Brooke Burke is a model, TV host, and fitness expert. She shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. Burke shared two new videos this week. In one, she did arm workouts. In the other, she does leg workouts and red light therapy. Burke wore different sets of workout clothing in the videos. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Elsa Hosk stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Gets Enough Sleep

Time,To,Get,Treatment,For,Your,Sleep,Problem,-,DarkShutterstock

Burke shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Sports Illustrated. When asked what advice she’d give others, Burke talked about the importance of getting enough sleep. “Get your Zs. A good night’s sleep reduces stress, improves metabolism and gives you the energy to live a vigorous and healthy life.”

2. She Drinks Enough Water

Burke told Sports Illustrated that drinking enough water is another piece of wellness advice she has. “Hydrate! Believe it or not, water is your best friend for youthful beauty. Increasing your water intake will help replenish your skin and body and curb your appetite.” Harvard Health states that getting enough water has a lot of benefits. “Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.”

3. She Intermittent Fasts

Burke is open about her decision to intermittent fast. She talked about this in her Sports Illustrated interview. “Everything changes with age, and so has my diet. I’ve been intermittent fasting for the last three years, and it is the easiest nutritional plan I have ever committed to. I eat in an eight-hour window, enjoying good fats and delicious food.”

4. She Works Out At Home

Burke shared her secrets for working out at home with Sports Illustrated. “My fitness routine has completely changed with age. I love digital fitness because it cuts out my travel time and financial commitment to unique classes. I can work out at home doing compound moves, utilizing equipment I already have around my house, and target/tone in less time than ever. In addition, I practice yoga for the mindful component of fitness. I have also learned how to train the female body and focus on all the issues to work harder as we age. The Brooke Burke Body app offers specific workouts to target, tone and sculpt the female body, right in your own home.”

5. She Makes Salads

In this post on her website, Burke talked about some of her favorite recipes. She says that she loves to make salads. “Even salads don’t have to get boring if you think beyond traditional cobb, Caesar, and garden varieties. For instance, a grilled chicken salad with avocado, black beans, and a salsa dressing is completely different from a farro salad with dates and almonds and a vinegar and mustard dressing. Even though I keep the ingredients for a handful of my favorites stocked up, I am always trying new things and experimenting with new combinations.”

Brooke Burke is revealing the secret to her abs – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the television personality-slash-exercise queen looks incredible in a rainbow two-piece as she gives her followers a tutorial on a key exercise. “Morning moves 💛🧡💜 @brookeburkebody #stretch #yoga,” she captioned the post with her followers. What is the exact exercise that helped Brooke achieve her killer six-pack? Here is everything you need to know about her “morning moves.”

1. Brooke’s Move Is a Variation of the Side Crunch

Side,CrunchShutterstock

In the video, Brooke lays on her side, propping herself up on her arm with her legs bent and does “what is essentially a variation of a side crunch,” says Philadelphia-based trainer Kendra Gamble of HIT Fitness. The low impact exercise is a great way to strengthen the entire tummy.

2. Here’s How to Do It

Brooke.Burke.2Brooke Burke/Instagram

“So here’s what it is going to look like,” Brooke says in the clip. “You are going to crunch and straighten and crunch,” she says, recommending “15 on each leg.” She adds: “Point your toes and reach, make sure you are engaging your core.”

3. What Muscles Does it Work?

Brooke.Burke.3Brooke Burke/Instagram

What muscles does it work? “The way she’s doing it specifically works the internal and external obliques, which are core muscles,” says Gamble. She does note that side crunches aren’t going to be the miracle move to get rid of love handles. “Only diet does that,” she reminds. “You can’t spot reduce fat.”

4. Who Should Do the Exercise

Brooke.BurkeBrooke Burke/Instagram

Gamble says it is a great exercise for beginners, “who don’t work out much,” because it can help them learn how to activate their core to get stronger core muscles and help them understand what’s really working. However, she wouldn’t recommend side crunches to a person with a spinal injury like a herniated disc.

5. Why Working Out in the Morning Is a Good Idea

As for the early morning workout, Brooke is definitely onto something. A 2023 study published in the journal Obesity found that early morning sweat sessions — between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. — could help with weight loss. According to their research, people who did moderate to vigorous exercise in the morning had lower body mass indexes than people who exercised at midday or in the evening. “Working out in the morning is beneficial because you are rested and refreshed and your body is full of energy,” Gamble adds. “If you work out in the morning it sets the tone for the day giving you more energy.” And, “most people when they save a workout for after work they end up not doing it because they are tired.”

