Camila Morrone Shares Swimsuit Photos "Looking Back"
Camila Morrone started her career as a model, and did a lot of work with Victoria's Secret. She then transitioned to acting, notably starring on Amazon Prime's miniseries adaptation of Daisy Jones & The Six this year. Morrone shared some old vacation photos and videos on Instagram this week. In them, she enjoyed time by the beach, and went scuba diving and snorkeling. She captioned the post, "Looking back at old photos, in awe of the magical places I have been lucky enough to visit in my life. I miss the ocean. It's smell, it's taste, it's feeling. I miss diving, exploring, adrenaline. It is my happy place." How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Camila Morrone stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.
She Works Out In Her Free Time
Morrone shared some of her diet and workout secrets in an interview with W Magazine. "I like to try to do anything active when I'm not on a movie. When I'm shooting a movie, it's really hard for me to do anything besides work. So when I'm home in L.A., I like to try to get some kind of workout in."
She Gets Outside
Morrone tells W Magazine that she likes to do a lot of outdoor workouts. "I like to be outdoors because the weather's so beautiful here. An average day, I wake up, print my audition slides, study for my auditions, and make some matcha to start my day, because I don't drink coffee. Either I'm flying to New York for a job, or I'm out here reading scripts and meeting directors and then trying to fit in an outdoor exercise and probably eating really unhealthy."
She Still Indulges
When it comes to her diet, Morrone is all about moderation. She tells W Magazine that she doesn't mind indulging from time to time. "After I exercise I like to praise myself with carbs, whether it's a pasta, pizza, or a sandwich. I like to not be too hard on myself. That's the most unhealthy that I will do. I don't have an unhealthy lifestyle, but I like carbs."
She Keeps Her Skincare Simple
Morrone has amazing skin, and she doesn't do anything too complicated to it. "All of that weird stuff that looks like it's out of a science lab, I stay away from," she told W Magazine. "I'm really simple. I'm just like, wash your face, keep it hydrated, moisturize every night, whether it's a cream or serum or overnight thing. My mother's trick—who looks amazing and has no wrinkles under her eyes—is to wear eye cream every night. So that's my newest addition to my beauty routine. I don't go to sleep without doing a special cream around my eyes because that's the most sensitive part of your face."
She Meditates
In an interview with Bustle, Morrone revealed that she has started practicing meditation. "I started incorporating a small meditation practice that is anywhere between eight to 10 minutes — I did it at the airport on my way here. I just put my AirPods in and do it anywhere. I use things like the Calm app and really anything I can get my hands on, even YouTube meditations. Especially when I'm moving at a high speed and there's always a lot of people in the room and cameras and events, starting my day off with that as a baseline just eases the transition."
