There are many types of diets celebrities follow to look and feel their absolute best, and many stars have lauded the Paleolithic diet, or paleo diet for short. For the paleo diet, the focus is on whole, unprocessed foods like vegetables, fruits, lean meats, fish, seeds and nuts. It excludes food groups like processed foods, refined sugars, dairy, grains, cereal, and legumes, instead focusing on what hunter-gatherers ate before agriculture became a thing. With this in mind, here are 10+ celebrities who follow the paleo (or a paleo-esque) diet.

1. Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus, 32, was a strict vegan until she switched things up with the help of the paleo diet.

"I was vegan for a very long time and I've had to introduce fish and omegas into my life because my brain wasn't functioning properly," Cyrus said on The Joe Rogan Experience in 2020. "Now I'm so much sharper than I was and I think that I was, at one point, pretty malnutritioned."

This, combined with her allergies to gluten and lactose essentially means the "Flowers" singer follows a paleo diet.

"So, very local, very seasonal, lots of fish and vegetables, rice, no dairy, no sugar, et cetera."

However, the actress has recently reintroduced non-paleo foods to her diet, including "some sourdough bread and some cheese."
