1. Take a Walk

Anne Marie takes her dog, Clementine, for regular walks. “Best days when we take a walk with Oscar,” she captioned one of her posts.Why should you walk daily? One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Anne Marie loves to do Kira Stokes’ workouts. “Little change of scenery today for my workout 🏋️ Here are some snippets of one of my @kirastokesfit app workouts using her new sandbell. Let me tell you it was sooo good and wow do i feel it now!!! Like Kira says it’s the sneaky kind you don’t see it coming!!!” she captioned a video of her workout. Pushing your way out through the waves, and then paddling with an explosion of power to catch them, and then repeating this over and over requires a lot of energy, endurance, and persistence. Regular surfing can help to strengthen your heart and lungs, leading to improved overall fitness. Now, combine that with the fact that surfing is a low-impact exercise (when you are just starting out anyway) meaning that it is gentle on your joints and can be a great way to stay active without putting too much strain on your body.”

4. She Does Cardio

Teegarden tells Us Weekly that she makes sure to do cardio exercises. The Cleveland Clinic states that this has a lot of benefits. “‘When part of an overall heart-healthy lifestyle, not only can regular cardio exercise lead to a decrease in your resting blood pressure and heart rate, but these basic changes can also mean your heart doesn’t have to work unnecessarily hard all of the time, says clinical exercise physiologist Erik Van Iterson, PhD, MS.’ Maintaining a good cardio routine also helps improve good cholesterol levels while lowering blood fats.”

"A study done in Valencia, Spain, measured the amount of sunlight necessary to produce a sufficient amount of vitamin D in those with lighter skin. In spring and summer, 25 percent of the body (the hands, face, neck and arms) is exposed to the sun, and in these seasons, about 8 to 10 minutes of sun exposure at noon produces the recommended amount of vitamin D. In the winter, only 10 percent of the body is exposed, and nearly 2 hours of sun exposure at noon is needed to produce a sufficient amount of vitamin D," Robert D. Ashley, MD, told UCLA Health.

"Tennis utilizes upper, core, and lower body muscles – but it’s also one of the best cardiovascular and aerobic exercises you can do.
