She's Authentic
Windey opened up about her coming out process in an interview with Parade. "I went through things while I was dating Robby in the beginning, like kind of shame and internal things. But I'm like, this is true to me. This is the person I wanna be with. I'm sure in the beginning everyone and even my parents have said, 'It's just a phase.’ Even my girlfriends, I'm sure we're like, 'Okay, this is just a phase.' But it's a year and some months later, like it's obviously not a phase."

In her Parade interview, Windey spoke out the importance for change in the Bachelor franchise, especially from male contestants. "I think especially in recent years, even with the fandom and watching Love Island, I feel like the conversation around it is so much different. It's like these men are acting up! Like they are the problem. I hope that The Bachelor can kind of adapt to the times and become a little more progressive. Because I think as viewers now of social media and reality TV, we're craving authenticity."
She Loves Lobster
Windey likes eating lobster. She is seen enjoying a lobster roll in this Instagram post. Eating any kind of shellfish has a lot of benefits. AANMC states, “Shellfish is an excellent source of zinc, which facilitates the development of immune-defense cells in the body. 6 One of the symptoms associated with zinc deficiency is a decrease in activity of natural killer (NK) cells, which are essential for fighting disease.”
