Beth Behrs is living out her baseball fantasies – in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the 2 Broke Girls star shows off her amazing body and team spirit in workout gear while throwing the first pitch at the Baltimore Orioles game. “That time I got to live out my childhood dream of pitching for the @orioles ... AND I DID IT FROM THE MOUND AND GOT IT OVER THR PLATE ! So there all the hates who thought I wouldn't make it over 😝😝 (aka my family!) @mlb @mlbnetwork @sportscenter #top10 #baseball #orioles #bethbehrs,” she captioned the Instagram video. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Workout Planning

Some people meal plan. Beth workout plans. "What I tend to do is schedule my whole week on a Sunday night—so I’ll plan my workouts and what time and I’ll actually schedule it in—because I find if I don’t have it in my planner, I’ll be lazy and I won’t want to do it. It’s like scheduling a meeting. I call it my Reset Sunday. You stick to it,” she told Women’s Health.

2. Different Workouts

Beth maintains variety with exercise “For me, a typical workout changes every day because I get super bored, so I like to change it up and do swimming one day, yoga, Pilates, circuit training. It basically just changes every week,” she told Women’s Health.

3. 80/20 Diet

Beth is a proponent of the 80/20 diet. “My diet on a normal day is 80 percent healthy 20 percent eating whatever I want, because I really believe in not depriving yourself of a cookie or a carb if you really want them,” she told Women’s Health. “Life is too short and eating healthy 80 percent of the time doesn’t have to be awful.”

4. Interval Training

Beth is a fan of FitMix studio in Los Angeles, which is a workout based on interval training mixed with pilates. She also recommends doing running-walking workouts on your own.

5. Swimming

“I just started swimming, which I thought would be really boring, because I'm usually more of a fast, contact-sports person, but to be honest, it's one of the most meditative workouts,” she told Popsugar. “I love yoga, too, but with the swimming you get that cardio high that you get running, but it's also super meditative because you're in the water, you're alone, and you can't really hear anything! So I've actually been doing that, and I've noticed a big change in my body; I feel like swimming is basically resistance training in the water, plus cardio, so you're getting a double workout, which is great!” Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.

6. Smoothies

Beth drinks healthy smoothies. “I do a humongous smoothie with two green apples, one cucumber, four celery stalks, a squeeze of lemon juice, a handful of spinach, and then a whole liter water. I carry that with me on set all day because it's super hydrating, it's really healthy, and it keeps you full in between meals,” she told Popsugar.
