Professional surfer and inspirational speaker Bethany Hamilton has four kids, a very busy career, and endless energy—just check out a recent Instagram video of her on the waves. Hamilton, 34, who famously lost her arm in a shark attack when she was 13, is seen surfing in a variety of outfits, including black shorts and a long-sleeved shirt. “More happy mermaiding this year! 🤙🏼🏄🏼‍♀️🙌🏼🧜🏼‍♀️. I shared two new years goals on my blog this week. Comment “purpose” and I’ll message you to get them to your email! 🤗,” she captioned the post. Here’s how Hamilton stays fit, healthy, and full of energy.

1. 4,000 Calories a Day

Hamilton upped her calorie allowance from 2,200 to 4,000 after realizing she needed much more than she was getting. “Since I burn so many calories each day – surfing, working out, breast-feeding full-time, traveling and raising children – I realized that I wasn’t eating enough,” she wrote on a website post. “I was undernourished! I needed more protein and a lot more carbs. I also was low in many minerals, so that was affecting me negatively. The foods I eat more of now are better supporting an overall balance of the various proteins, carbs and minerals that I need on a daily basis.”

2. Surfing and TRX Workouts

Hamilton’s workouts revolve around surfing (of course) and high-intensity exercises. “I usually surf one to five hours a day in two sessions,” she told Fit Bump. “Surfing is my go-to as far as exercise, but I love working out and getting a sweat on. I often get distracted outdoors, but in a gym I can focus. I usually do a Tabata-style workout. I like high-intensity with various lunges and squats and some explosive versions. I’ll also incorporate the TRX, Bosu, step-ups and a ball, sometimes some light dumbbells, too. I love swimming, deep-sand beach jogs and sprints, playing tennis, spinning, running stairs. I love a variety of workouts so I don’t get bored!”

3. Organ Meats and Raw Milk

Hamilton loves animal-based nose-to-tail protein. “I focus on organic and locally grown foods and I just kind of try and balance it all out so I’m getting a variety of nutrients that will benefit my body,” she wrote on a website post. “I eat a lot of animal foods (from grass-fed and grass-finished, happily raised animals!) such as beef, bone broth, liver and organ meats. Haha, liver and organ meats – I know ew, right? But, people have regularly consumed them for ages and the health benefits are incredible! I enjoy dairy and try to get it raw when possible. I get raw milk from my brother, who is a dairy farmer, so I know where my milk is coming from which is super cool! I’ve even met his cows! Some of my other staples are lots of potatoes, cooked veggies, fruit, squashes, fruit juices, and sprouted and sourdough grains. These foods have drastically helped my health improve.”

4. Protein Shakes

Healthy,Green,Smoothie,With,Spinach,,Banana,,Lemon,,Apple,And,ChiaShutterstock

Hamilton starts her day with a protein smoothie. “My typical morning shake consists of a protein, like Designer Protein’s Essential 10 Performance Vanilla Plant Based Protein and Recovery Supplement, with unsweetened almond milk, a half banana or handful of blueberries (or any fruit I have around!), and two big handfuls of spinach,” she told The Inertia. “Often I’ll add ground flax seeds and a healthy fat like MCT Coconut Oil, coconut cream or flax oil for extra health benefits. I’ll also add collagen powder and sunflower lecithin for their health benefits.”

5. Home Sweet Home

Hamilton is happiest at home with her family. “I love home, Hawaii,” she told Thrive Market. “I’m secretly a homebody; I love sleeping in my own bed, making my own food, being active and surfing, and being close to my family. We do travel a ton, but I guess it makes home that much sweeter.”

