Actress Charly Jordan is grateful for the life she lives. “Feeling so thankful for this little life, reflecting today on all the beautiful places I’ve been and incredible things I’ve done. So thankful for my family, for you guys, and for my health this Thanksgiving! This past year was a hard one with a lot of important transitions for me personally. Thankful I get to share all these pivotal moments with you guys and getting to grow up together! Happy Thanksgiving🍁✨💋,” she said on Instagram. Here’s how Charly stays in such incredible shape.
She Works On Her Mental Health
She prioritizes her mental wellbeing and is honest about her struggles. “Today is World Mental Health day ❤️ there’s nothing more important than your mental health. I’ve struggled with mine over the years and have always been open with you guys about what I deal with (PMDD). It’s ok to not be ok, but make sure you talk to some one about it. Isolation is not safety. I’ve dedicated a lot of my life to bettering myself and understanding how to be more patient with others, but something that helps me no matter what with my mental health is getting outside and being active, which is why I do all the things that I do, especially making music. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times it’s saved my life. Find the beauty in your pain, make sure your friends are ok, I love you,” she said on Instagram.
She's Confident
On a series of photos of her by the water, she looks confident and comfortable in her own skin. “I want to remind you you’re beautiful just the way you are. Something I’ve also had to tell myself lately, as I feel there’s more pressure in the industry to get body modifications than ever. Your body is so powerful and it allows you to do so much every si
She Swims
She snorkels and swims, while feeding her adventurous soul, shark diving. “It’s Shark Week 🦈 took my now sixth cageless dive w @oceanramsey last week, look how stunning these Tiger sharks are! My first time redirecting this stunning female Luana ❤️ While there’s a lot of positive media about sharks out there, there’s also a lot of negative,” she said on Instagram. According to the CDC, “swimming can improve [your] mood and people report enjoying water-based exercise more than exercising on land.”
She Hikes
She loves spending time outdoors, hiking and finding ways to stay active. “Balancing having a healthy lifestyle and routine while traveling so much has been extremely difficult and something I’m still working on to this day. But there’s no better feeling than finishing a hike or pushing my body past its limits even if it’s uncomfortable. It’s frustrating when things that used to be so easy for me, are challenging at times now, but life is full of ups and downs and that’s just part of it. Especially because I used to be an athlete, I tend to find myself being extremely hard on myself mentally and physically. But I’m just here to remind you to take baby steps and do things that make you feel good,” she said on Instagram.
She's Strong
She’s thankful for her strength and health. “Grateful for this body that carries me through my daily life. There’s nothing I’m more thankful for than my health and having a strong body. I really learned the value of how incredible it is to feel healthy on a daily basis, especially since I really struggled with it this past year. Whenever I do have good days, I’m so thankful for it,” she said on Instagram.
