Charley Hull is testing out her force in exercise gear. In a new social media post the golfer shows off her amazing body and strength while jumping up during a series of testing. “Session of diagnostic testing, with force plates💥 This will give information on my ability to produce force, even out any asymmetries and other metrics to help me steer my training to optimise my golf,” she explains in the Instagram caption. How does the pro athlete approach health and fitness? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Healthy Diet

Charley maintain a healthy diet. For breakfast she enjoys cereal and fruit. For lunch, she will eat “something healthy like salad,” she told BBC’s Good Food. Dinner is usually a “healthy balanced meal like chicken and vegetables. I can’t cook but fortunately I live at home so mum does all the cooking,” she said. In general she doesn’t “worry too much about” her diet. “Maybe I’ll have to when I’m older but at the moment I don’t have to be too disciplined as long as I'm eating a fairly balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables,” she said.

2. Fueling Up with Snacks

Charley fuels up during the day with health snacks like peanut butter and jam sandwiches. “I keep them in my golf bag to munch on during the day. I also eat lots of fruit too like apples and bananas,” she said. She also munches on “lots of fruit throughout the day.”

3. Hydration

Charley hydrates throughout the day. “I drink a lot of water throughout the day and top up with hydration tablets. Particularly if it’s hot,” she said. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

4. Cheat Meals

Charley has a go-to cheat meal: “Pizza! Though I actually eat that during the season too. I don’t really have to watch my weight but maybe that’s my age and it will all catch up with me at some point!” she said.

5. Exercise

Aside from golf, Charley hits the gym. “If it's a non-tournament week I'll focus on working in the gym,” she told Huffington Post. She also gets her st4eps in “I also like going for long walks with my dog. I'll usually do that before I go out so I feel less guilty,” she told Huffington Post.

Canadian pole vault, hurdle, and long jump athlete Robin Bone is showing off her incredible skills on the beach. Bone shared a video of herself wearing a bright pink bikini as she performed cartwheels and backflips on the sand, making it look effortless. “Annual off-season beach gymnastics—have to make sure I can still flip 😅,” she captioned the impressive post. “I can’t even imagine being this athletic and coordinated,” a fan commented. “Beach Barbie!” commented fellow Canadian track and field athlete Rachel Hyink. How does Bone get that incredible physique? Here are 5 ways the athlete stays strong, focused, and limber.

1. Training Schedule

Bone’s workout schedule looks the same day to day:

  • 7:00am: Eldoa exercises and Mobility
  • 7:30am: Warm-up + pre-training activation exercises
  • 8:30am: Technical work/ speed training/ speed endurance
  • 10:30am: Circuit/complex work to end track session
  • 11:00am: Pre-weight training snack/break
  • 11:30am: Weight training
  • 12:45pm: Cool-down/mobility
  • 1:00pm: Ice bath/Contrast therapy
  • 1:30pm: Lunch/Break
  • 3:00pm: Athletic Therapy Treatment w/ PT/Chiro/RMT

2. Upper Body Workouts

One of Bone’s favorite upper body strength exercises is the Stability Ball Body Saw to Pike Pushup. “In a push-up position place your feet onto the stability ball with your hands remaining on the ground roughly shoulder width apart,” she explains. “Once in this position push back towards the stability ball rolling onto your shins creating a flat line from your shoulders to your body. Then roll forward into a pike position with your hips above your shoulders. Once in this pike position, do a push-up keeping your hips above your shoulders. Throughout this exercise it is vital to keep a strong and stable core. (For beginners, start with just the body saw before working your way to adding in the pike push-up!)”

3. Training Diet

Oatmeal,With,Bananas,,Blueberries,And,Almonds.vegan,Food.Shutterstock

Bone’s dietary staple during training days is coffee and a bowl of oats with chia seeds, fruit, and almond butter. "Oatmeal is one of the most affordable whole grains, perfect for hungry athletes on a budget," says Nancy Clark, MS RD CSSD FACSM. "At least half your daily grains should be whole grains. Oats for breakfast give you a good start to reaching that whole grain goal for the day. Oats have about 5 grams of protein per ½ cup dry serving. A good protein target for breakfast is at least 20 grams, so cook the oats in 1 cup milk (dairy milk, 8 g protein, or soy milk, 7g protein) and stir in 2 tablespoons of peanut butter or ¼ cup of nuts (8 g pro), and you’ll have a super sports breakfast!”

