Bure wished her trainer, Kira Stokes, a happy birthday on Instagram recently. She captioned the post, “Taking a moment to wish my very good friend and trainer extrodinare @kirastokesfit a VERY HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY!! 🎂🎉🎈🥳In honor of her birthday I worked out this morning and did Kira’s new Muscle Up and Shred series on her app, and it’s SOOOO GOOD!! Kira— you are a genius.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Candace Cameron Bure stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Prioritizes Exercise

Bure tells The Salvation Army that she makes working out a priority in her life. "Just sweating that out and all those endorphins really help me a lot. I notice a huge difference when I don’t exercise, how much it can affect me mentally and kind of deal with depression. That's why I keep going. There are a lot of benefits I get. My mind is most important, and exercise definitely helps that."

2. She Jumps Rope

Bure likes to jump rope. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing it, captioning it, “First, whips hurt. Second, this is the first time doing 12 double-unders in a row. Whoo Hoo! Does a jump in between still make it count? Just say YES 👍🏼! I’m learning 😜. #jumprope - P.S. some people have said my rope is too long, however I ordered a rope for exactly my height. When I stand on it, it comes just underneath my armpit- which is where it should land. Still think it’s too long?”

3. She Does Push-Ups

Bure makes sure to eat healthy. She opened up about her diet in an interview with People. “I eat a very plant and grain-based diet,” she said. “I follow a more Mediterranean diet, so I eat lots of fresh vegetables and whole grains and fish. I don’t eat dairy very often, and I’ve cut most of the sugar out of my diet — I see the biggest effect from not eating as much sugar.”

5. She Works With A Trainer

As you can see from her post, Bure works with a trainer. According to ACE Fitness, training has a lot of benefits. “Working with a trainer allows you to become confident with how to perform exercises, use machines and navigate the facility. After a few sessions, you will feel ready to tackle the weight room on your own. Even better, an ego boost during exercise can promote stronger self-confidence and self-efficacy, which can help you stick with your exercise program over the long term.”

Stand up paddleboarding really works your core, as Bure knows. Try it. “You can SUP just about anywhere and at any level, from elite level athlete racing to beginner classes and personal instruction at local parks. 3. Health and Fitness Have Always Been a Part of Her Life

“Health and fitness have always been a big part of my life, even growing up, especially growing up in front of the cameras,” she told Livestrong. “But what changed is I found my enjoyment for health and fitness probably when I hit my thirties. So it was something that was always a part of my life, but it always felt more like a struggle and like, oh, I, I have to go work out today. Or, you know, I can't, I shouldn't eat this, I can't eat this and I should be eating this and it was always kind of a downer in a way. And then it doesn't hurt to be married to a professional athlete so my husband was always very encouraging because fitness obviously has been a huge part of his life and career.”

4. Find the Kinds of Exercises You Love

Celebrity Sightings In Los Angeles - October 21, 2020Rachpoot/MEGA/GC Images

“In my thirties, I finally found the types of exercises that I really liked. And then especially having had my children, I felt so many changes in my body and then finding fitness that really worked for me and then made a difference for me physically and mentally was a game changer. Growing up. I always thought, oh, I have to go to a gym and I have to get on the treadmill or the StairMaster. And it was so boring. Like I hated it, but I would just plug away at my 45 minutes on a machine. And then when I found classes, not necessarily at my gym, but like spin class and Pilates and barre class, I realized how much I enjoyed working out with other people. I liked the energy in there and I thought, oh, these are amazing exercises and I'm not bored. And there's great music. And that's what changed everything for me. I also found out how much I loved lifting weights too. That's my favorite thing. Like I love strength training,” she told Livestrong.

5. Work Hard but Slow Down When Necessary

Candace is spiritual. “Competing on Dancing with the Stars was unquestionably the hardest I’ve ever worked physically,” Candace wrote in her book, Healthy In The Hustle: An Inspirational Wellness Journal. “I had to give it my all because I really didn’t know how to dance. Fortunately, I was paired with a great partner, and I was willing to work my dancing shoes off, and it ended up being a great experience. It turns out, I haven’t always known how to rest either. I’ve needed a strong Partner to walk me through the steps and teach me to flow freely with 'the unforced rhythms of grace.' The one pointer I can give you from DWTS and my journey with Jesus is, follow your Partner's lead. When He tells you to slow down, ease up….”

