Simone Ashley is heating up the Maldives – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the Bridgerton star flaunts her amazing figure in a bathing suit as she enjoys a tropical vacation. “Dolphins, baby birds, turtles, fishies! 🐬 🐣 🐢 🐠 🐡 ☀️@amillamaldives Thank you 🩵,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Drinks A Lot of Water

Ashley’s top advice for health? “Stay hydrated! You work long days with all the wigs, costumes, and makeup, so staying hydrated is key. I also like to steam my face at the end of the day—it’s a good way to clear the skin out,” she told Vogue. Why is drinking enough water so important? Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues, explains Mayo Clinic.

She eats A Lot of Protein

Ashley focuses her diet around protein. “I also try to eat a really healthy diet; I eat a lot of protein. There are lots of ways to get your nutrients in and I would say that diet is a big thing for healthy hair,” Ashley told Vogue. She added to Glamour UK That she loves green juice and other healthy staples, like salmon, fueling up on the omega-3 rich fish before shoots. Her guilty pleasure? “Ice cream is one of my favorite things—I’d have it every day if I could. I love everything from a vanilla soft serve to cherry to Oreo, literally everything. Whatever the flavor, I’m down for ice cream,” she told Vogue.

She Hikes

Ashley called herself “a big nature person” to Conde Nast Traveller. “I love hikes,” she said. “For me, a perfect vacation would be exhausting myself playing in the sand, swimming, hiking, exploring, and then treating myself to an absolutely massive meal and some really nice wine with friends and good music. I'm trying to be a bit more cultured and push myself to do more city-searching and going to exhibitions and all of that. But at heart, I'm a big explorer,” she said. “Hiking to waterfalls,” she captioned a post.

She Runs

Her other favorite fitness form is running. “I’m a massive runner, I run all the time,” she told The Mayo Clinic explains that running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

She Does Reformer Pilates

“I swear by reformer Pilates—I was introduced to it a few years ago,” Ashley told Vogue when asked about her go-to workout method. “For Pilates, I go to the Alo studios when I’m in the States and it’s one of the best workouts I’ve done in my life. Laura Quinn is one of my trainers there, and she’s changed the game for me in terms of how hard I can push my body. It’s a very mindful and thoughtful exercise— sometimes it’s the minimal movements that are the most powerful. For women, it’s great because it connects you to your pelvic floor, plus it gives you a full awareness of your body. Whenever I’ve got lots of press coming up, or a red carpet, if I work out lots I feel less depressed and generally happier. And I feel like the best version of myself.”

How does the young actress maintain her fit physique? Read on to see 6 ways Simone Ashley stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Doesn’t Live in Fear

“I'd like to think that I'm not a very fearful person,” Ashley recently told Glamour. “We’re in an industry that, yes, as an artist you can feel certain pressures at times, but we're not performing heart surgery or curing diseases or having lives dependent on us. That's real pressure. When I put that into perspective, I'm like, ‘It's fine.’”

2. She Hikes

Ashley likes to get her sweat on al fresco. “I'm a big nature person,” she told Conde Nast Traveller. One method she adores? “I love hikes, going to the beach, eating really good food. For me, a perfect vacation would be exhausting myself playing in the sand, swimming, hiking, exploring, and then treating myself to an absolutely massive meal and some really nice wine with friends and good music. I'm trying to be a bit more cultured and push myself to do more city-searching and going to exhibitions and all of that. But at heart, I'm a big explorer,” she said.

3. She Kickboxes

Ashley likes to get her fight on. She revealed to Glamour that she spent her downtime during filming "hanging with her dog, watching old episodes of Friends, going on hikes. She learned kickboxing, ate healthy, and even managed to get some reading done."

4. She Rides Horses

Ashley also rides horses. She told Glamour UK that she has improved since Bridgerton. ‘I’m quite natural and I’m quite sporty anyway,’ she said. “At the start, I was in the saddle every other day, pretty much for one to one and a half hours a day. I loved it.” She added that it also helps her mental health.

