Charlize Theron in Workout Gear Plays Tennis With Novak Djokovic

Charlize Theron is one of the most talented and famous actresses of all time. She won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Aileen Wournos in the film Monster. Her other memorable roles include the Evil Queen in the Snow White & The Huntsman films, and Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road. Theron recently played tennis for her charity, and shared highlights from the day on Instagram. In them, Theron hit the court with Novak Djokovic. How does she stay so fit? She Plays Tennis
As you can see from her recent Instagram post, Charlize loves to play tennis to stay in shape. Charlize opened up about her life and career in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. She says that she has reached a stage in her life where she is comfortable, and she knows what she wants. “I don’t have time for bullshit anymore. I just feel more comfortable the older I get. And I think a lot of that is because I have found my power and I have real true happiness.”Â
She Wears Sunscreen
Charlize has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared her morning skincare routine in an interview with Vogue. “I usually wash my face really quickly and brush my teeth, and I always, always put sunblock on,” Charlize said. “I don’t go out without it no matter what, even if it’s grey I always put sunblock on. Then I usually go straight to the gym right after I drop them off so that it’s out of the way. Then I’ll come back and take a shower and start moisturising.”
Charlize makes sure to work out on a regular basis. She tells Vogue that she likes to workout first thing in the morning, so she can get it out of the way. “I really love getting the gym out of the way in the morning – it’s when I have the most energy. For me it’s very motivational and it’s like the best caffeine in the world, my brain is not good when I don’t workout. Between 7am and 8am in the morning I’m always doing something. One thing Charlize likes to do to stay in shape is to do Pilates. She tells Vogue, “I’m very into Pilates, I’ve worked with the same teacher for close to a decade now. I have a [reformer machine] in my house and she lives close to me, so most of the time our workouts are here at home. She’s just a gem.” Better Health states that Pilates has a lot of benefits. “Pilates can be an aerobic and non-aerobic form of exercise. It requires concentration and focus, because you move your body through precise ranges of motion. It requires concentration in finding a centre point to control your body through movement. Each exercise has a prescribed placement, rhythm and breathing pattern.”
