Indian actress Amyra Dastur is showing fans what a typical strength training workout looks like for the star. Dastur, 31, shared a video of herself wearing a variety of workout gear, going through different workouts at the gym using weights and machines. She also does mat exercises using a medicine ball, and barbell lifts under the eye of a personal trainer. “A little #mondaymotivation 🦾,” she captioned the post. Dastur refers to herself as a “fitness freak”—here’s what her diet, exercise, and wellness regimen looks like.

1. Running and Stretching

Dastur does strength training, cardio, and stretching most days of the week. “I work out almost every day. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are my leg days,” she told ELLE. “I start my session with 15 minutes of cardio on the treadmill with high-intensity jogging and then mix ab exercises and leg exercises. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, I work on my upper body. After my workouts, I spend at least 15-20 minutes stretching to cool my body down and ensure my muscles don’t get stiff and tight the next day. It takes me about an hour or two to work out.”

2. Dance and Diet

Dastur incorporates regular dance classes into her workout routine. “I hit the gym in the morning and go for a dance class in the evening,” she told IndulgeExpress. “I’m also a big foodie. So I eat all I want but in a minimum quantity and also make sure to sweat it out in the gym.”

3. Good Skin From Within

Dastur has a holistic approach to beauty and wellness. “I believe in good skin from within,” she told ELLE. “I get a cleanse done every three months and flush out my stomach. A clean stomach allows better absorption of nutrients, and it helps with good skin. [My biggest beauty indulgence is] definitely my creams and makeup products. I buy the best, as it is my face that earns me my projects and brands. I am a skincare junkie and always on the lookout for new launches. I even have LED face masks at home.”

4. Not a Nepo Baby

Dastur had to fight her way to success, unlike some artists she believed had an advantage from their family name. “There was definitely a lot of rejection,” she told IndulgeExpress. “When you see a star kid has a film just because of their second name, it hurts. My biggest lesson has been to move on. You learn, improve and focus on what you want to do,”

5. Learning To Love Herself

Dastur is passionate about living an authentic life. “It takes time and a lot of mental strength to accept yourself for who you are,” she told ELLE. “Especially today with filters and apps that make you look different. I’ve learnt to love myself, and it’s been a struggle. A girl's body changes with time and your mindset has to change with it, or you will never be happy… You should look like the same person in real life as on your social media. I enjoy experimenting, but not to the point where it doesn’t look like me at all.”

Rukmini Maitra is an actress. She is known for her roles in films like Chaamp, Sanak, and Kishmish. Maitra recently hit the studio to do some aerial yoga. She shared some photos and videos on Instagram of herself doing poses in the silks. Maitra captioned the post, “Sunday Motivation: Just Hang in There, Life will eventually strike the balance!” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Rukmini Maitra stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Became Motivated To Workout

In an interview with Telegraph India, Maitra said that her boyfriend, Dev, helped her get interested in fitness. “I only started working out after Sanak. And more than Vidyut I would say that when I got Covid in Mumbai, I understood the importance of being fit. And of course it is inspiring to work with someone who literally looks as if he is carved out of stone (laugh). Dev also is a fitness freak. So I was shooting with someone who is iconic in Bengal and someone who is known for his fitness in Mumbai.”

2. She Does Multiple Workouts

Healthy,Smiling,Brunette,Woman,Wearing,Leotard,Practicing,Pilates,In,BrightShutterstock

In her Telegraph India interview, Maitra talked about how her fitness changed after shooting a project. She says that she does different workouts. “Three months I couldn’t do anything, not even yoga. I did a lot of Pilates, I have weak knees and since I have a couple of action sequences, I had to strengthen my muscles. Then a lot of weight training I did.” UniversityHospitals.org states that variety is important when it comes to fitness. “By creating variation and changing exercises in your routine, you can create a new stimulus, which creates more progress over time. And if you rotate exercises or activity every so often, your injury risk will decrease. Examples include adding bench pressing every Monday or continuously adding mileage when running or biking on a weekly basis.”

3. She Loves Rice

Food,Background,With,Three,Rows,Of,Rice,Varieties,:,BrownShutterstock

In an interview with Telly Chakkar, Maitra revealed that she eats a lot of rice. “I know there are girls who work really hard to be thin, and some even stop eating rice, but they don’t know that rice gives certain glow to the skin and hair.” Colorado State University states that rice has a lot of benefits. “Rice is a rich source of carbohydrates, the body’s main fuel source. Carbohydrates can keep you energized and satisfied, and are important for fueling exercise. Brown rice, especially, is an excellent source of many nutrients, including fiber, manganese, selenium, magnesium, and B vitamins. Dietary Guidelines suggest that at least half of your grains be from whole grains, and brown rice is considered a whole grain.”

4. She Hikes

Maitra loves to go hiking. Even in the snow. She shared these photos on Instagram of herself hiking the snowy Tissot Peak Walk. Maitra captioned the post, “Nothing special to see here…Just chilling.” According to Piedmont Healthcare, hiking has a lot of benefits. “Like most cardio exercises, hiking helps reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and even some cancers. Hiking is a weight-bearing exercise, which builds muscle mass and helps prevent osteoporosis. Hiking can help you manage your weight.”