Liv Morgan, the WWE wrestler (whose real name is Gionna Jene Daddio), has to stay fit since it’s part of the job. One way she does so is by paddle boarding, as she shared in a new photo of her in a swimsuit. “Paddle board number was pure coincidence ✨Also… Gigi tipped her kayak over less than 15 seconds of being in the water,” she captioned it. (That number was 201, the area code of her hometown New Jersey.) How does she stay so fit? 1. Being Physically Active Helps Her Stay Mentally Healthy

“What helps me support my mental health? Being physically active equates to my overall health. Even if it's not very physical, it's just pivotal to get the body moving, do something that makes you feel good about yourself. I'm very fortunate to have a great support system. My family, my friends, they just listen. Being in ear for someone is so important. Sometimes people just need to vent. There are so many ways to start a conversation about mental health with a friend. What matters is that you reach out,” she has said.

2. She Eats “Clean”

“Consistently eaten super clean all week. Thought I deserved a ... Little... Cheat meal,” Morgan posted once, enjoying some pizza. “Clean eating is the practice of choosing foods in their whole-food state, and avoiding processed and refined foods. However, the interpretation of clean eating can vary from person to person,” says the Mayo Clinic. “For some, only whole foods are clean; for others, minimally processed foods are acceptable,” explains Anne Bauch, Mayo Clinic Health System registered dietitian. “Clean eating also can imply eating mostly vegetables and fruits, whole grains, animal- and plant-based protein, nuts, seeds and oils. Clean eating is an intentional way of eating that includes only minimally processed, nonpackaged foods that don’t originate from a factory.”

3. She Trains Hard

“I want it,” Liv captioned one workout video, where she’s sparring in the ring. “Wrestling’s popularity dates back to 15,000-year-old cave paintings in France and as an iconic sport in the ancient Greek Olympic Games,” says the Marshfield Clinic Health System. “Today, the sport continues to be a good way to help youth learn teamwork and responsibility, and be active and practice balanced, healthy lifestyles. Youths of any age, skill-level and body-type can start wrestling and see improvement with training.”

4. She is Grateful for the Fan Support

Liv agreed that it seems like the fans are willing her to the top. “You never know if people are gonna love you or hate you, and it's so much easier to get people to hate you than to get people to love you,” she told BT Sport. “So the fact that the fans have kind of naturally and organically gravitated towards me and I've wanted me to succeed, it's more than I could ask for it's it makes me so grateful and it feels humbling that they're kind of just on my side and wanting me to succeed. I feel like I wouldn't be in this position if it weren't for them and for their voices and for the noise that they've been making and their support, it's wild.”

5. She Kept the Faith

Starting out, “It was hard definitely because I didn't have the money. I didn't have the connections. I had no idea how I was gonna make it to the WWE and just certain things aligned. And I feel like I just got so lucky and so blessed. This was always what I thought, but I almost thought it was impossible some days, but I just always had the faith, no matter what I always had the faith for some reason,” she told BT Sport.

American Pickers star Danielle Colby is sharing one of her favorite hobbies with fans: underwater swimming. Colby posted a photo of herself along with a quote by David Lynch, looking serene in a two piece swimsuit. “Meditation is to dive all the way within, beyond thought, to the source of thought and pure consciousness. It enlarges the container, every time you transcend. When you come out, you come out refreshed, filled with energy and enthusiasm for life,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Colby stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Loves To Swim

Colby is an accomplished underwater swimmer. "Every time I go for a swim I feel like the earth and my incredible swim colleagues have enabled me to have experienced something pretty amazing," says Dr Jenny Martin, a physician and clinical pharmacologist at the University of Newcastle. "You get a release of hormones that make you feel good, like the molecules that are in morphine drugs, and other feel-good hormones like serotonin, dopamine. After an ocean swim in winter, you sometimes get a temporary natural high when you get out … definitely a euphoric feeling."

2. Paddle Boarding

Colby shares her adventures with paddle boarding on her social media. “I had a breakthrough today with @rinconpaddleboards I have never been able to root myself properly for longer duration. I could get up but it didn’t last long,” she says. “Damiano took the time during our private lesson to break down every detail of what’s happening on the board, in the water and in my body and how to respond for more stability. I have a long way to go and needs to stay lower and work on arm placement but I felt so happy with today’s lesson🎉 I always Learn so much.”

