Brooke Burke is a model, TV host, and fitness expert. She won the seventh season of Dancing With The Stars, and hosted the show from seasons ten to seventeen. She has her own fitness app, Brooke Burke Body. Burke recently shared a post on her Instagram story of herself in her home gym. In it, she wore light pink workout clothes. Burke captioned the photo, “Good morning.”

She Eats Healthy

Burke makes sure to eat a healthy diet. She shared her approach to eating in an interview with Forbes. “I try to eat something similar to a Mediterranean diet—lean meat, fish, crunchy vegetables, olive oil and green tea,” she explained. Burke also revealed that she cuts and limits certain foods. “Avoiding starches, flour, processed foods and saturated fats.”

She Doesn't Deprive Herself

While Burke eats a healthy diet, she tells Forbes that she doesn’t believe in completely depriving herself. “I [also] enjoy decadent meals every once in a while and I don’t beat myself up over it," she says. "There isn’t a restaurant in the world where I'm not able to find a great meal," she shares. "At home, a cheat day for me would be red wine and pizza with olive oil, olives and jalapenos.”

She Intermittent Fasts

Burke shared some of her diet secrets in this post on her website. “My suggestion for anyone who is seeking to improve their diet is to start with a simple but powerful tool: intermittent fasting,” she wrote. “Now, I know that the word ‘fasting’ might immediately conjure up images of deprivation and hunger, but that’s a whole different kind of fasting. Intermittent fasting is simply about arranging your meals within an 8‑hour window of the day. For instance, you might confine your meals and snacks to between 11am and 7pm. This not only prevents you from eating early in the morning or late at night, but it also allows you to still fuel your body during the day and burn fat while you sleep.”

She Stays Hydrated

Hydration Is More Than Drinking Water!

Burke makes sure to stay hydrated, and that doesn’t just mean drinking water. She shared her hydration tips in this post from her website. “The truth is that we actually get a lot of hydration from our food, too! Raw fruits and vegetables are packed with vitamins, minerals, fiber and WATER! They nourish AND hydrate our bodies while making us feel full. These are some of the most hydrating items to put on your list: apples, asparagus, bell peppers. cabbage, cantaloupe, carrots, cauliflower, celery, cucumbers, grapefruit, kiwi, lettuce, mushrooms, oranges, radishes, spinach, strawberries, watermelon, yellow squash, and zucchini. I also love mocktails and cocktails that incorporate produce and cactus water – which is more hydrating than coconut water. One of my current faves has minimal sugar and plenty of antioxidants and electrolytes!”

She Schedules Workouts

Burke makes sure to workout on a regular basis. She tells Forbes that one of her secrets is by scheduling workout sessions. "Make a promise to yourself to make yourself a priority and commit to honoring that personal promise. You are worthy of it. I knock out workouts in the morning. It gives me the energy boost to be able to do everything else in my life. I schedule it like I schedule everything else—business meetings, kids’ sports events, etc. It also teaches my children the value of 'me time.’”

Brooke Burke is giving fans and followers a glimpse at her picture-perfect morning rituals, from morning smoothies to exercise sessions. Burke, 52, shared a reel of how she starts her day, including a snippet of her wearing yellow workout gear, doing a sunkissed mat workout outdoors. “Morning Rituals. Rise with the sun, hydrate with full 🍋 water, journal, meditate, grind my coffee beans + froth my full cream (made with love ❤️) make my bed with intention of beginning my day with a completed task, exercise!!!! Yes, of course there is the work|life balance in between all of these tasks. I kiss my fiancé, and tell him that I love him, Make love 🥰, prepare my son's school lunch, make him a smoothie to go, drive him to school, check in with my daughter, The list is long, but my priorities are in order. Yep, make your bed!!!! The way you begin sets the tone for your day,” she captioned the post.

