Chris Hemsworth's Trainer Shares the Perfect Post-Workout Meals
From the first moment Thor (aka, Chris Hemsworth) took up his hammer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we've all wondered how he keeps himself in shape. Luckily, Hemsworth's trainer, Luke Zocchi, shares plenty of tips when it comes to fitness and nutrition. From the best meal to prepare post-workout to how working out with others can help push you, here are some of Luke Zocchi's tips that'll get you in Thor shape—including his go-to protein-packed meals to prepare post-workout.
1. Eat a Protein-Packed Post-Workout Meal
Luke Zocchi shared some tips on Instagram for creating the perfect post-workout meal.
Tip number one? If you typically train in a fasted state, it's essential to eat "sooner rather than later" after you've completed your workout. Luke recommends a protein shake with fast-digesting carbohydrates or chicken breast with rice and Greek yogurt. Talk about two protein-packed meals!

2. Keep Your Meals Simple
Luke's second tip is to keep your meals as simple as possible, as this promotes consistency.
He captioned his video, "I like to keep things simple. It makes it easy to follow and if it's easy to follow, the more consistent you will be with it. In this game consistency is key on you getting results."

3. Prepare Your Own Meals
Luke prepares many delicious meals on his Instagram account. In one video, after whipping his pan around a few times in the air, he makes an omelet with red peppers, sweet potatoes, olive oil, and salt.
Luke discussed how making meals from scratch can help you eat all-around healthier. "I have been on the road now for 3 months. It feels good to get my hands dirty and mess up the kitchen. The best way to control your food intake and know what you are putting into your body is to cook your own meals," he wrote in the caption.

4. Work Out With Others
Luke Zocchi revealed what it's like to work with Chris Hemsworth in an interview with Centr. He explained how he gets the actor to push himself during their training sessions.
"We know each other pretty well, so there would be times that I'd come into the gym and say, 'Alright, we are going to do this, we are going to do ten pull-ups and 20 push-ups'. And he'd be like, 'Yeah, I don't really feel like doing that'. And I was like, 'What do I do now,'" Luke shared. "Because he is so competitive, I'll go do my pull-ups, my push-ups, and next minute he's behind me doing more than me. He is very competitive and that is how I kind of trick him into doing things."
He added, "I got the lucky job of training Chris obviously, and I haven't looked back. I have been on the road with him for years now. There is that old saying of 'you become the people you hang around with'. And I really believe that, with Chris and our crew, everyone is in such a positive mindset and it is just a great team to be a part of."