4. Hanging Leg Lifts

Another of Bone’s favorite exercises is Hanging Leg Lifts into Inversion. “While hanging on a bar with straight arms and straight legs, lift your feet to touch the bar,” she says. “Once in this position, using your core, lift your hips above your head into a fully inverted position with your feet towards the ceiling (you will be hanging upside down on the bar!). Then lower your hips back down while keeping your feet straight above you in a pike position. Without dropping your feet, lift your hips back above your head into the inverted position. Build your way up to doing sets of 10. For beginners, focus on completing 10 regular leg lifts without inversion while building strength.”

5. Head In the Game

Bone is known for wearing a helmet when competing, after suffering a concussion when she was 16. “In high school I knew people were talking about it but I just never cared,” she says. “My dad was a football coach and I was always tagging along, so wearing a helmet didn’t seem like this embarrassing thing. It never seemed silly to me. When I was a freshman at these track meets, I could hear the whispers. It just motivated me. It showed me how much I care about pole vault and why I could be just as good as the people making fun of me.”

Track and field athlete Chari Hawkins is giving fans a look at what typical competition for a female athlete looks like. Hawkins, 32, shared a video of herself wearing black shorts and a green shirt, comparing the heights of all the different hurdles. “All the heights of the professional hurdle races ✨ it kind of makes you realize what superheroes the men hurdlers really are, doesn’t it??? Happy Monday! Today at practice we have hurdles, so I thought I’d show you what we are working with! ❤️❤️,” she captioned the post. Here’s what Hawkins’ training looks like.

1. At-Home Workouts

Hawkins continued training even when the 2020 Olympics were pushed back a year. “I've been doing my very best to just get a sweat in at home, go on a run and then come home and do dumbbells and a Bosu ball—just trying to get in as much as I possibly can and keep trying to take it as like, 'Hey, this is like an off-week where you're just doing the little things, you're not doing anything crazy, but you're not going to lose it.’ I think the most important thing was trying to keep your mind sane,” she told Sports Business Journal. “And I think that, honestly, I probably did a better job keeping my body sane than my mind during the uncertainty.”

2. 80/20 Rule For Diet

Hawkins says nutrition is something she had to learn. “The biggest thing that my coach has always talked to me about is the 80/20 rule,” she told PROMiXX. “80% of the time making sure I’m having balanced food and the right nutrition to recover: the right amount of protein, the right amount of fats, the right amount of everything I might need. And then 20% of the time allowing yourself to live a life. At the end of the day, when we do 100% of everything, that’s how we start getting mixed up in “this is who I am and if I don’t do well I’m not good”. Keeping perspective is really important. That 80 is keeping us healthy, that 20 is keeping us sane.”

3. Visualization Techniques

Hawkins uses visualization techniques to deal with anxiety. “Before practice, I was getting a sports massage. They are brutal. I decided if I could take that pain I could take the pain of my workout the next day,” she told Upworthy. “I started visualizing my race model for the next day, my pace, I was working with the pain that I was feeling. I was able to get through it a lot better. I wasn't as squirmy. The next day, it was my most successful workout ever. It was almost as if I had already experienced it. When I started feeling pain or anxiety in my workout, I pushed past it in my head.”

4. Pushing Through Doubt

Donít,Give,Up,Exclamation,Written,On,Chalkboard,With,Vintage,StopwatchShutterstock

Hawkins almost gave up competing but was determined not to give up. “I decided I'm going to work and not have one day where I don't work as hard as I possibly can,” she told Upworthy. “I'm not going to go without fighting as hard as I possibly can. That's exactly what I did. Got enough sleep, put the right kinds of food in my body. I was working on getting faster, stronger, but also on my physical recovery. Just making strides in so many areas. It took me from 25th in the nation to 3rd. I honestly truly believe that it's because I made a promise to myself to give everything I could.”

