Dragoi opened up about her career in an interview with USA Wire. “Finding my career path was a journey of embracing fear and taking risks. I learned to trust my instincts and make decisions that felt right, even if they seemed daunting at first. Moving abroad alone was a pivotal moment for me, helping me rediscover my true passions and aspirations and then never stopping chasing them.”

She Wants To Make A Difference

Dragoi has a large platform, and she wants to put it to good use. “The most rewarding aspect of my career is undoubtedly the opportunity to inspire others and make a positive impact,” she said to USA Wire. “Whether it’s through my achievements in swimming, modeling on prestigious runways, or using my title to advocate for important causes, knowing that I can make a difference in the lives of others brings me immense joy and fulfillment.”

She Works Hard

Dragoi makes sure to work hard in life. She tells USA Wire that this is one of the reasons she is so successful. “To be successful as a swimmer and model, it takes discipline, determination, and a strong belief in oneself. Both fields require hard work and resilience, but the rewards are worth it. It’s important to stay focused on your goals, have a positive and strong mindset, never give up, and always believe in your abilities.”

She Overcomes Challenges

1. She Swims

The main way Andreea stays in shape is via swimming. Even if you don’t compete, recreational swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.

2. She Hits the Gym

Andreea also hits the gym to keep her body honed. “Messed around and got addicted,” she captioned this post of herself at the gym. Physical activity is anything that gets your body moving. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.

3. She Does Yoga

Andreea also does yoga. “Let me turn your world upside down,” she captioned a post, showing off her moves. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

4. She Believes In Herself

“It’s very important to believe in yourself,” Dragoi told San Jose State Spartans when asked what advice she would give a younger person. “Never give up on the challenges you face in life because all dreams can come true. I competed in two competitions, I qualified for the European Junior Championships and the World Championships and I did really well on my IB exams. It’s all possible.”

5. She Wakes Up Early

The early bird gets the worm, according to Andreea. She told San Jose State Spartans that her alarm goes off at 4 am every day so she can start training.

Andriani broke down her wellness secrets in an interview with Telly Chakkar. She says that she does a lot of different exercises. She also says that she continued her fitness during the pandemic. “I’m walking, practicing yoga and following various workouts on YouTube, sometimes functional, sometimes weight lifting.”

2. She Eats Healthy

Andriani is a pretty healthy eater. She tells IwmBuzz.com some of her diet secrets. “I have healthy food as a lifestyle and I am a vegetarian. I constantly try to keep a low carbs intake, but wouldn’t call myself a diet person. This is my lifestyle, I have never weighed my ingredients." "A vegetarian diet can be a loose term. Oftentimes, people choose certain foods that come from animal products that they choose to abstain from and may include others. Vegetarian diets have been shown to be very heart healthy. They generally are lower in saturated fat than traditional unrestricted diets and they do tend to be a little higher in fiber when followed properly," says Julia Zumpano, RD, LD to the Cleveland Clinic.

3. She’s Inspired By Healthy People

Andriani tells IwmBuzz.com that she looks to others to inspire her. She says that people who stay healthy and in shape are her biggest inspirations. “I can say I’m inspired by those who stay healthy and grow older and fitter, as they’re a big motivation and give me hope that when years go by I’ll still look better and better. Like Suniel Shetty for example.”

4. She Doesn’t Try To Look Like Anyone Else

While Andriani might be inspired by others, she isn’t trying to look like them. She tells IwmBuzz.com that she doesn’t compare her body to other people’s, and focuses on herself. “Everybody has a different body shape, and I’m aware that my body could never shape up like anybody else’s and vice versa, so I couldn’t give a name of who I’d like to look like.”

5. She Respects Her Body & Mind

For Andriani, fitness isn’t about losing weight. It’s about making herself feel better. When IwmBuzz.com asked her to define what fitness is to her, the actress answered, “Fitness means respecting my body and making my mind happy." "Exercise helps prevent and improve a number of health problems, including high blood pressure, diabetes and arthritis. Research on depression, anxiety and exercise shows that the psychological and physical benefits of exercise can also help improve mood and reduce anxiety," says the Mayo Clinic.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
