Celine Dion in Swimsuit Enjoys “City Lights, Starry Skies and a Moonlight Swim”

Here are her diet and fitness habits

Celine Dion is giving fans a rare glimpse at her swimsuit body. In a new social media post, the 57-year-old drops jaws, posing in a black bathing suit while in a swimming pool. “City lights, starry skies, and a moonlight swim…✨🌃,” she captioned the set of Instagram snaps, offering photo credit to Jean-François Perreault. “Hot 🔥,” one of her followers commented. “Gorgeous,” added another. How does the legendary singer maintain her figure? Here are her diet and fitness habits.

1

Genetics

Dion chalks her slender frame up to good genes. “People think I’m starving myself, that I don’t eat, that I exercise all the time. It’s not true,” she told Rachael Ray in 2009. “My father, my brothers and sisters — they were all very thin.”

2

Coffee

Celine enjoys the perks of caffeine. “Normal breakfast is a cup of coffee (an espresso),” she revealed to The Hollywood Reporter. She will also have a “cup of joe” with lunch and for an afternoon pick-me-up.According to the Cleveland Clinic, moderate coffee consumption has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Cycling

Celine is a fan of cycling. “I start on the stationary bike,” she revealed to Elle about her workout routine. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is excellent for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

4

Singing Exercises

She also does a unique singing exercise. “Then, I lie on my stomach on a massage table, pushing into my palms or elbows to tone my shoulder blades in order to hold my neck — which is very long — while I sing. My physiotherapist makes sure my spine is aligned and that my shoulder blades aren’t stuck together.”

5

Ballet

Dion began practicing ballet after her husband’s passing with one of her backup dancers, Pepe Munoz. “I decided, when I met Pepe, that maybe it’s a sign,” she told Marie Claire. “We stretch and we do the barre, we kind of improv. I do this four times a week. I’m working hard, but I like to move,” she continued. She added to Good Morning America that she said she has a passion for dancing, specifically ballet, “I do this 4 times a week… I like to move.”
