Chicago’s Ashley Graham Shows Off Figure In Two-Piece Workout Gear

Since Ashley Graham is a model, she obviously knows her fashion. She shows off her amazing style in magazines, on red carpets, and even on her own Instagram. Ashley recently shared some of her looks for the summer in a reel. In it, she wore a long red sparkly dress, a two piece set of loungewear, and a white dress with a gold vest, among others. Ashley captioned the post, “A little try on for your Sunday.” How does Ashley get her figure looking amazing? Here are 5 of her wellness secrets.
She Does A Mix Of Different Workouts
For Ashley, working out is all about variety. Her trainer, Shannon Decker, has created a fitness routine with a lot of different aspects. “Ashley is very fit and athletic,” Shannon said to Cosmopolitan. “I love to program a combination of weight training, cardio and mobility, with a focus on core to maintain her current frame.”
She Prioritizes Fitness
From her work to her family, Ashley leads a busy life. But that doesn’t mean that she skips workouts. Shannon revealed to Glamour that Ashley makes fitness a priority. “She trained the day she left for Milan Fashion Week, came home for a night before she left for Paris fashion week, and we still managed to fit in a workout that night!”
She Loves Fruit For Breakfast
Ashley shared some of her favorite foods in an interview with Good Morning America. She says that she likes to start her day with fruit. “I’ll have fruit that I can grab and eat on the train with me, a banana or an apple. I like to eat lightest to heaviest throughout the day. Fruit digests faster than anything so I want that in my body first. I try not eat meat until night.”
She Doesn’t Restrict Herself
Ashley does eat a healthy diet, but she doesn’t believe in restricting herself. “I’ll also have splurges every once in a while,” she told Good Morning America. “Like mashed potatoes and mac-and-cheese. Nothing about me is perfect in the way that I eat, but I always try to manage it. I always try to say, ‘Tomorrow is a new day. If you mess up today, don’t feel guilty about it.'”
She Loves Yoga
Ashley likes to workout with her husband, Justin Ervin. One thing the two do to keep themselves in shape is practice yoga. Ashley shared this photo on Instagram of herself and Justin doing poses in their home. She captioned the post, “Yogis sitting in our yin after a fiery yang.” According to research done by Harvard Medical School, yoga has a lot of physical and mental benefits. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years gained less weight during middle adulthood. People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”
