Anna Victoria In Workout Gear Shares "Robot Mode" Fitness Advice

“Later is often never.”

Fitness influencer Anna Victoria is sharing good advice about relying on discipline over motivation for health and wellness. Victoria, 35, posted a video of herself wearing black leggings and a gray sweatshirt, doing a mat workout with headphones on. "This is otherwise known as… "Robot Mode" 😏🔥 As soon as you think about it.. as soon as your scheduled workout time approaches even if it's 6am… just get up, and go. The longer you think about it, the more chances you give yourself to talk yourself out of it. Of why you can do it "later". But later is often never. Get up, channel robot mode, and just go. You will thank yourself, I PROMISE," she captioned the post. Here's what Victoria does to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

1

Morning Routine

Victoria wakes up at 6 a.m. every morning and drinks 16 ounces of water. "Then, breakfast," she told Well+Good. "Since this is a pre-workout breakfast, it's important to have a balanced meal that has both protein and carbs. I have smaller portions than I would in a normal breakfast, because I need to digest quickly and get to the gym. This could be either a protein shake and a serving of oatmeal, or two hard boiled eggs and a banana."

2

Balanced Mentality

Victoria says balance comes from living an 80/20 lifestyle and not going to extremes. "I personally never wanted to put so much pressure on myself to be perfect with my meals or workouts that there was no room to be human," she says on her website. "But these are often the moments that throw our whole routine off track. It's simply a mentality. It's the agreement you have with yourself that you are allowed to enjoy yourself, that you don't have to feel bad about it, and you shouldn't. But at the same time, you are just as aware that eating healthy is truly what's best for you and what makes you feel your best and happiest in the long run."

Body Love

Victoria is a strong proponent for holistic health. "Body Love is the epitome of taking care of your physical, mental and emotional health," she captioned an Instagram post. "3-in-1. One without the other does not equal a truly healthy life. All three are equally important. Done are the days the fitness industry tells you the only important thing is abs. DONE. Want abs? Go get em darlin. But not at the expense of your mental and emotional health."

Eggs For Breakfast

Victoria is a huge proponent for NOT skipping breakfast. "Usually my favorite breakfast is scrambled eggs, but this can get a bit boring sometimes," she told Well+Good. "I started experimenting with adding different veggies—my favorite combination at the moment is zucchini, tomatoes and chopped onions. Then for the carbs portion I'll have oatmeal. This is hands-down my favorite food of the entire day. I'll add coconut milk, a teaspoon of cinnamon, and either blueberries, goji berries, or cranberries. It's so good!"

5

Gym Time

Victoria likes the social aspect of working out at the gym. "Although I can do my Fit Body Guides (FBG) workouts at home, I enjoy working out in a gym, so I head there as soon as I'm digested—typically about 30 minutes after a snack and 60 minutes after a full meal," she told Well+Good. "After a quick warm-up and a light stretch, I begin my FBG workout. One thing I often hear from people who do morning workouts is how tired they get throughout the rest of the day. This is why eating a breakfast or snack before your workout and a full breakfast right after your workout is so important: Your body needs that food for fuel and energy, especially the carbs."
