Model and actress Brooklyn Decker is enjoying a fun-filled family vacation with husband Andy Roddick and their kids. Decker, 37, shared highlights from the trip, including a picture of herself wearing orange shorts and a white shirt, posing on a rock in a mossy cave. “Warning: Animals may be present,” she captioned the post. “Love seeing you enjoy these incredible mountains!” a fan commented. Here’s what Decker’s health and wellness regimen looks like as a busy mom-of-two.

1. Weight Training

Decker lifts weights to maintain her strong physique. "I do free weights three days a week,” she told SELF. “I do walking lunges with a weight, then squats, then rotating twists with a plate on my chest, and then arms, too. Having more muscle means burning more calories, which is a reason guys lose weight faster than women. Lifting makes me leaner.”

2. Postpartum Weight Loss

Decker lost a lot of weight after having children. “Before I had children, I had boobs and a body, and I was curvy,” she told Us Weekly. “And then I had children, and after breastfeeding for however many years and doing sleepless nights, I just lost my body, or it became something different. Some people lose their boobs. Some people get bigger. You just had a child, and your child’s healthy, and that’s all that matters.”

3. Hair Oil

Decker swears by Roz Hair Oil to keep her hair healthy. “I just don't have the bandwidth to really do my hair and put on a lot of makeup, so I try to get the essentials, which are typically things that take care of my skin, body, and hair,” she told PopSugar. “I started just adding in this oil, and it totally changed the texture of my hair. Typically, I'll do two bumps [of the hair oil] in my hands, put 'em on my ends, and any leftovers, I'm putting on my arms, shoulders, and anywhere that needs a little extra love."

4. Bedtime Meditation

Stone,,Staffordshire,/,United,Kingdom,-,May,30,2019:,CalmShutterstock

Decker uses the Calm app at bedtime. “When we go to sleep at night, it's the first time that we're actually quiet all day; it's the first time that we don't have a podcast in, we're not on phone calls, we're not talking to other family members or friends,” she told PopSugar. “It's the first time that we're actually quiet, and that's typically when the thoughts start going wild. And so to have a grown person reading me a bedtime story in my bedroom has been the most surprising gift an app has ever given me.”

5. Environmental Issues

Decker talks to her children about environmental issues. ““We talk about how scarce and precious water is, we talk about taking our own cups to restaurants and to fast food places so that we’re not using single-use plastic,” she told Us Weekly. “We talk about adjusting ourselves to the planet versus adjusting the planet to ourselves. We’re not perfect, no one’s perfect, but a good friend told me that if I wait until I’m the perfect environmentalist it’ll be too late.”

Brooke Henderson is training on the golf course in her workout gear. In a new social media post the pro golfer shows off her incredibly strong body while practicing for the Chevron Championship. “Getting ready for our first Major of the year!” she captioned the Instagram post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and wellness? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Hiking

Brooke spent her birthday week in Banff, where she went hiking. “Wow! Banff Springs you are amazing,” she captioned the post. She recently went on a trip to Sedona, hiking there too. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

2. Kayaking

While in Banff she also went kayaking. Kayaking is a great workout. Not only is it great for building upper body strength and helps reduce stress, but can burn up to 400 calories per hour, translating to 1,600 calories in four hours of paddling.

3. Walking

While in Ireland, Brooke did a lot of walking to take in the sights. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

4. Ice Skating

Brooke made the most of her time in Canada by going ice skating. “I have been missing you, but hope to see you soon, eh 🍁,” she captioned a series of Instagram snaps.

5. Golf

Brooke’s main form of fitness is golfing. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.

1. Exercise Is Therapeutic for Her

Lauren, who famously escaped the Westboro Bible Baptist Church, which she grew up in, maintains that exercise is healing for her. “It was very therapeutic,” she told Fox News. “There were times in my life where I experienced a lot of anxiety and depression. For me, it was an amazing outlet. … I got my confidence from fitness and it’s really empowering. … As a nurse, I saw people at the bedside needing heart transplants, open-heart surgery. I really wanted to get on the preventative side of health care. And I just love empowering others.”

