Focus on the Results
"I'm really self motivated and really into health/fitness. What keeps me motivated is that the results are worth it, and there's no better feeling than sweating it out at the gym after a long day or to start my day!" she told Atlanta News. "I try to work out everyday."
Self-Love
Angela loves her body and her curves. "Didn't want to workout today … still did it," she captioned an Instagram pic. "Side bar : Just because you work out doesn't mean all cellulite disappears … natural body ! And proud."
Exercise Challenges
Angela does a variety of workouts. "I usually box or do spin class. On my days off I'll run stairs or run on the treadmill," she told Atlanta News. She recently completed a 30-day fitness challenge, celebrating by twerking on the beach. "Celebrating the finish line !!! 30 days completed," she captioned the video.
Eat Vegan
Angela recently discussed her vegan diet with Forbes. "I was vegetarian first, and then I became vegan. The whole process of becoming a vegan has been about fifteen or sixteen years. It's been so long I've lost count. I decided to make a change, went for it, and I'm still going strong," she said. However, she does caution against going vegan cold turkey. "People should consult a health expert or doctor because everybody's body is different. Many times people become vegan or vegetarian, and they don't do it the healthy way. There are so many things to know about being a vegan or vegetarian before you jump into it. The most important thing is knowing your body."
Supplements
Angela gets all the nutrients she needs by taking vitamins and supplements. She told Atlanta News that she takes "a basic multivitamin and also B12" daily.
