It’s all about moderation, according to Jasmin. “I love food and I cannot resist my love for unhealthy food,” Jasmine told Women Fitness. “I try to balance my meal by cheating once in a week because I love to eat things which are unfortunately unhealthy so to keep myself happy and healthy, I cheat once a week. Five favorite foods I will fall for any time are Butter chicken, Pizza, Spaghetti Meatballs, mango and malai ice-cream, and jalebis.”

5. Yoga

Jasmine is a yogi practicing three days a week. "I think yoga gives me awareness not just about my body from the outside but also about my internal organs. I feel it's very important because it teaches you self-realisation of your body. And breathing into all the organs and body parts is also very important to keep it healthy. It draws your attention towards your body and its abilities so that you can strengthen your mind too and not just your body,” she told Times of India. "It has changed my life. I sleep better, I eat better, it has changed my whole outlook. Breathing techniques in yoga help me keep my mind cool and stable.”

Basu recommends finding an activity you enjoy and sticking to it. “The only goal which such people should have is to be active. Jobs these days are very stressful,” she told the Economic Times. “They involve sitting in front of a computer for long durations. People should basically start loving themselves and participate in some physical activity of their choice. It can be any sport, say cycling, swimming, jogging or working out in a gym. The cardio boost is very essential. Also, you must have a good diet, sleep for eight hours and basically be honest to your body. It’s a temple and you should start worshiping it by keeping fit.”

Basu knows how important it is to fuel workouts with good quality food—but she also makes space for treats, which means a more sustainable routine long-term. “I always say, please do not starve for a good toned body,” she told the Economic Times. “For example, my vice is mithais and I cannot say no to a good laddoo. Basu credits her beautiful hair and skin with a nutritious diet. “I eat everything except red meat and rice,” she told Vogue India. “Lots of greens, chicken, dal, roti and vegetables form a part of my daily diet. Basu uses hair oils to keep her hair and scalp healthy. “My hair is my biggest beauty asset, and I believe a good conditioner helps hair looking healthy, shiny and full of life,” she told Vogue India. “I invest in regular oil massages to keep my locks looking good. Whether it’s voluminous curls, sleek-straight or beach waves, I like to experiment with my hairstyles and resort a lot to styling. “I kind of have a mixed diet,” Jasmin told Closer. “Sometimes I’m healthy, and I’ll have chicken, vegetable and potatoes. But other times I’ll just go and have a burger. Mixing it up is a good thing and, if you’re working out at the same time, there’s no harm.”

Jasmin prioritizes exervise. “I go to the gym 3-4 times a week, and I do a lot of toning. “So like squats and weights to help me build up my muscle. I’m on Protein World at the moment, and it’s really helped me,” she told Closer.

“I don’t do any cardio,” Jasmin confessed to Closer. “But I dance, so occasionally I go to Pineapple studios.” Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

5. She Eats a Big Breakfast

Jasmin revealed to Women Fitness that she fuels up in the morning. “I have porridge then just after that I have salmon, scrambled eggs, kale drizzled in lemon juice. With orange juice on the side. Then take a green shake which maybe I will have like, kale inside, spinach, apple, banana etc…” she said.

Shaughna went to drastic measures to lose weight for the show, sharing about it in a 17-minute video on her YouTube channel. She wouldn’t allow herself to eat treats over the 2019 Christmas period and asked her colleague to "shame" her every time she tried to. “I think for me and the series that I was in, we had it the hardest... because the casting process was over Christmas,” she said. “Everyone and anyone indulges, but because we knew we were potentially going into the villa, I for one did not have one Quality Street that whole Christmas season... Now, that was a bad Christmas.”

She went to the gym for 90 minutes every evening and her routine was “very, very strict,” she said. “I would do 20 to 25 minutes on the treadmill very fast at a high incline. Ever since I was little, I've just always been up literally before the sun,” Shaughna told Bustle. “I don't like being rushed in the morning, so although I could probably easily get another hour in bed, I would rather just get up and start waking up gradually. These days, my normal morning routine starts at 6 a.m. I get up, make my breakfast, and have a cup of coffee, or tea, depending on my mood. I watch a little bit of TV before I head to workout at 8:30 a.m. I like to get it done and dusted because that way it means nothing like social media can impact my workout.”

“I'm definitely a bath girl. To the point where I miss having them in the summer because the last thing you want is to increase your body temperature,” Shaughna told Bustle. “When I used to go to the gym after work, in the days before Love Island, I remember the moments when I would see a text from my mum saying, ‘Your bath is running’ and it would literally feel like I’d won the lottery. Thinking about my bath is one thing I used to do to get me through the gym. Feeling that post-workout ache and being in the bath. There is nothing better! I've got to have a lot of bubbles, not bath salts – I can just feel the grains and it makes me feel like the water is dirty. Lots of candles. I like to have my hair up, out of my face, because I get very hot and bothered.”

While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”