2. She Transformed Her Body in 2014

Lauren’s initial transformation happened in 2014 over a 14 week period. “I signed up for my first WBFF (World Beauty Fitness & Fashion) show and trained my ass off - literally. Remember, competition prep is not the same as normal training. I was able to cut through all my excess fat, which revealed the muscle definition I had underneath. I went from 135+ lbs to about 122 lbs,” she says on her website. “Since then, I've worked to build more muscle mass in all the ‘right’ places, becoming stronger, healthier, and happier in the process. The booty and legs you see now are not genetic blessings or surgical projects, they’re the product of hard work. I see girls on social media time and time again calling themselves fitness models, fit chicks, etc… when in reality, most of them were blessed at birth when they won the genetic lottery.”

3. She Follows an 80/20 Eating Plan

The,80/20,Rule,On,Brown,EnvelopeShutterstock

Lauren eats healthy most of the time. “I don't diet - I live an 80/20 lifestyle. Healthy eating 80% of the time and indulge in more fun foods the other 20%. I eat 4-5 meals a day anywhere from 1600-2400 cal depending on my training levels & body goals. Starvation & crash diets are not a solution,” she wrote on Facebook.

4. Her Workouts Are Intense

Lauren’s workouts are intense. She does a lot of strength and weight training exercises, similar to body building.

5. She Hikes

When she isn’t in the gym, you can find Lauren on long walks and hikes with her family. She regularly shares photos on social media of their expeditions. “Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between,” says the National Parks Service.

Kendra Wilkinson is known for being a model and reality star. She appeared in Playboy and on the TV shows The Girls Next Door, Kendra, and Kendra On Top. Wilkinson shared a set of life updates on Instagram recently. In them, she posed in workout gear, hiked with her new dog, and golfed. She captioned the post, “Little photo dump from these past two weeks.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Kendra Wilkinson stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Works With A Trainer

Wilkinson makes sure to stay in shape. One way she does so is by working with a trainer. Her trainer, Ashley Conrad, talked about working with Wilkinson to People. "She hadn't been working out very much because she had a slight injury, so the goal was to really just to get her moving again, get some weight off, and have her feeling better. [And] she wanted to look hot on her birthday!"

2. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Sportive,Beautiful,Woman,Exercise,At,Home,,Doing,Jumping,Jacks.,HappyShutterstock

Wilkinson does a variety of workouts to stay fit. Conrad shared some of them in her People interview. "A normal day would start with a series of calisthenic warm-up exercises ranging from jumping jacks, to butt kicks, to high knees," Conrad says. "Then we'd go into a few different stretches. The majority of the stuff [utilized] body weight, like pushups, jumping jacks, lunges, sprints, planks, plank with a row."

3. She Hikes

In her Instagram post, Wilkinson is seen going for a hike with her dog. The Washington Trails Association states that hiking has a lot of benefits. “For many people, the idea of burning calories is one of the first things that comes to mind when they think about working out. Our bodies use stored energy (calories) to support normal body functions and to fuel us during physical activity. While any type of physical movement will result in the body using its stored energy, the unique nature of hiking can result in greater calorie burn than other forms of exercise. In fact, research from the University of Florida concluded that walking on uneven terrain, like that of hiking trails, causes the body to use 28 percent more energy than walking on flat, even ground due to the subtle shifts in the way your leg muscles must lengthen or shorten while hiking.”

4. She Golfs

Wilkinson is also seen golfing in her Instagram post. According to Randa, golf has a lot of health benefits. “Golf can help strength and balance, improve quality of life and provide aerobic exercise. On a regular 18-hole course, most players will walk between four and five miles, burning up to 2,000 calories.”

5. She Has A Dog

Wilkinson recently adopted a dog, and she features her pooch on Instagram. In her recent post, Wilkinson is seen hiking with her dog. Harvard Health states that dogs have a lot of health benefits. “Ongoing research is showing that the health benefits of owning a dog are undeniable. Dog owners have lower blood pressure and healthier cholesterol levels, and a lower risk of heart disease, than non-owners. There are also many psychological benefits to having a pooch around. Dog owners are less prone to bouts of loneliness, anxiety, and depression. Simply petting your dog can make you feel less stressed.”

Hiking is a weight-bearing exercise, which builds muscle mass and helps prevent osteoporosis.”

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
