ever feel ashamed.”

Regina King

Regina King played the recurring character of Janine Davis beginning in season six. She shared the skincare advice she received from her mother and grandmother with Glamour. “My mother emphasized the importance of moisturizing, all the way from our scalp to our toes. We always oiled our scalps and were mindful of dryness—we were a family with humidifiers. Right after we'd get out of the shower, while our skin was still damp, we'd put on Vaseline or lotion. I know I sound like an ad, but I'm really dead serious. My grandmother seriously had the softest skin I ever felt in my life, and Vaseline was always in the house.”

I think it’s, for me, that’s something that I’m a big, um, advocate of, but also it’s something that I think collectively, you know, coming off the last couple years, we’ve all had boughs with. It’s a really important conversation, and so I couldn’t have been more thrilled or honored to be picked for this particular project, and be part of it. I’ve had some friends who’ve dealt with some pretty intense mental health stuff, and I think that definitely helped in that way.”

Aimee Teegarden has starred in Hallmark projects like Autumn In The City and My Family Christmas Tree. She shared her process for acting with Nylon Magazine. “As an actor, you do as much research as you possibly can, you create these characters, you rehearse, you shoot, and then you kind of just have to, you know, let it go. It’s one of those things, it’s like your creation, your baby, and then you kind of just got to send it out into the world and know that you gave 110 percent, and if it doesn’t find its market or audience, you kind of have to let that go and not let that shadow your next project.”

I think Hallmark does a great job in having these films inspire people and let them have a few hours of pure joy and happiness.”

Ashley Williams has starred in the Sister Swap film series, Northern Light of Christmas, and Love On A Limb. She notably wrote about her miscarriage in an essay with Medium. “Years before giving birth, I went to a small village in Bangladesh by myself and used chalk to diagram the reproductive system to indigenous women in burkas because I believed that saying the word ‘vagina’ out loud might encourage them to seek medical treatment for their yeast infections, UTIs, and prolapses. My goal was to normalize the words so that they might be able to communicate more freely. Now, I stand here in front of you, chalk in hand, needing to normalize my miscarriage. And I’d love to hear about yours. I believe this it will allow me — and us — to gather hope and strength.”

Baking is my zen, ME-TIME activity. So, at least I get positive endorphins from that... in addition to a satisfied sweet tooth, haha. I also pawn baked-goods off on my cast a lot. I'll bake cookies or muffins and bring them to the show (so I don't eat them all at home! And then, my cast loves me, too!)”

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