3. She’s a Dancer

Colby is a professional dancer, something she says changed her life from day one. “I discovered Burlesque in Chicago quite some time ago, years and years ago- I was addicted from the first show,” she says. “There’s something very empowering about Burlesque. I started learning right away, I started performing way too soon! There’s some great video footage to prove that. But it’s all been a really fun journey, even watching old videos, it’s cool to see how much more at ease I am with myself and with my audience. But it’s funny, I have maintained the same lumbering stance since I started. There’s nothing delicate about me on stage, I just throw my guts out there and then I walk away and let people sort out what they saw.”

4. Mental Health and Confidence

Colby says giving back to the community is one of the best ways to gain happiness and confidence. “My advice, for what it’s worth… If you’re trying to gain or regain confidence, don’t do it through Burlesque,” she says. “Help in your community, educate yourself, travel, find where your real strength lies.”

5. Embracing Her Unique Looks

Colby is famous for her many tattoos, something she considers a “storyline” for her life. “I don’t think I took collecting tattoos seriously at first,” she says. “I mean my first tattoo was an LBT tribal tramp stamp of a butterfly…Ha! I have definitely acquired some more impressive tattoos since then but I collect them for the story. I’m not afraid of people judging the work I have on my body, it’s a storyline for myself. I love it when my friends work on me, I love to collect the memories, I cannot have an artist work on me that I don’t feel close with. I have to feel a sense of kinship I’ve been very fortunate to find that across-the-board with my tattoo artists.”

Dellanos is open about her plastic surgery procedures, telling The Sun she has spent over $17,000 on enhancements. "I had my breast augmentation in 2018 for $15,000 and my lip fillers for approximately $2,000. I also enhanced my booty a little which I will discuss on my YouTube channel soon." She believes that the money was an investment, since her social following grew dramatically after going under the knife. “I had about 200,000 followers on Instagram before my cosmetic procedures and before I started working out regularly," Dellanos told Insider. "I believe both has contributed a lot to my success. Cosmetic enhancement isn't for everyone, but in my case it's been a motivation to better every aspect in my life — amongst my physical appearance."

2. She Exercises

Obviously, Alexa works out a lot. In a YouTube video she documents her go-to workouts when she's traveling. "Don't skip the gym," she says, proceeding to run on the treadmill, use the rowing machine, and then the stair climber. "I'm doing just a light travel workout," she explains.

3. She Hydrates

Alexa makes hydration a priority, especially when she is exercising "A little water break, after cardio," she says. "It's so important to stay hydrated while you're working out." According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

4. She Eats Vegan

Dellanos maintains a meat-free and animal product free diet. "I am vegan, so it's really hard, sometimes to find food in certain restaurants," she says in the YouTube video. "They actually offered me a whole vegan selection, like a special vegan menu.

5. She Likes to “Share Positive Energy”

"I've learnt to never let the attention get to my head because no matter how big or small you are online, you are still just human," Alexa told The Sun. "Although I enjoy posting sexy photos and luxury lifestyle posts, I also try to post things that truly matter. I want to share positive energy to everyone I meet and to anyone who looks at my life through social media."

1. She’s A Professional Wrestler

Being a WWE superstar, a lot of Green’s workouts comes from wrestling. She tells Fitness Gurls, “I enjoy the physicality of being a wrestler. The bumps & bruises I get are the best part of my job. I look at those like I would’ve looked at a trophy for a kickass soccer game, or a medal for winning the 100m race.

2. She’s Motivated

When it comes to working out, Green is extremely motivated. She tells Fitness Gurls, “I’ve also always loved working out and seeing my body change, so now to be able to do that and be rewarded is amazing. The reward being, seeing myself on TV weekly!”

3. She Has A Supportive Family

Green says that her family helps her stay on track and stay committed to things. “Once I made the decision to pursue wrestling, I made sure to tell all my family and friends so that I was held accountable,” she says to Fitness Gurls. “Once you tell them something as crazy as that, you better not quit!”

