Here are 7 ways the Brazilian singer stays in shape.

Anitta is heating up social media with her latest swimsuit snaps. In a new post, the Brazilian singer flaunts her incredibly toned body in a bathing suit while on the beach, sending her followers into a frenzy. "Living life," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does the 30-year-old maintain her fit physique? Her diet and fitness routine are totally on point. Here are 7 things she does to stay in shape.

She Doesn't "Love" Exercise – But She Does It Anyway

Not every celebrity is obsessed with sweating. "I don't love working out, to be honest with you," the star confessed to Women's Health. However, she does maintain a consistent routine to keep for her health and so she can perform.

She Strength Trains

The "Lobby" singer does a lot of strength training—"particularly [of] the muscles [in the] legs, arms, back, and boom boom," (booty) she says.

She Does Yoga

Anitta also does yoga, reaping the body-mind benefits of the workout. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."

She Does Pilates

Anitta claims Pilates helps tone her six-pack abs and prevent back pain. "Pilates helps so much with my back and [other] physical problems," she says. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it "strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

She Fights

Once a week, Anitta practices a martial art or combat sport like Muay Thai or jiu-jitsu, she told Women's Health.

She Maintains "Balance" with Her Diet

"It's all about balance," is the motto Anitta lives by with her diet. "People look at my body and they say, 'Oh no, you don't eat the things you say you eat,' but actually I do," she told Women's Health. She does follow a plant-based diet, however, so you won't find her eating any meat.

Here Is What She Eats in a Day

"I drink celery juice before [breakfast]. I wait 20 minutes, and then I eat," Anitta said about her first drink of the day. For breakfast, she loves oatmeal pancakes (oats, non-dairy milk, flour, eggs, and some sort of oil or butter). "I like to put peanut butter on it," she says. Sometimes she will add fruit, preferably "a papaya or maybe mango," she says. For lunch, Anitta usually has a salad, greens with "either mushrooms, beans, or maybe sweet potatoes," she says. She is more intentional with her diet for her first two meals, and "then at night, I just eat whatever," she notes. "Like tonight I'm cooking hot dogs with my friends, to be honest." Another favorite dinner? "I like cooking pasta," she says. And preferably gluten-free.
