Izabel Goulart is celebrating her birthday in her bathing suit. In a new social media post the Brazilian supermodel thanks her friends for making her 39th trip around the sun extra special, posing on a surfboard in her swimsuit. “I have the best friends ever.! Couldn’t ask for anything else on my birthday. ! And thank you for all the b-day messages, felling so much love from everyone,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she maintain her beautiful body? Celebwell rounded up her top health habits.

1. Exercise

Izabel understands the physical and mental health benefits of exercise. "I am a model professionally but I'm also an athlete, a friend, a daughter, a sister and many other things. Training has helped me overcome stress and fears to be successful in other aspects of my life," told Elle Australia. "I tell my trainers... to train me like I will become a professional in that sport. If you have focus, motivation [and] dedication, you can accomplish your goals."

2. Cooking

Izabel controls what goes into her body by cooking her own meals when she can. "I travel a lot, but when I'm home, I cook every day," she told Elle. One thing she loves to cook? Freshly baked bread.

3. Juicing

“The first thing I do in the morning is prepare fresh juice. I have 15 different recipes, which I drink for 15 days consecutively. Then I repeat the recipes from the beginning for the next 15 days of the month. My juices include fruit, vegetables, leafy greens, and even grains. After a workout, I have a protein drink and always keep a protein bar in my bag," she told Vogue.

4. Eating “Basic” Foods

"I try to keep the foods I put in my body as basic as possible: protein, carbs and vegetables. When I go out, I just try to make the healthiest choices on the menu," she told Elle about her approach to eating. "I do not believe in crazy diets [that help you] lose many kilos in just a few days. This is not good for your body,” she added to Vogue.

5. Positive Outlook

Izabel maintains a positive outlook. "I don't wake up everyday thinking I have to look good, but I wake up everyday thinking I want to feel happy," she told Elle. "I want to walk in a room and be able to make people smile and laugh. It's all about confidence."

6. Mixing Up Workouts

Izabel does lots of different workouts "My favorite outdoor activities are running, yoga, and functional training. My favorite indoor workouts are Pilates, kickboxing, functional training, and a lot of different exercises at the gym with and without weights—including TRX," she told Vogue.

Candice Swanepoel is 33 and thriving. The South African model posted a gorgeous series of pictures of herself swimming underwater in a black one-piece bathing suit, captioning the shots “..and with libra season comes an ocean of emotion 🌊 ⚖️.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Swanepoel stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Beauty Smoothies For Breakfast

Blueberry,Juice,And,Banana,Smoothies,,A,Tasty,Healthy,Drink,InShutterstock

Breakfast for Swanepoel is usually eggs and bacon or a delicious smoothie. “My breakfast varies depending on my mood. I do a nice beauty smoothie,” she tells The Cut. It contains coconut oil, flaxseed oil, banana, protein, some kind of antioxidant fruit like blueberries or strawberries, or some nut butter. I discovered it from doing research; I like to be on beauty blogs. I’ve always loved nutrition and because I’ve worked out for so many years, I’ve figured out what’s best for my body and keeping my energy up. It’s evolved from that.”

2. She Loves Yoga

Swanepoel doesn’t see exercise as a burden—she believes it’s important to find a workout you love. “I really enjoy working out so, to relax, I’ll do a yoga or Pilates class,” she says. “What I love about yoga is that it helps both your mental and physical well-being. I also like unwinding by taking my dogs for a walk. When I can, I love to be surrounded by nature or swimming in the ocean.”

3. Keeping a Healthy Balance

Swanepoel knows the importance of balance in life. “To me, wellness is having a balanced lifestyle between personal and work,” she says. “It’s being happy and healthy. I don’t like restrict myself from certain foods that I want, or kill myself at the gym. It’s really what’s comfortable for my body at the time and what’s best at that moment.”

4. She Loves To Swim

Swanepoel is an early bird, who loves the beach and swimming. “An ideal day would be to wake up quite early, make a nice breakfast, and take my time in the morning before taking my dogs for a walk, going to the beach, or having a quick swim,” she says. “I also love being at home, decorating, or FaceTiming with my family.”

5. She Loves Her Post-Baby Body

Swanepoel has two children—Anaca, 5, and Ariel, 4, and revels in her post-baby body. “You take on a different shape, a more womanly shape,” she says. “I’m loving it. I’ve had such an amazing experience with my pregnancy and afterwards. It’s quite a journey: the hormones, watching your body grow that way, giving yourself time to go back to normal. I think women have to stop putting so much pressure on having to be perfect and back in shape three weeks after. It's just not realistic. For me, it was about focusing on my son and it all just fell into place after that.”

Izabel Goulart, the Brazilian fashion model who was one of the Victoria's Secret Angels and appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, just shared some behind the scenes images from a photoshoot in Brazil. Goulart posed in front of the ocean, with her foot on a jet ski. She wore a one piece black swimsuit, showing off her figure. “On set in Brazil 🇧🇷 50 anos de Blueman ! Coming soon !!,” she captioned it. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Izabel Goulart stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Trains Like An Athlete

Goulart broke down her approach to wellness in an interview with ELLE. She says that when it comes to working out, she takes it really seriously. Goulart says that she asks her trainers to give her workouts that are really hard, specifically like an athlete. "I tell my trainers to train me like I will become a professional in that sport. If you have focus, motivation [and] dedication, you can accomplish your goals."

2. She Does Yoga

One workout that Goulart loves to do is yoga. She posted this photo on Instagram of herself upside down in a pose, while she was on her hotel balcony in Paris. She captioned the photo, “Bonjour! Calm before the storm.” "Yoga therapy is a holistic practice that supports health and healing. It uses breathing exercises and gentle movement. It aids in healing, provides relaxation, increases range of motion and enhances well-being. Yoga therapy is used for individuals of all ages and abilities," says the Mayo Clinic.

