Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek has amazing skin, and she shared her secret with ELLE. "I use an ingredient called tepezcohuite that's used in Mexico for burn victims because it completely regenerates the skin," she explained. "There's no one in the States who is using this ingredient except for us. Some of the ingredients, when I took them to the American labs, they were like 'Oh my god! How come nobody is using this?' This is why I have no Botox, no peels, no fillings. I'm 48. I will be 49 this year and I only use my creams."

Penelope Cruz

Hayek and Penelope Cruz are best friends. Cruz shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with ELLE Canada. "I get enough sleep and exercise. I also practise Transcendental Meditation; I did it for years in my 20s, and it really helped me. An occasional long massage is also great."

Angelina Jolie

Hayek and Angelina Jolie are good friends. The two starred in the 2021 Marvel movie, Eternals. Jolie is an outspoken advocate for several causes, and she talked about this with The Guardian. "I don't think I came into this business because I wanted to be an actor," she revealed. "I came into it because that's where you could have a voice. When you have somebody who controls the finances and controls the family narrative because they are public, you're all under that person."

Channing Tatum

Hayek worked with Channing Tatum on the third film of the Magic Mike series, and the two developed a close friendship. Tatum revealed in this Instagram post that he does a lot of ocean swimming to keep himself in shape. "I have done all kinds of bullshit to get in or stay in shape," he wrote in the caption. "Almost everything you can think of. And I have to say nothing yet has been more suffocating and exhausting and effective than freestyle wrestling or open ocean water swimming."

Reese Witherspoon

Hayek and Reese Witherspoon are close friends. Witherspoon talked about her wellness secrets with Harper's Bazaar. In the interview, she shared how she unwinds after a busy day. "I listen to, like, relaxing music that really sets the mood for bed. It's either, like, scrolling through TikTok or reading a book, and I find reading a book much more beneficial for my mental health. Reading really is like a relaxation technique for me. It takes me to another place. I'm thinking about these characters. I get very immersed in their world. And everything else kind of fades away."

Linda Evangelista

One of Hayek's best friends is supermodel Linda Evangelista. The model talked about her Sunday routine to Harper's Bazaar, and included her skincare secrets. "My beauty routine is almost the same every single day, but of course on the weekend you have more time to enjoy some whims. Sunday is such a great day to end the week and prepare for the next, so I make it as relaxing as possible."

Antonio Banderas

Hayek has known Antonio Banderas for over 20 years. They have worked on several films together, notably the Puss In Boots franchise. In an interview on The Today Show, Banderas showed his appreciation for Hayek. "She's a real friend. Every time that we've been working together, immediately there is a chemistry that is very difficult to explain. I don't want to intellectualize it. It just happens, and it's great."

Gemma Chan

Hayek worked with Gemma Chan on the film Eternals. Chan opened up about her go-to workout to British Vogue. "It's a blend of yoga, sun salutations, and a little bit of Pilates core work. It only takes about 10 minutes but I find that if I do that in the morning, it sets me up for the day ahead and my posture is better."

Ryan Reynolds

Hayek worked with Ryan Reynolds on the 2017 film, The Hitman's Bodyguard, and the 2021 sequel, The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard. Reynolds' trainer, Don Saladino, talked about the actor's diet to Men's Health. "We introduced carbohydrates and I think that's when his physique changed. Sweet potato is one of his favourite carbohydrates. He'd do oatmeal and protein in the morning. Brown rice and a little bit of fruit. His body became the best it has ever been when he started consuming carbs; it gave his body the energy it needed to start looking the way he wanted to start looking."

Lady Gaga

Hayek worked with Lady Gaga on the 2021 film, House of Gucci. The singer tells E! News that she's all about self-care. "It gives me an extra boost of confidence. I feel I'm able to brave whatever is coming my way because I've really taken time for myself."

Adam Driver

Hayek also worked with Adam Driver on House of Gucci. Driver also plays Kylo Ren in the Star Wars series, and works with trainer Simon Waterson to keep himself in shape. Waterson talked about working with the actor to Men's Journal. "There is no doubt Adam's military career came through in our workouts," he said. "I didn't have to push Adam to go hard. He had all of that motivation. It was more about slowing him down."