4. She Works Out On A Regular Basis

Green tells Fitness Gurls that she is consistent when it comes to wellness. “In wrestling, we have no offseason. So unlike most sports, we don’t have time to binge eat or to take vacations from the gym. That in itself is a blessing and a curse. I constantly stay in the gym and make sure that my workout routines are ones that I can uphold 24/7 as opposed to fad diets. With that being said, there are plenty of injuries that come with my job. I’ve learned to workout around those, while also knowing when to just REST.”

5. She Swims

Green loves to go swimming as a way to stay in shape. She posts a lot of photos of herself in the water on Instagram. When she went on a trip to the Maldives, she posted this photo of herself in an outdoor pool. She captioned the post, “No caption can do this view justice!”

Kristin Cavallari is a reality TV and fashion icon. Since she debuted on Laguna Beach, people have clamoured for her fashion and beauty secrets. Cavallari recently shared her eye makeup secrets on Instagram, after several people asked for them. She captioned the post, “This is for the girlies in my DMs asking about this eye every time I do it. Sorry the lighting is awful. I also don’t know why the audio isn’t in sync for half of it 🫣 but here ya go 💗”

She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Kristin shares a Zucchini Almond Butter Blondies recipe

Kristin Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Krisitn Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. It's committing to the life you want, without running away from the work that it entails. It's building freedom every day, with conscious choices and, mainly, with the acceptance that freedom is not the absence of limits, but the autonomy to know which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Being free is being willing to carry the weight of your own life and still find it funny.”

She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”

Brandi Glanville has never been one to hold back, whether on reality TV or her unfiltered podcast. Best known for her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the US and UK versions of Celebrity Big Brother, and The Traitors, Glanville always speaks her mind. Her podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, recently stirred up some drama when she called out Real Housewives stars for struggling on The Traitors and suggested the show stop casting them. Many fans saw this as subtle shade toward Phaedra Parks, who excelled in the previous season.

Beyond the headlines, Glanville has shared glimpses into her personal wellness routine, from skincare secrets to unconventional self-care methods. Here’s a look at how she stays feeling and looking her best.

She Uses Eye Patches

One thing that Glanville does to take care of her skin is use under-eye patches. In this Instagram post, she revealed the brand she used on Celebrity Big Brother. Glanville captioned it, “One of the #1 questions we get from fans since leaving #bigbrother is what brand of under eye patches were we wearing constantly on the show...The answer is @peterthomasrothofficial!! They are amaze! #ThanksMarissa 💋 (Blogging about all the products, will be posting on @bbeautyunfltrd soon).”

She Walks

Brandi is seen walking her dog

Brandi Glanville/Instagram

Glanville likes to walk her dogs to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her pup walking in Los Angeles. Glanville captioned the post, “On our way to do some podcasting.” Harvard Health says that walking is very beneficial. “Walking can help protect you during cold and flu season. A study of over 1,000 men and women found that those who walked at least 20 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, had 43% fewer sick days than those who exercised once a week or less. And if they did get sick, it was for a shorter duration, and their symptoms were milder.”

She Has A Dog

As you can see from the previous Instagram post, Glanville has pet dogs. And according to Harvard Health, this can be beneficial. “A growing body of solid research shows that owning a dog can: provide companionship, help you be more active, make kids calmer, more secure, and more responsible, improve the lives of older individuals, help you be calmer, more mindful, and more present in your life, make you more social and less isolated, ease stress.”

She Worked With A Breath Coach

Glanville revealed to Us Weekly that she works with a breath coach to help with her mental health. “I’m still doing cosmetic stuff, but at the same time trying to fix myself. I eat better and breathe and actually exercise. I’m getting there. I just started with this journey, but I can actually do things. My body can do things now that I couldn’t do five years ago.”

She Uses CellSound

Glanville revealed to People that she used the CellSound treatment on her stomach.