3. She Likes To Cook

Detox,JuiceShutterstock

Goulart is a big fan of cooking meals, and she says to ELLE that she likes to make a lot of healthy food. "I travel a lot, but when I'm home, I cook every day," she says. "In the mornings, I'll make juices with fruits, vegetables and protein." "Several organizations, including Mayo Clinic, the American Cancer Society (ACS) and the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR), urge us to eat more fruits and vegetables. The ACS guidelines suggest we should eat five or more servings per day. The AICR has set goals of 2 to 3 cups of vegetables and 1 1/2 cups of fruit per day. A serving, as defined by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is one medium whole fruit or 1/2 cup of fruit, 1/2 cup of cooked or chopped vegetables and 1 cup raw, leafy greens," says the Mayo Clinic.

4. She Eats Healthy

When it comes to her diet, Goulart says that she eats pretty healthy. She tells ELLE that she isn’t on any complicated diet, and just focuses on eating natural, healthy foods. "I try to keep the foods I put in my body as basic as possible: protein, carbs and vegetables. When I go out, I just try to make the healthiest choices on the menu." Add some olive oil, too. "Regular intake of virgin olive oil—a monounsaturated fat characteristic of the Mediterranean diet—is associated with low incidences of cancer, heart disease and other obesity-related problems as well as a lower risk of stroke. A recent study in the journal PLOS ONE showed that firefighters, a group known to have a high prevalence of obesity, who adhered to a Mediterranean-style diet rich in olive oil showed a 35 percent decreased risk of metabolic syndrome, as well as a 43 percent lower risk of weight gain," says our sister site Eat This, Not That! about the healthiest foods.

5. She Focuses On Happiness

Izabel GoulartLaurent Koffel/Getty Images

Goulart tells ELLE that she prioritzes her happiness above everything else. Even over her career and her looks. "I don't wake up everyday thinking I have to look good, but I wake up everyday thinking I want to feel happy," she says. "I want to walk in a room and be able to make people smile and laugh. It's all about confidence." "If your relationships are strong and you receive generally positive feedback, you're more likely to see yourself as worthwhile and have healthier self-esteem. If you receive mostly negative feedback and are often criticized, teased or devalued by others, you're more likely to struggle with poor self-esteem," says the Mayo Clinic.

2. Health Is Wealth

Goulart genuinely enjoys sports and exercise. “Health is one of the biggest treasures we have in life and has always been my priority,” she says. "Sports have always been a big part of my life. At school I played a lot of different sports and I was competing with other schools. I did everything: running, volleyball, basketball, soccer, Olympic-style gymnastics, and more! My history with sports gave me good concentration, focus, strength, and motivation to stay healthy."

3. She Trains Like an Athlete

Goulart’s exercise regimen consists of kickboxing, running, Pilates, and weight training. "I am a model professionally but I'm also an athlete, a friend, a daughter, a sister and many other things,” she says. “Training has helped me overcome stress and fears to be successful in other aspects of my life. Goulart always finds a way to work out while traveling. "Often, I'll do a quick workout in my hotel room consisting of exercises for the legs, glutes, abs, and arms with my own body weight,” she says. “Also, I always have a jump rope, a medicine ball I can inflate, and a band in my suitcase. It's a great kit to have for travel. If you don't have a gym at your destination, no problem!"

5. Happiness Over Looks

Goulart focuses on how she feels over how she looks. "I don't wake up everyday thinking I have to look good, but I wake up everyday thinking I want to feel happy," she says. "I want to walk in a room and be able to make people smile and laugh. It's all about confidence."

Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.

She’s Consistent

Last year, Culpo was preparing for her wedding. She told E! News that she made sure to be consistent with her wellness in order to prepare. “Really trying to dial in [on] what I eat, how I workout, the workouts that I do. Trying to get them in consistently because you only get married once and I want to feel my best. But this past season it was just hard being so far away from my normal routine and where I typically live."

She Keeps Her Skin Healthy While Traveling

Culpo has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it, even while traveling. “I don't wear any makeup when traveling," she says to Travel + Leisure. "That's one rule because I do feel like you will have a higher chance of breaking out if you are wearing a full face of makeup. A few things I always have with me is some sort of a spray. I love Dr. Barbara Sturm or Caudalie or La Mer. I also absolutely love traveling with a makeup wipe, the Neutrogena wipes are great. Something to just take off the sweat you build up.”

She Keeps Her Skincare Simple

Culpo shared her skincare routines with Byrdie. She says that she keeps her morning and night routine simple. “I am always trying out new products, so what I gravitate toward is often changing. At night, I usually use an oil and a serum. Right now, I love the Clarins Double Serum. In the morning, I use a Vitamin C serum and an SPF, and, typically, I just rinse my skin with warm water instead of using a cleanser. It is something I swear by—it allows for the oils on my skin from sleeping to absorb naturally.”

She Uses Products With Vitamins

Culpo shared some of her favorite skincare products with Byrdie. She says that she uses ones that have vitamins in them. “I have noticed a huge difference in my skin with vitamin C and E. I love the Good Janes H2OMyGod Moisturizer—it's sort of an all-in-one moisturizer that has vitamin C and collagen peptides. As for vitamin E, I actually just purchase the oil from the drugstore. It is super cheap and great to put on any red marks I may get from an occasional breakout. The healing process is so much quicker when I am using Vitamin E oil.”

She Packs Healthy Snacks

Culpo makes sure to eat healthy. She shared some of the snacks she packs with her with Travel + Leisure. "I love the Kind bars. I love any sort of nuts, to be honest with you. They are a go-to snack for me. I would say Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and some almonds would be perfect! Also, electrolytes to stay hydrated or some sort of collagen beauty powder or something."