5. She Drinks Green Juice

In one of her Instagram videos, Simone chugs green juice out of a large pitcher. "Consider blending instead of juicing. Blending the edible parts of fruits and vegetables produces a drink that contains more healthy phytonutrients and fiber. Fiber can help you feel full," says the Mayo Clinic. "If you try juicing, make only as much juice as you can drink at once; harmful bacteria can grow quickly in freshly squeezed juice. If you buy commercially produced fresh juice, select a pasteurized product."

6. She Loves Fish

Delicious,Cooked,Salmon,Fish,FilletsShutterstock

Salmon is Ashley’s go-to food for energy, especially prior to shooting. “On my first day, I was like, “OK, first day as a leading lady, got to eat lots of food, be really energized. So, I had this massive portion of salmon and that’s when I needed to be sick, basically because I was wearing the corset,” she told Glamour UK. “I realized when you wear the corset, you just don’t eat. It changes your body. I had a smaller waist very momentarily. Then the minute you stop wearing it, you’re just back to how your body is. I had a lot of pain with the corset, too, I think I tore my shoulder at one point!”

Bridgerton star Simone Ashley says she loves Los Angeles because she gets to enjoy the beautiful year-round sunny climate—and she’s sharing that sentiment on her social media with some glowing snaps. Ashley, 28, posted a gorgeous picture of herself posing in the sunshine, wearing a blue swimsuit top and leopard print skirt. “Happiest in the ☀️ 🌞,” she captioned the post. Here’s how the British star stays fit and happy.

1. Hardcore Training

Los,Angeles,-,Mar,9:,Simone,Ashley,At,The,VersaceShutterstock

Ashley went through intense training for her Bridgerton role. “With Bridgerton, it’s much more intense than Sex Education in the sense that if I’m not filming, I’m horse riding, training or in rehearsals,” she says. “I’m in accent training or I’m in a fitting. I’ve never really worn a corset before, so that took some getting used to! My body definitely changed a little bit wearing it and that kind of changed my posture a lot to suit the era. Horse riding… I’ve never really ridden before. I rode once, years ago, but I did some intense training for that and it turns out I’m a natural at it so that’s a great thing!”

2. South Indian Food

Los,Angeles,-,Jul,13:,Simone,Ashley,Arrives,For,TheShutterstock

Ashley’s favorite dish is curry made by her mother. “I like making breakfast; whether it’s a smoothie or just scrambled eggs, it’s the first thing I think about, to be honest, in the morning,” she says. “I’m South Indian, so I’m Tamil, and the food… I mean my mum, she cooks the most amazing food. I love cooking. I don’t really get to do it much with traveling around all the time and being on set, so it’s nice and a bit therapeutic to use my brain in a different way.”

3. Corset Troubles

Ashley learned the hard way how difficult it is to wear a corset all day. "On my first day, I was like, 'OK, first day as a leading lady, got to eat lots of food, be really energized.' So, I had this massive portion of salmon and that's when I needed to be sick, basically because I was wearing the corset,” she says. “I realized when you wear the corset, you just don’t eat. It changes your body. I had a smaller waist very momentarily. Then the minute you stop wearing it, you're just back to how your body is. I had a lot of pain with the corset, too, I think I tore my shoulder at one point!"

4. Not Academic

Sleeping,,Burnout,And,Girl,College,Student,In,A,Classroom,Bored,Shutterstock

Ashley struggled with academics when growing up in the UK. "I failed at everything in school,” she says. “It was just my attention that was bad. I was awful – at maths, all of that stuff. Just had no interest. And my brother would force me and sit me down, bless him, and get me to revise, get me to study. He tried so hard and I just had zero interest in it. I was very stubborn in that sense. If I didn’t like it, then I just wouldn’t do it."

5. Hiking and Sunshine

Ashley took full advantage of the outdoors hiking scene while working in Los Angeles. “I do love LA,” she says. “I have more fun here, when I’m out here, and I eat better; I think it’s the sun. It just makes me feel a bit more energized and proactive. I used to drive a little Mustang when I was living out here, and I loved it. I’d always have Fleetwood Mac blasting and I’d just take off. I grew up listening to that kind of music. The Doors, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood.”