1. She Loves Pilates

Back in the day Ambrosio would be "off to Pilates class, where I meet a friend and get in some girl time. It's important to break a sweat every day, and I love the way Pilates makes me feel long and lean." “As human beings, we are creatures of habit, We walk a certain way, we take the steps a certain way, we stand a certain way and we sit at our desk a certain way. So our muscles get imbalanced because of overuse and what Pilates does is help to counteract that,” says the Cleveland Clinic’s lead yoga therapist Judi Bar.

2. She’s Done the Tracy Anderson Method

"I am very focused and want to be in tip-top shape for the show, so I try to go [to the Tracy Anderson Method] almost every day of the week. Besides that, I [do] yoga, play volleyball on the beach, and take my kids swimming. I just love being outside," she told PopSugar.

3. She Uses Kettlebells

“In an ACE-sponsored study, researchers from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse concluded that, in addition to the predicted strength gains, kettlebell training improved core strength and dynamic balance, and increased aerobic capacity. With such a diverse increase in specific exercise markers, it’s no wonder kettlebell training continues to grow in popularity,’ says ACE.

4. This Has Been Her Daily Beauty Routine

“My daily routine is simple but effective. I cleanse my face, occasionally with exfoliator, and I love anti-aging serums that are packed full of vitamin C. BB creams with SPF are great too! How do you take care of your hair? About two or three times a week, after I've shampooed my hair, I apply an ultra-reparative mask from the tips to the lengths and leave it on for ten minutes. Every two months, I go to a salon for a deeply nourishing treatment that leaves my hair feeling fantastic,” she told Vogue France.

5. This is How She Slimmed Down

Back in the Victoria’s Secret days, “About a month before the show I cut out all carbs, and then the week before I stick to just vegetables, salads, fruit and a lot of protein,” she told Vogue. “Cruciferous veggies are loaded with water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamins. Namely, they are packed with vitamin C, A, E, and K. Vitamin C assists in collagen formation, keeping your hair, skin, and nails growing healthily. Fat-soluble vitamins A, E, K work together to support our immune system and promote anti-aging. Eat a variety of these veggies and they will keep you looking and feeling healthy for years to come,” says our sister site Eat This, Not That!

Tell me below! #outsideworkout #getactive #workoutofftheday,” she adds in the caption. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Exercise for Mental Health

Candace sweats to "keep my mental health clear," she told The Salvation Army. "Just sweating that out and all those endorphins really help me a lot. I notice a huge difference when I don’t exercise, how much it can affect me mentally and kind of deal with depression," she said. "That's why I keep going. There are a lot of benefits I get. My mind is most important, and exercise definitely helps that."

2. Jump Roping

Candace is a big fan of jump roping, a great anytime, anywhere workout. “First, whips hurt. Second, this is the first time doing 12 double-unders in a row. Whoo Hoo! Does a jump in between still make it count? Just say YES 👍🏼! I’m learning,” she captioned a post. “P.S. some people have said my rope is too long, however I ordered a rope for exactly my height. When I stand on it, it comes just underneath my armpit- which is where it should land. Still think it’s too long?” Why should you give jump roping a try? “Not only can the repetitive movement of skipping rope elevate your heart rate, work muscles in the arms and legs and burn calories, it may even provide a quick jolt of joy,” says Nike.

3. Mixing Up Her Workouts

"I try to work out four to five times a week. I mix it up a lot, so it stays interesting to me," Candace told Parade. She walks the walk in her recent post, exercising on a playground. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans

4. Strength Training

Strength training and HIIT are two of Cameron’s go-to workouts. "I swear by push-ups: wide grip, tricep, dolphin, inclined, declined, you name it. My arms, shoulders, and back have really changed from constantly doing them," she said. There is lots of research backing up the benefits of HIIT workouts, including body fat reduction, improved cardiovascular function, and mental health. It is also time effective.

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely!