When I've completed an intense workout session and I leave the gym puffing and sweating - I feel like I've got somewhere,” she told Buro. She even works out when she is on the road. “When I travel, I’ll maybe do a 10-minute workout in my hotel room to get my body moving; or a two-minute plank, a couple of push-ups and even just stretches. I try to take a skipping rope and also booty bands in my suitcase, which are super light and easy to transport,” she added.

6. She Also Loves Pilates

Brooke has another favorite workout. “I really love pilates; it’s sort of like meditation for me – my time to refresh my mind, re-energize, switch off and put my focus on being in the moment,” she added to Women’s Health.

Bianca Bustamante is revving up her engine in 2025 – in her workout gear. In a new social media post, the racecar driver reveals she is taking “the next major step” in her physical journey as a race driver “and I’ve set the target high!” she says in a new Instagram post, filled with video clips of herself lifting heavy weights at the gym. “Never been more motivated in my life, it’s not physically easy for a girl in this sport, but I’m super excited to take on this new challenge and the next big step on my racing journey,” she added. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here are her top lifestyle tips.

Lifting Weights

Bianca spends hours at the gym where she focuses on strength training along with endurance, cardio, reaction time, and reflexes. “You know, to be a driver, it’s a complete package. It takes strength. It takes mental fortitude. It takes reflexes, smart thinking, and survival skills,” she told MEGA Active. “Sometimes it's for the body, sometimes it's for the mind. Nothing more peaceful than early sessions,” she captioned an Instagram post of one of her sessions.

Double Down On Training

In her recent post, Bianca reveals that she working extra hard at the gym. “I’ve been working hard over the years to build a solid foundation, but in 2025, I’ll be working with @j_w_90 and I’m doubling down on my training. Increasing to two workouts a day not just on lifts but aerobic endurance, as well as a better focus on nutrition and rest, in order to raise the bar to compete in the higher formulas,” she said.

Fueling Your Body With Protein

Bianca makes sure to eat enough protein in order to build more muscle and stay as lean as possible to meet the weight requirement. “It’s been a really cool journey seeing my body develop and transform into this whole different person I never knew I could become,” she said. In her new post she added that she is meal prepping. “I’m soooo all in that im even learning how to cook & meal prep better than ever before,” she writes.

Taking Cold Plunges

As for recovery, cold plunging is part of Bianca’s training regime. Limited research supports the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increasing focus, improving sleep, and decreasing inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes post-sport recovery.

Working On Self-Esteem

Positive self-talk is also important. “Of course, I put a lot of pressure on myself, but in the end, I always tell myself that as long as I give my best and I learn from it, any mistake I make is valid,” Bianca explained. “I always try to repeat that to myself that I am valid. I’m here for a reason and there’s nothing I would rather do than be here.”

How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Jogging

Brenda enjoys jogging. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

Walking Her Dog

She also takes her dog on long walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Dancing

You can also find Brenda dancing to burn calories. Dancing is an excellent workout for many reasons. It builds strength and promotes flexibility, helps you lose weight, and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop or die from heart disease than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues

Swimming

Brenda spends a lot of time in her swimsuit so it isn’t surprising she loves to swim. According to the CDC, swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, multiple studies support the mental health benefits of swimming.

Hydration

Finally, Brenda hydrates, especially after a long workout or sun exposure. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

She Supports Animals

Romani has her own charity, Help Miami Cats. She talked about how she started this in the caption of this Instagram post. “❤️ Guys!!!! I have always loved cats and had many growing up. When I moved to Miami Beach I met a great calico named Chacha and learnt that cats were brought to the city by Mayor Lummus … against rodents. Cats rely on volunteers for their food and water and there’s a huge amount of them. There’s a city program to Spay and neuter with the wonderful @sobecats ladies and the feeding is made official by a City Sanctioned badge, yet new cats keep getting dumped daily sadly and there’s a never ending amount of work, emergencies and so on. I was on a feeding rotation but during the pandemic I was left alone caring for so many as people left town or couldn’t afford feeding anymore …I decided to start my own non profit @helpmiamicats . We feed close to 200 and when Batman got paralyzed took him and other special needs cats under my care … @stevensachs69 with the cat room and the amazing people involved devote their lives to these special souls … My life has changed a lot too … way less spare time, way more sweat and tears and lost the person I had by my side who had sadly other priorities … yet gained so much love from these lovely creatures !!! If you can please get involved in any way … follow @helpmiamicats , share, volunteer, adopt … donate … Only together we can make their world a better place !!! And yes … just me feeding the kitties and talking to them … 🤷🏻♀️👀😆❤️🙌”