1. Devoted Yogi

Burke is passionate about the benefits of regular yoga sessions. “Yoga is an incredible way to strengthen and support your mind‑body-spirit connection,” she writes on her blog. “The combination of breath, movement, and mindfulness is especially powerful. Not only does it help you increase your flexibility, core strength, balance and mobility, studies have even shown physical improvements in blood pressure, heart disease, digestion and sleep. And that’s in addition to psychological improvements in both stress management and symptoms of depression.”

2. Meal Prepping For the Week

Burke is a big fan of meal prepping and having healthy food on hand at all times. “I think most of us understand the basics of eating a healthy diet,” she writes on her blog. “Obviously, a mix of lean meats, fish, and fresh vegetables and fruits are excellent choices, while simple carbs, saturated fats, and processed foods should be kept to a minimum. Make sure you keep plenty of healthy options on hand like almonds, crunchy veggie sticks, low carb / high fiber fruits, green tea, etc.”

3. Healthy Breakfast After Fasting

Overnight,Oats,,Chia,Pudding,With,Fresh,Strawberry,,Banana,And,ChiaShutterstock

Burke fasts until 11 a.m. and then enjoys a healthy breakfast. “Overnight oats are a heart‑healthy breakfast option filled with fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals,” she writes on her blog. “Of course, I personally love to start the day with a yummy and satisfying breakfast smoothie. They are fast and easy, plant-based (fruits, veggies, and/or nuts), nutrient dense, and wonderfully hydrating. And they don’t leave me feeling bloated.”

4. Advocate For Women’s Health

Burke’s thyroid cancer diagnosis in 2012 resulted in a new appreciation for her body. Fitness was always a big part of my life,” she told Jewish Life Now. “I think I have a much better and much clearer understanding of my body today than I did back then. Being diagnosed with thyroid cancer segued me into being an advocate for women’s health, and it was really because of the process of being diagnosed during a yearly physical. It gave me an understanding of the value of medical knowledge and kind of fighting for that and telling my story to inspire and to help many other people. It was about understanding the value of being a great patient and understanding the medical possibilities that we have today.

5. Body Positivity

Burke believes many different body shapes can still be healthy. “I love body confidence and it’s super important when raising children,” she told Jewish Life Now. “With my daughters, I’m so careful with my words. I’m a size two, so take that off the table and who cares what size we are and how much we weigh. I think it’s about finding your feel-good and feeling beautiful at different stages of your life, and with every size. I don’t like to use numbers and sizes, and what you weigh on a scale anymore. We’re talking about strength, body confidence and I want women to tap into their self-love space and their own inner dialogue, and to find their own self-confidence.”

1. Here Is Brooke’s Plank Challenge

Brooke recommends doing the following exercises 10 times each and repeating the set three times.

  • Plank crunch
  • Plank spider
  • Plank twist
  • Plank lunge tap

2. Mediterranean Diet

Brooke recently explained to Celebwell that she avoids fad diets, because she maintains a healthy lifestyle 365 days per year. “I don't like the word diet. It’s all about building a sustainable, enjoyable, healthy lifestyle,” she revealed to us. Instead, she sticks to a Mediterranean-style eating plan. “I have healthy fats such as olive oil and avocados, vegetables, lean proteins, beans, and nuts,” she revealed. Sometimes she will start her day with a shake. Others, she will eat a grilled salmon salad or some type of protein salad. “I love cobb salad,” she adds. For dinner, she likes fish or a filet mignon with crunchy vegetables. She also enjoys the occasional spirit. “I might have a glass of vino or, if I'm being more health conscious, a tequila-based drink,” she says. “I’m restricting my alcohol intake right now and not drinking any alcohol during the week.”

3. Intermittent Fasting

“I intermittent fast most every day,” Brooke dished to us. “I give myself a resting window of 16 hours, and I eat in an eight-hour window. It's 1:30p right now and I'm breaking my fast. I'm having a shake which is high in calories and in fat, which is totally okay. It has protein, matcha, MCT oil, dates, almond butter, one Tru Niagen stickpack, collagen powder, and cinnamon.”

