Anne recently shared a video of her experience at a game on Instagram. In it, she rocked a set of workout gear in the Knicks colors. Anne captioned the post, “Let’s goooo!!!” Read on to find out 5 of Anne Hathaway’s workout secrets, and see the photos that prove they work.

1

She Builds Confidence

Anne’s trainer, Ramona Braganza, shared some of the actress’ workout secrets in an interview with Women’s Health. She says that she has Anne workout on days where she’s making a public appearance to build her confidence. “On the day of the Oscars, we pushed for a big pump for Anne since it helped her mental state,” Ramona explains. “Confidence comes from within and when you feel your muscles contract, or even if you’re just a little sore, then you’re more aware of your posture, too.”

2

She Walks

One thing Anne does to keep herself in shape is going for walks. Ramona tells Women’s Health that she has the actress go outside for a break in their usual routine. “Going for walks are always included in my clients’ programmes, since it’s important to have a nice break from indoor training.”

She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Anne’s workout routine is all about variety. Ramona tells Women’s Health that she has the actress do a mixture of different workouts. “We’d use my 321 Training Method,” Ramona says. “It involves cardio, circuit and core work, using resistance tools to achieve strength. For Anne in particular, we worked on her arms to accentuate her back and support her posture while wearing a gown at the Oscars.”

4

She Loves Yoga

One of Anne’s favorite workouts is yoga. She talked about this in an interview with Shape, as reported by Women’s Health. “I’m not a natural wellness warrior,” Anne admits. “I have friends who go to longevity conventions. They take crystal baths. For me, I try to make it to yoga three or four times a week.”

5

She Loves Pilates

Another workout that Anne likes to do is Pilates. She included a photo of herself using a reformer in this Instagram post. According to research from Better Health, Pilates is a great way to keep yourself in shape. “The health benefits of Pilates include: improved flexibility, increased muscle strength and tone, particularly of your abdominal muscles, lower back, hips and buttocks (the ‘core muscles’ of your body), balanced muscular strength on both sides of your body, enhanced muscular control of your back and limbs, improved stabilisation of your spine.”