5. Girls on the Run

Hawkins loves mentoring young runners through Girls on the Run. “It's been such an incredible experience. Every single day they got a little better,” she told Upworthy. “The day I spoke to them, the subject was joy and all the things that bring them joy. Every time they ran a lap they got a bracelet. They wrote something on a board that brought them joy. What an incredible practice. Running isn't a punishment. At the same time, they don't have to be average. Running can kind of help you become your own empowered self. They don't need to fit any mold.”

Maria Fassi is showing off her swing – in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the golfer flaunts her amazing legs in a golfing outfit while on the course. “Ready to go in Boston, let’s go have a great one!!” she captioned the Instagram video. “🔥🔥🔥 amazing,” one of her followers commented. “Ufff those legs 🔥🔥🔥😍,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. 6 Workouts Per Week

During the offseason, Maria works out six days a week, with two days of active recovery. Those days usually involve low intensity workouts like walking or swimming, she told PGA.

2. Heavy, Lower Body Workouts

“One day of the week, I do moderate to heavy lower body workouts in the gym,” Fassi told PGA. “The key is to do a lot of reps with not a lot of weight. The goal is to be explosive — to be fast.” She does lunges, squats and deadlifts, which help with her swing. “It is good to train my body to move fast and explosively because those are the exercises that get me more distance, and who doesn’t want more distance?” she adds.

3. Upper Body

“Another day is all about the upper body. This is where I do any sort of workout that trains for fast twitches of the arm and shoulder muscles,” she told the publication.

4. Less Reps with More Weight

Other days of the week she focuses on doing slower, more controlled movements to train the whole body. “Less reps with more weight help keep my full body engaged during the workout,” she told PGA. Which day of the week is the most important in the gym? She says, “every exercise compliments one another so there is no one day or exercise which stands out. They’re all important, but the average golfer can see a lot of improvement in their game with mobility exercises.”

5. Yoga and Pilates

She also does mobility workouts including yoga and pilates. “Yoga and pilates are nice because they’re more than mobility to me,” she adds. “They train my mind because they’re relaxing, which helps with my mental game.”

Being short on time isn’t an excuse to skip your workout. Camille Prats, a fitness influencer and trainer, shows off her amazing figure in a brand-new workout video shared to social media. “No time to workout? We’re not squeezing it in! We’re making time for it coz its a priority! 😉Try this quick chipper with me!” she captioned the post. Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle routine – and the details of her workout.

1. The Chipper Workout

“Hey, there, no time to work out. Maybe you would want to try the chipper with me,” she says in the video. Here is the workout:

  • 50 plank jacks
  • 40 high knees with a skip
  • 30 skaters
  • 20 in and out jumping squats
  • 10 one hand sprawls.

She also offered a “modified version” for beginners. “If jumping is too much for you, but you can always try to push yourself nice and easy. Repeat the round again. Starting from 10 sprawls to 50 plank jacks. As many rounds as you can enjoy,” she says.

2. Workout Buddy

Camille’s workout buddy is her husband, VJ Yambao. They soared to viral fame by sharing their fitness journey. In a YouTube video, the mother of three revealed that she and her husband push each other and make sure their form is on point so they can avoid injury.

3. Strength Training

Camille mainly does strength training with cardio mixed in. She tries to continually increase weights as she progresses. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions

Sharpen your thinking skills

4. Barre4

Camille also does Barre3, a class that consists of three workouts: barre, yoga, and pilates: "It helps with flexibility, toning, and lengthening,” she says in the YouTube video.

5. Intermittent Fasting

Camille is also a fan of intermittent fasting. She does a fasted workout in the morning, drinking only a cup of coffee before she hits the gym. Her first meal, around midday, is usually chicken or fish with vegetables and rice. Intermittent fasting works by “prolonging the period when your body has burned through the calories consumed during your last meal and begins burning fat,” explains Johns Hopkins Medicine.

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