Simone Ashley is an actress. She’s best known for her role on the Netflix series’ Sex Education and Bridgerton. Ashley recently enjoyed a day at the lake, and shared some photos on her Instagram story. In one, she walked into the water. In another, she held her dog in her arms. In the last one, Ashley lied on her towel. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Simone Ashley stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She’s All About Hydration

Ashley has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared some of her skincare secrets in an interview with Vogue. “Stay hydrated,” Ashley said. “You work long days with all the wigs, costumes, and makeup, so staying hydrated is key. I also like to steam my face at the end of the day—it’s a good way to clear the skin out.”

2. She Protects Her Skin From The Sun

Simone Ashley.2Simone Ashley/Instagram

Another of Ashley’s skincare tips is protecting it from the sun. “It's really important to protect your skin from the sun,” she said in her Vogue interview. “I love using L’Oréal’s Bright Reveal SPF 50—it leaves no white cast, it’s really light and not oily, and it works really well under makeup. So if there’s an event or something that I want to go to, I can wear it under makeup, but also day to day, too. After Cannes, I’m going to take a break where there will, hopefully, be lots of sun and I’ll definitely pack my SPF 50.”

3. She Takes Care Of Her Hair

Simone Ashley.1Simone Ashley/Instagram

Ashley also shared her haircare secrets with Vogue. “I try to use minimal heat on my hair when I’m working—but sometimes it can’t be avoided. I also try to eat a really healthy diet; I eat a lot of protein. There are lots of ways to get your nutrients in and I would say that diet is a big thing for healthy hair. I have also fallen in love with L’Oréal’s Elvive [editor's note: In the US, try the Water Rinse for something equivalent]. I sometimes put it on when I’m in the sauna and then sit on my phone for five minutes. It makes my hair smell so good and the ends feel really glossy and hydrated… and it looks super shiny and healthy.”

4. She Does Pilates

Simone Ashley.3Simone Ashley/Instagram

Ashley loves to do Pilates to stay in shape. She talked about this to Vogue. “For Pilates, I go to the Alo studios when I’m in the States and it’s one of the best workouts I’ve done in my life. Whenever I’ve got lots of press coming up, or a red carpet, if I work out lots, I feel less depressed and generally happier. And I feel like the best version of myself.”

5. She Goes To Spoken Therapy

Simone Ashley.4Simone Ashley/Instagram

In a different interview with Vogue, Ashley shared some of her wellness secrets. “If you have the means to be able to go to spoken therapy, that’s a form of wellness that I would highly recommend to anyone, especially young people,” she said. “Actually, scratch that, to anyone! It helps you to understand yourself more and gives you the tools to be able to relate and communicate with others, and it’s something that can really create a lot of space within yourself.”

Bianco is enjoying the ocean in her swimsuit. In a recent social media post the Game of Thrones star (she played Ros) shows off her amazingly fit figure in a bathing suit while walking on the beach. “Wow. You look stunning Esme,” one of her followers commented. “Lovely. Absolutely stunning,” commented another. How does the 41-year-old maintain her health? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.

1. She Reads

Esmé is a reader. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

2. She Takes Baths

Esmé also takes baths as a form of self-care. She captioned a photo of herself, “at last.” How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

3. She Is Open About Her Mental Health

Esmé is very open about her mental health. “#IAmNotOk because I have to take multiple medications a day to treat my PTSD and anxiety, stemming from a #domesticviolence relationship I left years ago. I consider myself extremely fortunate that I can afford good medical care and therapy. Many survivors aren’t that lucky,” she captioned a post.

4. She Rides Horses

Esmé rides horses. “Ole Blue Eyes 💙 so good to be back in the saddle,” she captioned a photo. According to the American Heart Association, riding horses is great for your health. Not only does it boost cardiovascular health, but builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.

5. She Walks on the Beach

In her recent post, Esmé takes a walk on the beach. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
