Chrishell Stause is down under in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the reality star shows off her flat abs in sweatpants and a crop top, revealing that she is heading to Melbourne, Australia for a month to shoot Neighbors. She shared the image via her Instagram Stories. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
1. High Intensity Interval Training Workouts
Chrishell is a fan of high intensity interval training, which she does with Ocho, a personal trainer and the founder of fitness studio Power 8 in LA. "A week of workouts for Chrishell can vary," he told Women's Health. "Her schedule is very hectic, so we get in what we can, and HIIT training is one of the most efficient ways she can build muscle and burn fat at the same time." There is lots of research backing up the benefits of HIIT workouts, including body fat reduction, improved cardiovascular function, and mental health. It is also time effective.
2. Strength Training
Strength training is also her jam. "We do heavyweight and plyometrics, as well as HIIT, so that her body is always moving and so that she never gets bulky, but still gains strength," Ocho told Women’s Health. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:
- Develop strong bones
- Manage your weight
- Enhance your quality of life
- Manage chronic conditions
- Sharpen your thinking skills

Chrishell detailed her diet to Women's Health, starting with breakfast. "What I love for breakfast is eggs," she said. "My favorite thing is scrambled egg whites with cheddar cheese and pepper." When she is busy she will get a quick fix. "Lately it's probably been more of a protein bar," she admitted. "When I'm busy, I normally either grab a banana and peanut butter, or a protein bar. I'm obsessed with peanut butter."
4. Carbs

Chrishell isn’t afraid of carbs and loves Italian food. "I haven't really met a pasta that I don't like, but I guess my favorite would probably be bucatini with cracked pepper and Parmesan cheese," she said. "I love fish. I also love sushi and pizza." She also likes to cook. "One dish I'm proud of is my spicy shrimp pasta. It's so good and has a little kick to it," she told Women's Health. "I'll do it with whole-wheat noodles, sautéed shrimp, red pepper chili flakes and a spicier tomato sauce."
5. Pilates

Chrishell also does Pilates “once or twice a week to lengthen, stretch and recover," Ocho adds. "It’s low impact and allows her to reset, while still getting a good workout in." The Mayo Clinic supports the many benefits of the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
