Barstool’s Brianna LaPaglia in Bikini Conquers Heat Wave in Coney Island

Here is how she stays fit

Brianna LaPaglia is heating up social media in her bikini. The Barstool Sports podcaster shared a bunch of images via her Instagram stories this week, showing off her curves in Coney Island. In one of the images, she throws up a thumbs up while on the beach. How does the star stay in such great shape? Here are her diet and fitness secrets.

1

She Celebrated Her Weight Gain

After losing a lot of weight during her relationship with Zach Bryan, Brianne celebrated weight gain. “We have exciting news. I think I’ve gained 11 pounds. I know, I know,” she said on her podcat. “And it’s great and it’s awesome because I have an appetite again, I’m eating. I’m like, b–ch, you haven’t eaten for a year but maybe relax a little bit.” She explained the backstory.  “If you’re confused, I lost a lot of weight. It was a toxic, awful, horrible situation. And I was mentally going through something bad but I couldn’t eat and I became skin and bones so I started force feeding myself sh–ty food,” she said. “Like, I’ve been eating pasta, fast food – anything that is just sh–ty, that will make me gain weight.”

She Runs

One of Brianna’s go-to forms of exercise is running. She loves to jog around New York City where she lives. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is excellent for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

Hiking

LaPaglia hikes.  “So so so grateful to have such beautiful friends and family❤️” she captioned a post. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance

  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

LaPaglia enjoys swimming. According to the CDC, swimming effectively incorporates regular aerobic physical activity into your routine. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, multiple studies support the mental health benefits of swimming.

In a recent TikTok, LaPaglia, a former college athlete, admits its hard for her to self-motivate with exercise. “Hope someone can relate to me on this. Like, I am trying so hard to be fitness girly, but do any ex-athletes, like, people that played sports their whole entire life, that’s how they stayed fit? Like, I never had to work out on my own. Had practice everyday. We had workouts with the team in all seasons. Played a sport in every season. So I never really, like, Learned. Like, I was just always in shape, and now I have to do it on my own. I can’t. I can’t.”
