Charity Lawson In Bikini Celebrates "Anniversary"
Charity Lawson captured all our hearts in 2023, when she appeared on both The Bachelor, and became the lead of The Bachelorette. There, she captured the heart of her fiance, Dotun Olubeko. The couple recently celebrated their two year anniversary. To honor the occasion, Charity posted a photo of the couple kissing on the beach, and a video after the pair got engaged. She captioned the post, "Just two people who said three magical words to each other after a very short time together. My protector, best friend and future hubby – TWO whole years of loving you and yet it feels like it's been an eternity, but also not? Right where I belong, forever loving you @dotunolubeko. Happy anniversary 🤍 swipe for a cute little video in our villa post engagement."
She Appreciates Her Body
In addition to her time in the Bachelor franchise, Charity did very well on Dancing With The Stars, placing fourth. She told Us Weekly that the experience made her appreciate her body even more. "I underestimated how powerful dance can be in transforming your body. You literally utilize every single muscle — muscles I didn't even know I had! I have so much more appreciation for my body, and I have to sustain it."
She Takes Care Of Her Mental Health
At the beginning of the year, Charity posted this Instagram video opening up about her mental health struggles. She wrote int he caption that she is working on taking care of herself. "The start of this year has been unexpectedly heavy, and if you've been feeling it too — be gentle with yourself. There's no right way for what or how you should be feeling. No one can prepare you for how to respond to moments like this, but I do believe that the universal language we all share is love. Love for others, yes — but also love for you. Take care of yourself in the ways that feel right to you. Rest, move, pray, reflect. And let's continue to hold space for each other with compassion, and not toxic positivity.
She Uses Pimple Patches
Charity has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared some of the products she uses with E! News. "I am a pimple patch girlie," Charity said. "Best thing created, in my opinion. Whether it's that time of month or stress, the pimple patch by Hero Cosmetics is a must have and has my pimples away in 24 hours!"
She Uses A Sunscreen
Charity also shared her favorite sunscreen product in her E! News interview. "My favorite sunscreen is Black Girl Sunscreen. As a Black woman, having a sunscreen that is specifically designed for my skin but also is considerate in the cast it leaves behind is important. She's Changing Her Diet
Charity revealed in this Instagram post that she and Dotun are changing their wellness routine up. She revealed her new diet for the year in the caption. "Charity is following a whole foods/home cooked diet with high protein, low carbs and sugar, and no sodas – allowing 2 dessert per week (ice cream; brownies etc) takeout on weekends."
