Chanelle Hayes is one of the most well-known stars from Big Brother. Since then, she has become outspoken about her weight loss and struggles. Hayes shared a new video highlighting it on Instagram. In it, she posed in a pink swimsuit at two stages of her life. Hayes captioned the post, “(Re)touch my body.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Chanelle Hayes stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Raises Awareness

Hayes is all about raising awareness about eating disorders. In this Instagram post, she talked about the impact of binge eating disorder. “Binge eating disorder accounts for up-to 22% of eating disorders (Hay et al., 2017). I’ve never heard of a doctor diagnosing it so I would go out on a limb and suggest it’s probable that many cases are unreported so this 22% could be much higher. Wanted to post this to raise awareness about this specific disordered way of eating and expressing that you don’t always have to be super skinny to be struggling with eating issues.”

2. She Avoids Stress

Hayes makes sure to take care of her mental health, which means avoiding stress. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “I thought I would post this to try to remind you guys that SOCIAL MEDIA IS NOT REAL and things are so easily edited so please try not to stress and compare yourself or your life. BE KIND TO YOUR MIND. It’s something I have to remind myself daily because I subconsciously compare the chosen snapshot of life on people’s social media to my whole life warts and all. It’s unkind of me to do it to myself, but I do.”

3. She’s Consistent

Hayes is open about her decision to have bariatric surgery. She shared what she learned from this experience in this Instagram post. Hayes says that she has learned to be more consistent with wellness. “Bariatric surgery is only a tool, if I don’t use it consistently and correctly it will fail. Addressing abnormal relationships with food is so important if I want to become healthier physically and mentally.

4. She Doesn’t Compare Herself To Others

Creative,Beauty,Collage,-,Face,Parts,Of,Different,Ethnicity,Women.Shutterstock

In the same post, Hayes writes that she has learned to not compare herself to others. Especially when it comes to weight. “Weight looks different on everybody. I am trying to stop focussing on other people’s weights because my only competitor is myself. Ten people could weigh exactly the same but have completely different body compositions. Selfishly (but thankfully) I now only care about myself and mine.”

5. She Spends Time Outside

Hayes has two sons, and she likes to do outdoor workouts with them. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “One of the best things since my #gastricsleeve is being able to move more and spend more quality time with my boys. In the left pic, I sat sweating due to my excess body weight watching my son play football. In the right, I had just beaten him at a race of the Monsal trail, so I was sweating for the right reasons! Last weekend I took the kids trampolining, next week we are going swimming. None of these activities were something I could have done before. Partly, because I felt so much shame I didn’t want to embarrass them but partly because I knew I would be in agony for days afterwards.”

1. She Stays Active With Her Kids

Hayes posted a photo on Instagram showing the difference between her active lifestyle and her inactive one. Hayes revealed in the caption that her active lifestyle involves doing a lot of activities with her kids. “Last weekend I took the kids trampolining, next week we are going swimming.”

2. She Bikes

Yellow,Bicycle,On,Leaf,Wall,Background,,Vintage,StyleShutterstock

In the same photo on Instagram, Hayes says that she is also an avid biker, and she likes to bike with her son. She writes, “In the left pic, I sat sweating due to my excess body weight watching my son play football. In the right, I had just beaten him at a race of the Monsal trail, so I was sweating for the right reasons!” Hayes continues, “I wasn’t in any agony after this bike ride, I was starving, but pain free. So I finished off with a nice Caesar salad and a side of “smug” from winning the race.”

3. She Doesn’t Use Filters

Hayes posted a photo on Instagram of her body looking two different ways. She revealed that she is the same weight in both photos, but used airbrushing and filters in one photo. Hayes writes that she’s working to accept her body in its natural state, and isn’t using filters on social media. She writes, “Although I still don’t love the look of it and would like to change bits of it- I accept that it’s the real me. It scares me that some of the pictures we post online are so unlike the real us, we wouldn’t actually recognise each other in the street without the editing or filters. At least you know if you see a rough saggy old bird with a flat butt it’s actually me and not that unrecognisable species on the left lol. Also I much prefer the Matalan basics set on the right instead of all those fiddly bits on the fancy sets.”

