Christina is a proponent of a particular workout with studios nationwide. “I discovered Orangetheory and I’m totally hooked!” she told People. “It combines running, which is my favorite workout, with weight training, which I never do on my own. It goes by super quickly and is always challenging. And it helped to get me in the best shape of my 30s!”

She Eats Clean and Organic

Christina focuses on maintaining a “very clean, organic diet,” she revealed to People. She limits gluten and dairy. “I eat five small meals a day that usually consist of overnight oats for breakfast, a green juice for a snack, salad with a protein for lunch, granola bar as a snack and then a healthy dinner of chicken or salmon and veggies, tacos or vegan chili. For a little dessert, I love Justin’s Organic Mini Peanut Butter Cups — delish!”

She Takes Supplements

Christina revealed to Country Living that she has a thyroid disorder. To help control it she takes a variety of supplements including selenium, a daily multivitamin, vitamin D, vitamin K, fish oil, and an adrenal supplement for a midday boost.

5

She Avoids Fad Diets

In her book The Wellness Remodel, Christina reveals that a balanced diet is key, avoiding trendy diets. “That means no fads, no all-or-nothing dieting, no off-limits food groups — just real food that makes your body look and feel like the best version of itself — and no rules other than learning how to tune in to your own hunger and craving cues,” she explains.

6

She Loves Her Body

Ultimately, Christina stresses the importance of self-love and acceptance. She suggests that instead of comparing yourself to others, or setting unrealistic weight goals, you should strive to be healthy and feed good. “The body you have is ultimately the one you’ve got,” she says.
