Becky G is hitting the gym in her workout gear. In a new mirror selfie, the singer shows off her super fit figure – including her flat abs – during an exercise session. In the photos she wears a green, two-piece set. “‘One day’ is not on the calendar 🗓️,” she captioned the set of Instagram snaps. “Let's go 💪👏,” captioned trainer Senada Greca. “Baddie,” commented another follower. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
1. Prioritizing Routine
In an interview with E News, Becky explained how her relationship with self-care has evolved over the years. "Health and wellness is something that, as I've gotten older, I've dedicated myself to more," she said. "For me, prioritizing routine—and it's very hard with what I do—but finding ways to do things for me because I do so much for everybody else around me."
2. Healthy Diet
Becky also makes healthy eating a priority. “But what I put into my body matters, so I try to be as healthy as I possibly can,” she tells E.
3. Working Out Because She “Wants To”
"I love working out now more than ever," she added to E, "three years ago, there was a version of me that would never say that.” She also changed the way she views exercise. "It's different when it comes from a place of wanting to versus having to," she says. "And I've learned when I want to do these things, there's no stopping me. And I think, the why behind it. Who are you doing it for? If not for you, then chances are, you're not going to really keep up with it."
4. Consistency with Exercise
"Consistency is key,” when it comes to exercise, per Becky. "Even if I go five days without working out," she continued, "and I only get to work out one day out of the week—even if it's a home work out, even if it's stretch, even if it's going outside for a walk—I try to be as consistent as I can be."
5. Pushing Herself to Work Out Even When She Doesn’t Want To
"There's times where I'm so tired but then I do five push ups, get my blood pumping, and it's like, now I can get through the day," she told E. "Those are the peaks I've noticed with my mental health. S--t can totally be hitting the fan, but I go to the gym and I have a session with my trainer, and I come out, like, you know what, you may not be able to control everything else around you but you did that."