4. She Doesn’t Eat A Restrictive Diet

In a post on Instagram detailing her weight loss, Hayes revealed what she eats in a day. She also says that she isn’t on any restrictive diets, and feels like they work better for her. She writes, “I feel satiated and full after such small amounts now I never feel like I’m missing out because that gnawing hunger of being on a diet isn’t there. I have noticed that a year on I can definitely eat more than a year ago but my level of restriction differs on a day to day basis.”

5. She Embraces Her Body

Hayes is known for being a body-positive activist, and shares posts on social media about self-love and acceptance. In one post, Hayes posed in a bikini, and encouraged her followers to embrace their bodies for what they are, and not to worry about a “bikini body.” She writes, “After years of hating my body for being too big, it’s now small enough that my skin looks saggy and baggy. I have four boobs because my implants are in one place and my actual skin and breast tissue are in another. I have stretch marks on practically every area of my body, cellulite is my constant companion no matter how big or small I may be at any given time. I didn’t love the look of my body then and I don’t love the look of my body now, but I DO love taking care of my body and the confidence that comes with being healthy. I’m never going to look like the airbrushed images of people online, but does that mean I don’t have a bikini body? No. So I wanted to share my tips with you guys on how to get a “bikini body”: 1. Get a body. 2. Put a bikini on it Voila! You have yourself a bikini body.”

How does the Brit reality star maintain her body and beauty? Here are some of her secrets.

1. She Gets Botox

Jess is the owner of Candy Aesthetics, which offers fat dissolving treatments including fillers, Botox and Brazilian butt lifts. “Considering it’s my job I don’t actually have a lot done,” she told OK. “I think a lot of practitioners do have their whole face jabbed, but I do stick to the natural look. “I’ve had a little bit of Botox,” she admitted.

2. She Gained Weight at the Villa

3. She’s Gotten a Non-Surgical Tummy Tucks

On TikTOk Jess revealed that she had undergone a non surgical tummy tuck, sharing a video of a belt and machine wrapped around her stomach. She also shared before and after photos.

4. She Gets Cheek, Chin, and Lip Filler

Jess also copped to having “just a bit of cheek and chin filler and lips,” during the Q&A. “I had my lips done, since I was 18 I had such little lips, but it started off getting a little bit in my cheeks, just because it gives off that nice contour, it just gives a structure to the face.”

5. She Celebrates Body Confidence

Jess is body confident. She recently launched a size inclusive clothing collection, In The Style X Jess Harding. “I literally can’t even tell you how much this means to me, not just because it’s an amazing opportunity but because it’s a dream to be able to create a collection that all you girls can look beautiful in no matter what shape or size,” she wrote in a post.

Partly, because I felt so much shame I didn’t want to embarrass them but partly because I knew I would be in agony for days afterwards.”

3. She Got Gastric Sleeve

Hayes opened up about her decision to receive gastric sleeve surgery in an interview with New! Magazine. She says that she did a lot of research before choosing to have the procedure done. “I tried every single diet there is but I was completely out of control. If I was abusing alcohol or drugs the way I abused junk food, somebody would have intervened and done something about it. I felt as though there need to be more of a medical intervention, so I went away and spent a year researching it.”

4. She Eats Healthy

Hayes makes sure to eat healthy. She even shares some of her favorite meals on Instagram. She captioned this photo, “Grilled fillet of salmon with a low carb salad. I’ve always enjoyed working out (I’m actually a qualified PT, crazy as this may seem) but I actually feel proud to exercise and improve my body after all the junk I’ve been feeding it all these years. It’s my way of saying ‘hey body, I’m sorry for abusing you...here’s an olive branch’ (or a dumbbell).”

