Bailee Madison Relaxes on the Beach and Shares "Little Moments From Paradise"

Bailee Madison has been captivating audiences since she was a child, starring in beloved films like Bridge to Terabithia and Brothers. Known for her role on the Hallmark series Good Witch, Madison has continued to shine, recently taking on a starring role in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin and even launching her music career. She recently shared a glimpse of her relaxing beach getaway on Instagram, captioning the photos, “Little moments from paradise.” Curious about how Bailee stays so fit and radiant? 1. She Does Breathwork

Madison likes to do breathwork to take care of her mental health. She talked about this in an interview with Wondermind. “I'm doing good today. In the last five days, I've started doing breathwork in the morning before I get out of bed, which is something I've always wanted to do but have really struggled with because I find it really hard to be still and quite simply to breathe. I hold a lot in my chest and in my throat sometimes, so I'm trying to release that a bit more and just be still before I start my day. My mental health is a work in progress, as I think all of ours is. I think I'm way more intentional now with trying to recognize it and then also take care of it and give grace. … It’s constantly going to change, and my mind and my heart and my body are going to need new things as I continue to grow.”

2. She’s Open

Madison tells Wondermind that she is being more open with her mental health struggles. “The last few months, I think I've just been working on using my voice a bit more, talking through it, and not being so upset if I'm having an off day. … It's a work in progress. I feel like I'm kind of at the edge of the cliff where things are about to start making a bit more sense. It's been a lot of tough questions, a lot of insecurities that come up, a lot of personal things, and a lot of growth. But I actually hold a lot of gratitude now for the uncomfortableness and for the quiet times or the isolating times. … I think I am the definition of a work in progress at the moment, but I am grateful to be doing the work and to have allowed myself to do it because that in itself was a step that I wasn't really sure that I was taking when I chose to take it.”

3. She’s All About Self-Care

Madison shared some of her favorite self-care practices in an interview with Byrdie. “I also love journaling. I find putting words down on paper and checking in on my feelings is really healing. Also, this season was so lovely, as the whole cast would spend time together in the gym. It helped me realize that spending time sweating makes my head feel clearer and much more focused."

4. She Goes After What She Wants

When it comes to her career, Madison tells Byrdie that she’s going after things she wants to do. "Everyone knows that I don't just love the horror genre, I respect it so much. I've gotten to play my fair share of horror characters, but I love comedy and have been dying to do one. I want to make people laugh and know I'd have a blast on set. I just thought, 'Life's too short; I'm tweeting this.' You never know! But aside from that, I'm working on music right now, which is something I've always wanted to do. I put out my first song in January during the SAG-AFTRA strike. It was a healing experience for me, and now that I've gotten a little taste of it, I'm inspired to write more. I have a lot to say, and music is such a wonderful vessel to work through and heal from things."

5. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Madison shared her skincare routine with Byrdie. “I'm on a completely different regimen as of a week and a half ago. I realized that I have rosacea, so I had to figure that out because my face is always on camera. My routine now is very simple.
