Anne has a physique to die for, and it may be from doing Monique's plank challenge—a speedy workout that can transform your core. The bodyweight routine Monique posted on Instagram is a prime example of killer leg movements for each side, and it's packed with goodness for your midsection, too. Monique dubbed it "an efficient way to work your core," according to The Independent.

What makes Monique's challenge so productive? It's a one-exercise sequence.

Here's how to do it:

Begin in a high plank with your body in a straight line. Place your right foot at the top of your left heel. Ensuring your spine stays elongated, bend both knees to move your hips in the direction of your heels. Press back through the ball of your left foot to return to the start position. Next, with your legs straight, tap your right leg to your right side, return to a high plank. This counts as one full rep; perform 10 in total before switching sides.

She Does Technique-Based Workouts

Monique likes to start out with technique sessions.

"I do technique sessions with all of my clients to begin with," she told The Independent. "There are no weights or bands, it just gives them a flow, and then we start to pick up the light weights and we go a little heavier as time goes on."

She Believes In Multidirectional Movements

Monique is also a fan of working on multidirectional movements with her clients, including Anne Hathaway. She shared with Woman&Home, "Both Emily [Blunt] and Anne do these moves each week in their sessions. I move both of them in multidirectional ways with challenging routines to activate more muscle and create a balanced and strong body."

In an Instagram post, Monique further stressed the importance of training this way. She wrote, "Multidirectional movement … I have trained this way my whole life. When you move in multidirectional ways you activate all the smaller supporting muscles in your [musculoskeletal] system, and at the same time, [create] leaner muscles throughout your body. Adding jumps, low or high impact stimulates bone growth. Standing on one leg stimulates the muscles that aid balance."