Chanelle Hayes is celebrating women! The Big Brother star shows off her slimmed-down figure in a new video in honor of International Women’s Day. “Happy International Women’s Day! 1. She Cycles

Chanelle loves riding bikes. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

2. She Had Gastric Bypass Surgery

After struggling with her weight for many years, Chanelle opted to have weight loss surgery. She recently shared some lessons she learned from it. “5 lessons I have learnt since having weight loss surgery,” she captioned the post. “1. It does not change my relationship with food. Bariatric surgery is only a tool, if I don’t use it consistently and correctly it will fail. Addressing abnormal relationships with food is so important if I want to become healthier physically and mentally. 2. Not everyone will understand my choice and that’s ok because it is MY journey. “Just eat less and move more”, “you’ve taken the easy option”, are a few comments I’ve heard along the way. Believe me, it is not easy (wish it was!) and it was not an option I took lightly. But it has been the best decision I’ve made in terms of my health. 3. Exercise is different now. I’ve always enjoyed working out (I’m actually a qualified PT, crazy as this may seem) but I actually feel proud to exercise and improve my body after all the junk I’ve been feeding it all these years. It’s my way of saying “hey body, I’m sorry for abusing you...here’s an olive branch” (or a dumbbell). 4. Weight looks different on everybody. I am trying to stop focussing on other people’s weights because my only competitor is myself. Ten people could weigh exactly the same but have completely different body compositions. Selfishly (but thankfully) I now only care about myself and mine. 5. Even though I’ve lost weight, I’ve grown as a person. I have been every size you can think of and can empathise with the issues that come with them all. I realise people may plaster on a smile - at any size - but not be ok beneath the surface. Going through this experience has really given me a better understanding of private struggles and how easy it is to hide them.”

3. She Eats, Clean, “Gorgeous,” Meals

Fresh,Green,Salad,With,Grilled,Chicken,Fillet,,Spinach,,Tomatoes,,Avocado,Shutterstock

Chanelle eats low-carb, but fulfilling meals. For breakfast she might have a bacon, sundried tomato and feta omelette, with spinach avocado and cherry tomato salad. For lunch, a grilled fillet of salmon with a low carb salad. “Plenty of healthy, necessary fats in this one. Plus it’s absolutely gorgeous,” she said. An early dinner, chicken breast, spinach, rocket, watercress, pine nuts, feta, tomatoes, green beans, lemon juice. “Summery and beaut,” she wrote.

4. She Meal Preps

Chanelle is also a big proponent of meal prepping. Many nutritionists and personal trainers recommend meal prep, as it makes it easier to eat healthy and avoid takeout or grabbing other unhealthy food in your home.

5. She Stays Active with Her Kids

Chanelle also stays active with the help of her kids. “Last weekend I took the kids trampolining, next week we are going swimming,” she wrote in one of her posts, adding that if she hadn’t undergone gastric bypass she wouldn’t be able to. “None of these activities were something I could have done before. Partly, because I felt so much shame I didn’t want to embarrass them but partly because I knew I would be in agony for days afterwards.”

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”

It’s hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston is 55 and turning 56 in February! Since soaring to fame in 1994, the Friends star has hardly aged in the three decades that have passed – and she has never been secretive about her devotion to health and wellness. Her hard work over the years has paid off through her strong and lean body and ageless looks. Here is everything you need to know about Jennifer Aniston’s approach to longevity.

She Maintains a High Protein Diet

"My nutrition is very much the same. It's usually a lot of high protein, vegetables, salads, soups,” she tells People. “I do 80/20. I give myself days where I can have whatever I want. I don’t deprive myself,” she added to TODAY. Why should you consider amping up your protein intake? According to clinical trials, consuming more protein than the recommended dietary allowance not only reduces body weight (BW) but also enhances body composition by decreasing fat mass while preserving fat-free mass (FFM) in both low-calorie and standard-calorie diets.

She Cheats on Occasion

Jennifer allows herself to indulge in “everything I would possibly want on a weekend,” she told People. Her cheat meal “depends,” she says. “I mean, dare I sound repetitive, but Mexican food is a real favorite of mine. It's not even that much of a cheat, to be honest. Or a cheeseburger or pizza or pasta — all that stuff.”

“My bigger challenge is sleep. I think that’s all part of our nutritional hygiene — the amount of water we get as well as the amount of sleep we get. It’s the combination of all of those things that make your workouts the most effective," she told TODAY.

She specifically loves P.Volve workouts, a functional fitness that helps you “function throughout the day” and “work out your essential muscle groups to keep your body strong,” she says. “So you can live a long, healthy, strong life.”
