Camila Mendes is all about self-care. Recently, she enjoyed a relaxing day at home, where she did some skincare. Camila shared a set of selfies of herself lying on her couch. She wore under-eye patches and a blue set of workout gear. Camila captioned the post, “Still livin’ la vida loops.” How does Camila Mendes keep herself looking amazing? Here are 5 of her secrets.

She Practices Meditation

Camila shared some of her favorite self-care practices with SELF Magazine. “I’ve been trying to meditate whenever I feel like I need it,” she says. “Whenever I feel like my heart rate’s kind of high, and I’m a little anxious and on edge and unable to focus, I try to set out 10 minutes to meditate in that moment and reset and ground myself again. I use an app, Balance. I think that’s really what it is—just learning the tools that you need and moments when you need them.”

She Tries New Workouts

Camila shared some of her fitness secrets in an interview with Women’s Health. She says that she does a lot of different things to keep herself in shape. “I just tried everything I possibly could, because I knew keeping it fresh and always trying new things is also a part of being healthy and going out of your comfort zone.”

She Does Pilates

Camila tells Women’s Health that her favorite form of exercise is Pilates. According to The Cleveland Clinic, Pilates has a lot of health benefits. “The practice may help you recover from an existing injury or manage a chronic musculoskeletal issue. It may also help you establish a healthy baseline, so that when those injuries or issues arise, you’re able to bounce back faster.”

She Works Out In The Morning

Camila tells SELF Magazine that she has a morning workout routine. “My current routine is very soothing in the morning, and it gets me excited to start my day. Once I’ve done that routine, I feel like I can do anything. Usually, I wake up, I make my coffee, I write in my five-minute journal, I get ready for my workout, I go to my workout, then I come home and shower.”

She Treats Her Acne

Camila has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared her secrets for managing acne with Glamour Magazine. “Whenever I have a blemish, I’ll destroy it and pick at it until it bleeds, and then it becomes a wound that eventually scars, so hyperpigmentation is one of my biggest ongoing concerns.
