Ciara In Workout Gear Does “Ecstasy Challenge”

Ciara has released some of the catchiest songs out there, including “1,2 Step”, “Goodies”, and “Level Up.” Recently, she released a new song, “Ecstasy.” Ciara also introduced a new social media challenge for the song on Instagram, alongside Kristy Sarah. In them, the pair rocked matching sets of workout gear. Ciara showed off her impressive physical feats by balancing on a chair. How did she get that figure? Here are 5 of Ciara’s wellness secrets.

She Boxes

Ciara and her husband, NFL star Russell Wilson, like to workout together. One thing they both enjoy doing is boxing. Russell shared this video on Instagram of himself and Ciara sparring in their garage. Russell captioned the post, “Training with my lady… @Ciara we will whoop dat… 🤣😂🤪…also I think I may have let one go while swinging.”

She Didn’t Pressure Herself

After having her fourth child last year, Ciara talked about losing the weight from pregnancy to E! News. She says that she wasn’t pressuring herself to drop the weight right away. “Sometimes, you want to make things picture-perfect and life doesn’t allow you to do that,” she said. “This is real s–t. There’s no perfectness to motherhood. For example, I had a scale drop and now the scale went back up. I was like, uhhh. I’m going to give myself grace, and eat a couple of potatoes and ice cream because I need that for my mind. That’s where I am with it—and it’s OK.”

She’s Motivated

Ciara makes sure to stay motivated to workout. “A few years ago I upped my commitment level to really living a healthy life,” she told W Magazine. “I would train for what I needed to do, like going on tour or a video, but I wouldn’t really be consistent every day. Once I made that commitment to live healthier and make better fitness decisions, it was game-changing for me—and I realized that I didn’t have to work as hard. ”

She Runs

In order to get some cardio in her life, Ciara loves running on the treadmill. “I used to run track in high school, so I was always an athlete at my core, but it’s sometimes fun when you get on a treadmill and you just sprint for one minute, then pop off,” she told W Magazine. “You push yourself in between breaks to the highest speed you can go to. Spring and hop off, and repeat. You can do it 10 times, and it really gets your cardiovascular going like crazy, and it’s good for conditioning.”

She Limits Her Carbs At Night

Ciara broke down what she typically eats in a day in her W Magazine interview. She says that she limits the amount of carbs in her dinners. “I’ll have my dinner. What I’ve been trying to do lately is cut down my carbs at night. This meal plan and workout plan is the healthier side of me. When I’m super dialed in, I’ll have a fish and two vegetables at night and call it a day.”
