1. She Golfs

Teresi likes to play golf to keep herself in shape. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself on the course. Teresi shared this video of herself taking a swing, captioning it, “Happy place.” Randa reports that golf has a lot of health benefits. “On a regular 18-hole course, most players will walk between four and five miles, burning up to 2,000 calories.”

2. She Hikes

Teresi also likes to hike to keep herself in shape. She shared these photos on Instagram of herself hiking in Yosemite. Harvard Health reports that hiking can help with your mental state. “A number of small studies hint that spending time in green space — nature preserves, woodlands, and even urban parks — may ease people's stress levels. Giving the growing consensus that stress contributes to high blood pressure and heart disease risk, anything you can do to mitigate stress is likely helpful. In that realm, the benefits of hiking remain anecdotal, but outdoor enthusiasts tend to agree.”

3. She Uses A Resistance Band

Teresi shared this full-body workout on the Guess YouTube channel. She uses a resistance band for all the exercises she does in it. NASM states that using a resistance band to do exercises can have a lot of benefits. “Bands can help build muscular endurance and explosiveness, balance and coordination, stability, flexibility, mobility, and even increase muscle size and strength. One meta-analysis revealed that when testing either band against free weights and machines on increases in muscular strength for both the lower and upper body, no differences were found between methods. Indicating that bands can provide just as many gains in strength as free weights.”

4. She Does Squats

In the Guess YouTube video, Teresi is seen doing squat workouts. She is seen doing squats with a side leg lift and split squats. Piedmont states that squats have a lot of benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do…Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

5. She Does Glute Bridges

Teresi also does glute bridges in her YouTube video. NASM states that this exercise has a lot of benefits. “Glute bridges are a useful exercise for building core stability, building glute strength, and improving overall exercise form and function. When performed as a stabilization exercise, glute bridges activate the glutes to function as they are supposed to in other movements like squats, deadlifts, walking, and running. Adding weight progresses glute bridges into a strength exercise, which can build strength in the glute muscles. By increasing glute activation and strengthening the glutes, not only will your form get better in other exercises, but you might also gain the added benefit of reduced low back pain in your everyday life.”
