Carl’s Jr. Babe Charlotte McKinney in Bikini Is “Grateful” on 32nd Birthday

Charlotte McKinney is turning 32 in her bikini. In a new social media post, the model, who became an overnight celebrity 10 years ago in her 2015 Super Bowl XLIX Carl’s Jr. commercial, proves that she gets better with age. “🦁Best birthday with fam couldn’t be more grateful 🙏🏻❤️🇧🇸 ♌️💚🐠🥥,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does the ageless beauty approach health and wellness? Here are her top diet and fitness habits.
Hot Water and Lemon
Charlotte told People that she starts the day by sipping on a cup of hot water with lemon. “Warm lemon water is a great way to start her day—nutrients from the lemon can give the GI tract the push it needs to get moving. Plus it can improve skin and boost the immune system,” dietitian Keri Glassman told the magazine.
Clean Eating
Charlotte tries to focus her energy on eating clean. She starts her morning with a banana with a few tablespoons of almond butter, followed by a quinoa burger with hummus and kale salad for lunch and a juice with beets, ginger, lemon, and apple. For dinner, she has grilled shrimp and grilled veggies. For dessert, she has blueberries and a glass of rosé.
Cheat Meals
Charlotte eats healthy most of the time, but does allow herself cheat meals. “I work out really hard and I stay on my diet all week. But on a Sunday, you know, maybe a little hungover, you have to reward yourself here and there, so I do,” she told People.
Lengthening and Toning Exercises
Charlotte also sweats a lot. “I’m all about lengthening and toning. I don’t do heavy weights. I don’t really do anything too intense. It’s more cardio and stretching and yoga and keeping long, lean muscles as opposed to doing a bunch of reps with weights,” she told HollywoodLife. “I usually [work out] six days a week [but] it’s more of a mental thing. Mentally, I feel so much better after I workout. I would say an hour a day, sometimes two hours. It just depends, but I’ve learned to not be so hard on myself.”
Seasonal Eating
Charlotte tries to maintain a seasonal diet and eats fresh food. “I say anyone can lose weight if you eat what’s in season, local, fresh, and not in bags, you’re good. All that other stuff, it’s a trend. Trust me. I’ve fallen into all the juice cleanses and the things, but you end up just crashing so I’ve learned to eat what works for my body,” she told HollywoodLife. The foods that work for her body? “Lots of fish, vegetables, fruits and protein.”