5. She Does Yoga

As you can see from her recent post, Maitra loves to practice yoga. The University of Rochester reports that yoga has a lot of health benefits. “Yoga's gentle movements are a big reason for why it’s so popular. Yoga is good for people who haven't been active in a while. It’s good for people who have certain health conditions like arthritis or osteoporosis. You can change the exercises to fit your needs. But yoga is also great if you're already fit and want a challenging workout. As you become more strong and flexible with yoga, it's easier to do other kinds of exercise like dancing, walking, or swimming.”

2. She Eats Healthy

Strijd makes sure to eat healthy. She shared her typical diet with HollywoodLife. “Breakfast is toast with avocado and an egg then I’ll probably have a snack around 11, like a nice piece of fruit. Lunch is mostly a good carb, like brown rice with chicken or salmon and some vegetables and then I’ll have a juice in the afternoon. 3. She Works Out A Lot Before A Job

Whenever Strijd has a big job, like a fashion show, she makes sure to do a lot of workouts leading up to it. “I don’t really cut out any food,” she tells HollywoodLife. “I workout more often so I really need food to build some muscle. I definitely amp up my workouts and workout around 5 days a week for one and a half hours a day.”

She shared her secrets for staying motivated in her interview with ELLE. “I’m not always motivated, but you just have to go do it because afterwards you feel so great and you enjoy the day more because you’ve done it. So, just start somewhere. Just do something. Say to yourself that you only have 15 minutes or something and then it comes from there.”

Fitness influencer Massy Arias is sharing some Monday motivation for her 2.9 million Instagram followers. Arias, 34, posted pictures of herself wearing purple two-piece workout gear, posing behind a barbell. “Because Mondays are meant to be crushed. Save this one for later. Here are three movements I’ve been playing around with lately to increase my mobility, strength, balance, prevent injury, and have some fun. There are many different ways to make progress when it comes to movement. While most people focus on progressive overload and volume when it comes to challenging their fitness level and progressing on their journeys, this isn’t the only route,” she captioned the post. Here’s how this fitness guru stays happy, healthy, and strong.

1. Morning Workouts

Arias gets her own workout done first thing so she can tend to her clients. “My day starts at 5:30 in the morning. I have a green tea and I get ready to go to the gym,” she told The Cut. “I might have a smoothie, then go and get my workout done. I am behind a computer for a couple of hours, and then doing work with all of my clients. I do a meal prep every Sunday so my food is ready for me. I used to eat out a lot, and realized I was spending tons of money. Meal prepping is not as hard as people think — you just have to have a system.”

2. Fruit-Infused Water

Summer,Fresh,Fruit,Flavored,Infused,Water,Of,Lemon,And,LavenderShutterstock

Arias says she drinks probably a gallon of water a day. “But it’s all about your activity levels,” she told The Cut. “When I say a gallon, that includes if I have a protein shake or I make a smoothie. On a resting day I might do three liters. I infuse my waters, so it might be cucumber and cilantro, which is a purifier, or I might do orange peel with strawberry and mint, or ginger.”

3. Advice For Women

Arias’ advice to women chasing their dreams is to always have integrity. “Don’t give up on your big goal once things get tough because I didn’t,” she told Create & Cultivate. “The tougher it got for me, the more I learned how to navigate the things that today are easy for me to accomplish. I have never lowered my standards and I haven’t lost integrity to get the things I’ve wanted in my career. Too many people fall short and lower their standards for the things they want at the moment not realizing they are compromising their goals. Look at the big picture and don’t settle for less.”

4. Mental Health Support

Arias’ workout regimen is important for her mental as well as physical health. “From the beginning, I saw exercise as the only thing to put me in a right state of mind,” she told The Cut. “It took me a while to change my lifestyle. It didn’t come right away, but the more I did it, the more I challenged myself, the more I went out of my comfort zone, the more I really pushed myself, it gave me a sense of excitement. This fitness lifestyle is not only about looking good and feeling good mentally; it also gives you so much structure. I just try to do better than I was doing the day before, and have short-term goals every week that are achievable and sustainable.”

5. She’s a Superwoman

Motherhood has been transformative for Arias. “Since having my daughter I’ve learned I’m a superwoman,” she told Create & Cultivate. “I did something amazing that took close to 10 months, it’s going to take time to feel like myself and look the same way I used to before her. I love my body even more because it was the body that helped me bring my daughter into the world. Every aspect of my life and even I have changed since giving birth to Indi. I have become a better trainer, daughter, and wife. I can relate to a whole new 'hood' I’ve never been able to relate with; motherhood and parenthood.”

The coach and well-known bodybuilder, Anya Nicholson, focuses on her mental and physical strength. “Monday motivation & dues paid. 🤘🏼 This year has shown me that through trial and tribulation that I am stronger than I think and capable of achieving my goals no matter the adversity. No matter how far the journey may seem or the work that needs to be put in to achieve your goals, you can do it. You are capable. And more importantly, you are enough. It all starts upstairs with a strong mindset and a team behind you to support the acquisition of dreams. #keepworking #headdown #countingblessings,” she said on Instagram. Here are some habits she prioritizes to keep her health in a good place.