4. At-Home Fitness

"I am all about the convenience of the digital gym,” Brooke says about her preference when it comes to the gym versus at-home workouts. “That’s one of the good things the pandemic taught us…we can get a great workout from the comfort anin the safety of our own homes.” This is the main reason she started Brooke Burke Body. “I wanted to create something that was accessible to everyone. It sounds crazy but you really can do short 10–20-minute, intense workouts that help you sculpt and tone your body,” she continues. “The app has workouts ranging from 5 minutes to 50 minutes and it is inexpensive at just $9.99 a month. You can even try it for free for a week. But whether it’s my app or free content you find online, take the time to get your body moving. It’s not only good for the body, but also for the mind.”

5. Body Sculpting

Brooke shares a variety of workouts on her Brooke Burke Body app. “I believe in body sculpting. I believe in movement of all kinds. I do enjoy lifting weights and cardio, but you don’t have to sweat for hours to reshape your body,” she said.

1. She Gets Enough Sleep

Time,To,Get,Treatment,For,Your,Sleep,Problem,-,DarkShutterstock

Burke shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Sports Illustrated. When asked what advice she’d give others, Burke talked about the importance of getting enough sleep. “Get your Zs. A good night’s sleep reduces stress, improves metabolism and gives you the energy to live a vigorous and healthy life.”

2. She Drinks Enough Water

Burke told Sports Illustrated that drinking enough water is another piece of wellness advice she has. “Hydrate! Believe it or not, water is your best friend for youthful beauty. Increasing your water intake will help replenish your skin and body and curb your appetite.” Harvard Health states that getting enough water has a lot of benefits. “Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.”

3. She Intermittent Fasts

Burke is open about her decision to intermittent fast. She talked about this in her Sports Illustrated interview. “Everything changes with age, and so has my diet. I’ve been intermittent fasting for the last three years, and it is the easiest nutritional plan I have ever committed to. I eat in an eight-hour window, enjoying good fats and delicious food.”

4. She Works Out At Home

Burke shared her secrets for working out at home with Sports Illustrated. “My fitness routine has completely changed with age. I love digital fitness because it cuts out my travel time and financial commitment to unique classes. I can work out at home doing compound moves, utilizing equipment I already have around my house, and target/tone in less time than ever. In addition, I practice yoga for the mindful component of fitness. I have also learned how to train the female body and focus on all the issues to work harder as we age. The Brooke Burke Body app offers specific workouts to target, tone and sculpt the female body, right in your own home.”

5. She Makes Salads

In this post on her website, Burke talked about some of her favorite recipes. She says that she loves to make salads. “Even salads don’t have to get boring if you think beyond traditional cobb, Caesar, and garden varieties. For instance, a grilled chicken salad with avocado, black beans, and a salsa dressing is completely different from a farro salad with dates and almonds and a vinegar and mustard dressing. Even though I keep the ingredients for a handful of my favorites stocked up, I am always trying new things and experimenting with new combinations.”

1. She Intermittent Fasts

Burke doesn’t eat breakfast, thanks to her fasting schedule. “I never eat breakfast because I intermittent fast. I break my fast with a morning shake,” she tells The List. “The reason I do that is for time. I also do it so that I get everything I need in a three-minute meal. In fact, I can make breakfast for my kids on the way to school in less than a minute, literally, by doubling up in the blender. It's really about efficiency and nutrition.”

2. She Enjoys a Balanced Diet

Burke believes a healthy, balanced diet is key for health and wellness. “Eat the colors of the rainbow. Keep it healthy, crunchy, and natural,” she says. “There isn't a restaurant in the world where I couldn't find a mindful meal. It's really about portion control. Shopping mindfully, cooking at home, and utilizing leftovers are great for economic reasons and time savings.”

