Arden Cho is showing off her stunt skills – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the Avatar: The Next Airbender star flaunts her amazing figure while behind-the-scenes of the show. "I hope we get a season 2 & I get to use this whip I learned in stunt training for @avatarnetflix I definitely whipped myself in the head and the helmet was πŸ’― necessary, thanks for keeping me safe," she captioned the Instagram photos and video. Hiking

Arden loves to hike. "I climbed a big rock πŸͺ¨," she captioned a photo from one of her hikes. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

Boxing

Even while on vacation, Arden makes sure to get a boxing session in. "We literally laughed till we cried… γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹ Healing vacation! Harvard Health maintains that boxing is a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.

Coffee

Arden is a coffee drinker. "Reunited in The Big 🍎 we need more β˜•οΈ," she wrote about a photo of herself enjoying a cup of coffee with friends. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

What is Arden's favorite healthy food? "Sushi? Does that count?" she responded to Naluda. Her favorite cheat food is "anything fried," she added.Β

Me Time

Arden prioritizes me-time. "I definitely set aside pockets of time for myself that doesn't involve any work. A lot of my closest friends are not in the industry so that's a nice balance, they keep me sane. I also take breaks from social media here and there, sometimes it's good to just turn your phone off and enjoying being present," she told Naluda.