1. She’s proud of her growth

She continues to grow and celebrates that. “#transformationtuesday the glow up 🌱✨One of my favorite parts of this journey has been the growth compiled over years of practice. If there’s one thing that bodybuilding has instilled in me, it’s the discipline to do the hard things day in and day out that propel you to the next level version of yourself. Time. Hard work. Dedication. Passion. Faith in the process. Always a student to the game,” she said on Instagram.

2. She works her glutes

In a video of her working out her glutes, she posted “Thursday evenings glute work 🍑💪🏼,” on Instagram. "Strong gluteals are important for proper pelvic alignment, propulsion during walking and running, and even standing on one leg. Gluteals also help support the lower back during lifting, and help prevent knee injuries,” according to Amy Koch, MPT, COMT Methodist Physical Therapist from this article on bestcare.org.

3. She works her upper body

She works her upper body, as seen in these video clips captioned, “back to biz with delts and applying feedback,” on Instagram. According to the Mayo Clinic, “by stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.” Continue strengthening your body like Nicholson!

4. She’s positive

She maintains a positive mindset. “Setting the tone 🖤💪🏼 #tunnelvision It feels like it’s been ages since the last time I prepped and stepped on stage, embracing this journey and all that it has in store. The one thing I LOVE about bodybuilding is that it’s a great teacher of delayed gratification.,” she said on Instagram.

5. She always aims to improve

In a series of clips of her working hard in the gym, weightlifting and strength training, she said on Instagram, “never stop reinventing yourself. 🖤💪🏼.” According to the Mayo Clinic, “strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

Kristin Cavallari is a reality TV and fashion icon. Since she debuted on Laguna Beach, people have clamoured for her fashion and beauty secrets. Cavallari recently shared her eye makeup secrets on Instagram, after several people asked for them. She captioned the post, “This is for the girlies in my DMs asking about this eye every time I do it. Sorry the lighting is awful. I also don’t know why the audio isn’t in sync for half of it 🫣 but here ya go 💗”

She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Kristin Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Krisitn Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. It's committing to the life you want, without running away from the work that it entails. It's building freedom every day, with conscious choices and, mainly, with the acceptance that freedom is not the absence of limits, but the autonomy to know which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Being free is being willing to carry the weight of your own life and still find it funny.”

She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”

Brandi Glanville has never been one to hold back, whether on reality TV or her unfiltered podcast. Best known for her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the US and UK versions of Celebrity Big Brother, and The Traitors, Glanville always speaks her mind. Her podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, recently stirred up some drama when she called out Real Housewives stars for struggling on The Traitors and suggested the show stop casting them. Many fans saw this as subtle shade toward Phaedra Parks, who excelled in the previous season.

Beyond the headlines, Glanville has shared glimpses into her personal wellness routine, from skincare secrets to unconventional self-care methods. Here’s a look at how she stays feeling and looking her best.

She Uses Eye Patches

One thing that Glanville does to take care of her skin is use under-eye patches. In this Instagram post, she revealed the brand she used on Celebrity Big Brother. Glanville captioned it, “One of the #1 questions we get from fans since leaving #bigbrother is what brand of under eye patches were we wearing constantly on the show...The answer is @peterthomasrothofficial!! They are amaze! #ThanksMarissa 💋 (Blogging about all the products, will be posting on @bbeautyunfltrd soon).”

She Walks

Brandi is seen walking her dog

Brandi Glanville/Instagram

Glanville likes to walk her dogs to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her pup walking in Los Angeles. Glanville captioned the post, “On our way to do some podcasting.” Harvard Health says that walking is very beneficial. “Walking can help protect you during cold and flu season. A study of over 1,000 men and women found that those who walked at least 20 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, had 43% fewer sick days than those who exercised once a week or less. And if they did get sick, it was for a shorter duration, and their symptoms were milder.”

She Has A Dog

As you can see from the previous Instagram post, Glanville has pet dogs. And according to Harvard Health, this can be beneficial. “A growing body of solid research shows that owning a dog can: provide companionship, help you be more active, make kids calmer, more secure, and more responsible, improve the lives of older individuals, help you be calmer, more mindful, and more present in your life, make you more social and less isolated, ease stress.”

She Worked With A Breath Coach

Glanville revealed to Us Weekly that she works with a breath coach to help with her mental health. “I’m still doing cosmetic stuff, but at the same time trying to fix myself. I eat better and breathe and actually exercise. I’m getting there. I just started with this journey, but I can actually do things. My body can do things now that I couldn’t do five years ago.”

She Uses CellSound

Glanville revealed to People that she used the CellSound treatment on her stomach. "I mean, to be honest, I haven't worn a crop top in years, and I literally feel comfortable going out in a crop top, which is so bizarre," she says. "Not that I feel like everyone should do that, but I can go work out with a crop top on and not feel like I have my mommy stomach and I shouldn't sit down. So it's definitely empowered me in that aspect."