3. She Meditates

Burke makes a point of taking time out of the day for mindful meditation. “...Meditation is associated with improvements in many important health conditions—including depression, post-traumatic stress, and hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases,” says Thomas Rutledge, PhD. “It even appears to trigger favorable changes in biological processes such as inflammation, immune system functioning, and cellular aging. To put this in perspective, consider that if a pharmaceutical company developed a medicine akin to meditation—providing such broad health benefits with so few side effects–it would probably be treated like fluoride and placed in the nation’s water supply to maximize distribution.”

4. She Practices Yoga

Burke loves incorporating yoga poses and exercises into her workouts. “There are many options when it comes to finding yoga poses to wake up both your body and your mind,” says yoga therapist Judi Bar. “And for many of them, you can do them right where you are. Once you begin to develop a daily practice, you’ll begin to feel better all around!”

5. She Snacks On Cucumber

Burke rarely snacks, but when she does, she loves cucumber with sesame seeds, lemon, and olive oil. “Cucumbers are a great source of dietary fiber, vitamin C and K, magnesium, manganese, and potassium,” says Nicole Swingle, a registered dietitian in Redding, Calif. “They are also a great food source of water and can help one stay hydrated, especially in the summer months.”

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises

Discover how Tvesa Malik, SuperSport Ladies Championship winner, stays in peak shape with weightlifting, core work, and golf.

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises
Tvesa Malik / Instagram

Tvesa Malik isn’t just a pro golfer—she’s a powerhouse athlete dedicated to staying in peak shape. The SuperSport Ladies Championship winner knows that strength and endurance are just as important as skill on the course. That’s why she takes her fitness seriously, incorporating weightlifting, core work, and mobility exercises into her training.

Last year, Malik gave fans a look at her workout routine in an Instagram video, where she powered through hanging crunches, lunges, and weightlifting sessions. She captioned the post, “Got some major work to do before my next session,” proving that even elite athletes are always striving to improve. Here’s a closer look at how Malik keeps her body strong and ready for competition.

She Lifts Weights

Malik is seen doing a lot of weight lifting in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

She Does Lunges

Malik is seen shifting into lunges in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that lunges are a form of unilateral training, and that makes them effective. “Unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side.”

She Does Core Workouts

Malik is seen doing core workouts, like hanging crunches in her Instagram video. Core workouts are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “While it takes aerobic activity to burn fat in your stomach, core exercises can strengthen and tone the underlying muscles. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes.”

She Does Pull-Ups

An upper body workout that Malik likes to do is pull-ups. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them at the gym. Malik captioned it, “Got some major work to do before my next session.” Asphalt Green says that pull-ups have a lot of benefits. “Pull-ups are a fantastic way to improve upper-body strength. This exercise primarily targets your back and biceps, but involves many stabilizing muscles in your core, arms, and shoulders. Depending on the way you grip the bar, you can even work your chest. Plus, you don’t need any fancy equipment to do a pull-up. Tree branches, scaffolding, and even door frames are all places people can do pull-ups.”

She Golfs

Golf is obviously one of the ways that Malik keeps herself in shape. Better Health says that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

Camila Guper is more than just a fitness influencer—she’s a motivation powerhouse. With 1.1 million Instagram followers, she inspires her audience with workout routines, wellness tips, and a disciplined approach to staying fit. Recently, she took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her latest gym session, including a stairclimber workout, a snapshot of her Apple Watch tracking her progress, and a post-workout mirror selfie in pink workout gear.

Her message? Consistency is key. “Don't underestimate the power of small, consistent actions! Every effort is worth it when you know where you want to go,” she captioned the post. From intense stair workouts to leg-sculpting exercises, here’s how Guper stays in top shape.

She Uses A Stairclimber

In her Instagram post, Guper is seen using the stairclimber. Stair workouts have a lot of health benefits. ACE Fitness says, “Improving metabolic health in terms of lower risks of heart problems and other complications, also by definition improves fitness. You can feel your heart working harder and the fire in your lungs when you ascend stairs. And that’s provoking important changes in your cardiorespiratory system that will make physical activities, like running and walking, feel easier.”

She’s Consistent

Guper makes sure to stay consistent with her workout routines. One way she does so is by staying disciplined. Guper talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Good morning! May we always have the discipline to do what is good for us. Amen 💪🏽🙏🏽✨ 40 min stair + shoulder and chest workout today.”

She Does Lunges

Guper shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunges. According to The Mayo Clinic, lunges have a lot of benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles.”

She Does Leg Extensions

In the previous Instagram video, Guper is seen using the leg extension machine. Asphalt Green says that leg extensions have a lot of benefits. “These machines provide isolation exercises for your legs. This type of exercise works only one muscle or group of muscles, which means you can build up that part of your body quickly. If you want your thigh muscles to really stand out in those shorts you just bought, the leg extension machine is for you!”

She Spends Time Outside

Guper likes to spend time outside. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself enjoying a day by the pool with her dog. Guper captioned the post, “Good Morning! What book are you reading? 📖💚🐺🌮 I'm loving reading How to become super natural! I'm already sharing saying it's a must-read.”

Victoria Justice in Two-Piece Workout Gear Has "A Little Reset"

Discover Victoria Justice's wellness routine, from hiking to yoga.

Victoria Justice isn’t just an actress and singer—she’s a longtime fan favorite, thanks to her roles in Zoey 101 and Victorious. But beyond the screen, she’s also known for her effortless style and active lifestyle. Recently, she gave fans a glimpse into her wellness routine with an Instagram post captioned, “Very grateful for this little reset & this little life 🙏🏼✨🌅”—and judging by the photos, that reset involved plenty of movement.

From hiking along scenic trails to stretching it out with yoga, Justice embraces an active approach to self-care. Here’s a closer look at the habits that keep her feeling and looking her best.

She Hikes

In her Instagram post, Justice is seen hiking by the beach. Hiking has a lot of benefits. Piedmont states, “Going up and down hills gets the heart pumping, creating a great cardio workout. Like most cardio exercises, hiking helps reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and even some cancers. Hiking is a weight-bearing exercise that builds muscle mass and helps prevent osteoporosis. Hiking can help you manage your weight.”

She Swims

Another thing Justice is seen doing in her Instagram post is going for a swim. Better Health says that swimming is very beneficial. “Swimming is a great recreational activity for people of all ages. Recreational swimming can provide you with a low-impact workout and it's a good way to relax and feel good…Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water.”

She Does Yoga

Justice is also seen taking an outdoor yoga class in her Instagram post. Yoga has a lot of health benefits. Harvard Health says, “Yoga develops inner awareness. It focuses your attention on your body's abilities at the present moment. It helps develop breath and strength of mind and body. It's not about physical appearance. Yoga studios typically don't have mirrors. This is so people can focus their awareness inward rather than how a pose — or the people around them — looks. Surveys have found that those who practiced yoga were more aware of their bodies than people who didn't practice yoga. They were also more satisfied with and less critical of their bodies. For these reasons, yoga has become an integral part in the treatment of eating disorders and programs that promote positive body image and self-esteem.”

She’s True To Herself

Justice is all about being true to herself. She talked about this in an interview with People. "Nowadays, I feel like a lot of women feel a lot of pressure to look a certain way,” Justice said. “There's just so much beauty in owning your own individuality and who you are and not trying to be anyone else."

She’s Consistent

Justice makes sure to be consistent with her wellness. She talked about this in an interview with People. "I really appreciate it, especially because I feel like I do things to try to take care of myself the best way that I can. I wear a baseball cap when I can, I wear sunscreen every day, I try to not drink too much, I work out. I definitely put effort towards my wellness, so it feels nice to hear those comments."
